my game isn't coming out for another decade so I'm thinking of making a quick buck selling assets, but I have no idea how to make shit actually compatible with people's projects
working on a cute horror rpg maker project about a schizo maid exploring her dreams.
I cant code for shit, my only skill really relies in creating assets and writing, of which isnt even that great.
Hope to have a demo for my tactical gambling RPG ready by the end of the year. I've implemented basically all mechanics I wanted, all that's left is polish and qa. Also made a new trailer.
BIG UI REDESIGN ever last week, added music variety and fixed a gamebreaking bug anons found yesterday. Most up-to-date version is browser build.

Just try to narrow things down anon! Remember that you can create one thing now and then another later. So pick the idea you think best serves your game and go with it. Good luck!
Pretty damn good, just working on the movement control and feedback
It's the thing you'll spend 80% of the game doing so I'll spend 80% of the development on it
Real world is fricked up. Found a way to move the conciousness of people into a digital world. Everyone escaped there. People try to shape the digital world by hacking or coding for their own personal gains.
>you should play games similar to the one your making to see how other people have done it
is it just me or is this the single worst piece of advice i've ever been given?
modelling is hard and so much more time consuming than programming
and i hate it

would literally trade half my coding skills for the ability to model, paint and animate...
Slow, but steady. Making animations is kinda tedious.

Wait i need to download it to get the neural network thing?
Yeah, unfortunately webgl doesn't support it.
Just starting! But I honestly I don't know how to approach it first. I have so many ideas and I don't know how to organize them in a single game.

I have a google keep file with 10 ideas
thats it
I'm trying to add giant skeletons in a game about digital-conciousness. I don't know how to tie in those two concepts
Maybe they could represent the physical body that hosts the users mind? Whats the general premise about?

consciousness is actually contained in the skeleton
thats why they're always escaping the grave and running amok
oh and thanks for the idea. sounds pretty good, I'll write that down
