The Frydarian Tale is still being crunched out for its Ganker3 debut. The Iron Ghetto is nearing completion, with all that remains being cosmetic. Well, that and the fight with Viceroy Canor. Then it’s off to the BirchWood Forest where I can finally make the Gremlings in 3D.
As I am going on vacation, this will also give me the perfect opportunity to work on some banger tunes for my video game. In the meantime, have this goofy render.
You don't need to make something that's never been done before to succeed. If anything, trying to force something unique will just lead you down the path of making a shit game that no one will actually enjoy.
I have a little idea but feature creep has set in. I don’t know which features I want keep and which to get rid of.
I’m pretty sure I want to make some sort of rpg adventure game with capturing monsters and making them fight alongside you. I think I want basic graphics like ps1 since that’s probably the best I could do art wise anyway.
I tried making an RPG from scratch in Gamemaker Studio when I was in college but gave up after about three months. I remembered it earlier today and I'm thinking about trying to work on it again but this time in Unity.
How shitty are my sprites lol? Should I just completely scrap them? The bodies are a little weirdly shaped but they have the sort of feel I'm wanting for them.
I still discourage other people from using it, especially Gankerners, because I’m sick of seeing idiots blaming their tools every time they screw something up.

I think I’m going to try make a kings field type game.
Not if i make it first
maybe I’ll make a VN
>have game idea
>look it up to see if it’s been done before
>it’s been done, and better than I could ever do
>repeat
just do your own take on it. theres nothing thats 100% original
>think up shape
>look up to see if ifs been drawn before
>its been drawn before
This what you sound like. If people really cared sequels wuldnt be a thing at all.

Also it's hard to see with such shit quality but the Shadow people flee when the fire ignites.
Looks like I should get ready to fight Sjas.

On the shores of my own subconscious mind.

I dont even know anymore. When I'm away of the computer I have frickton of ideas that I want to work on. But as soon as I sit, all are gone.
Take notes, you fool. Briefly describe your idea in a few key words so when you read it later you trigger your memory.
>realize learning Godot is going to take me over a year until I can make my own game
welp... better get back to grinding
Don't learn Godot you'll regret it
Godot is great and I do not regret learning it.

Making your game will take minimum 2 years, no matter which engine you chose
>use lua which is a easy scripting language
>playerbase are moronic kids therefore easy money printing machine
Take the Robloxpill.
