Still working on implementing controller support since deciding to make a co-op option. Got them in for the most part, and now Im working on creating&assigning everything properly to the 2nd player.
I've gotten started on my first game. Very excited. It's styled on boardgames, so very simple scope, but I'm still really excited to play it. I'll come back when I have the some graphics completed
i finished my game and now i get like 10-40 bucks a day
didn't get famous or anything. no english speaking tubers played the game.
i just have passive income now
This was me. $50/day. Then 40, then 30, etc. Now 7 months after my release, it's $7/day currently
How much marketing or market research did you anons do before picking your project or deciding on a release timeline? Did you just make a game to explore a mechanic or theme and release it as soon as you considered it done?

I just made something I really wanted to make. Didn't really promote it other than dropping a trailer on youtube that nabbed a few hundred views. Promoted myself on these boards a bit, mostly good responses, mixed in with a few schizo's who rage for some reason. Game got played by a popular streamer and had around 40,000 views after it was released. Zero increase in sales (that was the biggest disappointment).
Good thanks, how's yours OP?
Not telling until you post yours, homosexual
I will NEVER make a fucking game.
Is it worth it making a game? I got basically nothing else to do anyways
Do it anon it's worth it, even if you're no good at it and just doing it as a hobby it's one of the most rewarding experiences
Been thinking abt making a 3rd person mech game since there aren't much, but something akin to Heavy Gear 2 but with the customization of Armored Core
Yes, but start your scale SMALL.
Working on this kobold for something a bit larger atm.
>Another furtroon slop
I'm gonna make vampire survivors but all the characters are cute furry boys

Been spending the previous day studying huge breast models on Gelbooru to see how well/the limitations would be
i don't know what engine i should use to make my dead space/re4 ripoff in
Working on map format to have half walls and multiple layers at once. Decided to have the reverse engineering project be it's own thing on the side.
Pretty cool two see the two different camera movement styles within the same webm.
Cool stuff anon, keep it up!
I'm still grinding Unity tutorials. Hope to make some crazy rpgs eventually but shooting for a fun action platformer first for more experience
Taking a break from my main project to make a Christmas themed game
Very nice! You writing your own engine or using an existing one for this?
I like it
Godot, but honestly I'm using so little of it that I could really put it anywhere.
