Firefly, formerly known as AR-26710, was born in an incubation pod of the Falakor Galaxy. As a genetically-modified baby, fate left her with only one future: To become the pilot of the Molten Knight "Samuel-IV" (referred to as Sam), and to join the endless war between humans and The Swarm.
But before Firefly set foot on the battlefield, her fleet was ambushed. The overwhelming argenites destroyed the ship, wiping out the army in space. Decades later, the drifting wreckage was recovered by the Stellaron Hunters. After waking up from a deep sleep, she was told that her old planet had perished in the catastrophe caused by the Antimatter Legion. But, the centuries-long war between humans and insects was finally proclaimed as over by a third party from outside.
So Firefly took the Molten Knight armor and joined the Stellaron Hunters. Her life was on a countdown, but Elio says that this journey will teach her how to live. Elio stopped there, the answers to her questions are for Firefly to find out herself. So before arriving at her predestined conclusion, despite only having a fleeting lifespan akin to that of an actual firefly, she is willing to experience anything and everything.
Due to gene editing, Firefly's aging is different from that of ordinary people. One day, she will rapidly age and die. Compared to long-life species, she is a short-life species.
The Molten Knight is actually a weapon made by humans using argenite husk. Whoever pilots it will be affected by the Path of Propagation, and their body tissue and mental state will be corroded, resulting in mutations until death.

I think the thing with Firefly is that even if she's manipulating TB, it's also all genuine. Even though the things she said was probably half true, the emotions and sentiment behind them were genuine. She took the risk probably due to believing that TB would take action.
It's easy to see why Firefly went with us the way she did. For one, between being a hulking flaming mech and a cute girl, one is a lot more approachable. Not only that, but she probably wanted to do those date activities personally. In general, the Stellaron Hunters even though they are using TB, have a lot of emotional attachment and fondness for them too.
Sure, but I think it's a bit much to always expect the Trailblazer to dance to their tune, never being straight with them and always using underhanded methods to make them do what the Hunters want. If the writers had any intelligence, the Trailblazer should eventually rebel once it gets to a certain point.
Even if intentions are good, even if there's genuine affection, no one deserves to be treated as a puppet and no one should stand for it either. It's insulting and cruel.

I think that's what I like about the Stellaron Hunters, the contrast between their affection and cruelty. TB can at least feel pissed off at them and even flip the bird, considering how you can skip Kafka's companion quest completely. The way it's going at least, you get the choices to be angry at them at least. Unlike Ruan Mei.

Misha used a Stellaron to create a mutation in the dream world called "Penacony." This led to the birth of the monster "Watchmaker," which required the cooperation of several Emanators to defeat. He did all of this to save his sick grandfather. As the final boss of Penacony, he stood in stark contrast to the other forces in the story.
In the end, Misha gave up his own dreams and stayed in Penacony, becoming a new pillar of the dream world. The mutant dream, which baffled the powerful, came from a child's imagination.

Is Sparkle worth it for me? I have Seele as my main dps. Returning player and I stopped playing from 1.2 - 1.5 because luofo was pure garbage but Penacony got me into it again.

I don't know how it works in HSR yet as I'm playing catchup still, but once you have some strong DPS and can 90% - 100% clear MoC is it fine even with more powercreep? In Genshin I'm still using 1.0/2.0 teams to full clear abyss and only roll for characters I like
MoC 11 and 12 kinda ping pong between managable for well organised players and complete horseshit that only people who whaled the current banner can hope to 3*.

I feel like Genshin is fricked for new players because past events are simply erased so you can't even experience them and shit that happens in the story and new events start making 0 sense since you didn't play the past events.
Wrong, new players just have to do the story. Events don't chain off each other and chain off the actual main archon quest instead to prevent this and getting started is way easier than powercreep rail since one character can carry you for years.
Well I stopped playing a bit after launch and then returned for the 2nd summer event, never met none of the characters and all of them acted like if I knew them.
Don't feel like it anymore, would probably play it if I had access to past events or if I kept playing it.

Energy regen only gets better with time though. Look at all the top comps at the moment, most are using the Tingyun/Huohuo energy comp to pump out more ultimates.

i am an unironic Arlan main. I have built my entire team around using Arlan. I accidentally got HuoHuo to E2 by wishing on her banner to try and get Arlan Eidolons (didn't even get him to E6, lmao) and have specifically NOT levelled her healing AT ALL. I ONLY use her for the passive resurrection buff she gets at E2 so i can keep Arlan at next to zero health for maximum DPS without risking him actually dying. I have made her USELESS as a healer.

Forget about set bonuses you don't even need any in this game. Find any pieces you have with double crit stats on them and just put them on him instead. Any body piece with a crit main stat should be on him. Doesn't matter what set just look for any of those first and you will see a huge difference.

High level Gold and Gears is just pure bullshit, you either run some combination of Argenti/Herta/Himeko/Black Swan or you HAVE to take Preservation/Abundance to survive. My characters are level 90 but I can't clear the fifth nodes in either Golds and Gears or Swarm Disaster. In fact, I haven't even cleared the fourth node in Swarm Disaster. I can't seem to make any progress in Trail of the Pathstrider either. I feel like I've gotten two Resonance Interplays multiple times but it keeps saying I only got it once.
If you have an Argenti, go Erudition and just brute force everything. Otherwise higher difficulties pretty much force a really strong shielder/cleanser or going full preservation/abundance

I agree that he's pretty meh without his LC, but he can work with something like Cruising on the Stellar sea as a copecone
It's still better than anything genshin has gotten for free and that's enough to make them seethe. It's not about whether or not he is top of the meta.

something nobody will ever tell you is if you see the total gem of each patch and compare the 2 games they are the same, but genshin has to work for it exploring the world and doing everything, something those gays dont want to do and complain they have no gems
Genshin requires 10 more rolls to reach pity, has a different, much stingier pity for weapon banners, doesn't give as many freebies and generally takes longer to get currency than SR. Events are also temporary in Genshin compared to SR which only has certain rewards be temporary.
I hate that I can't roll on the genshin wep banner as a f2p, I just can never save up enough to guarantee it by the time they release a new character I want. In HSR I already have three fricking LC weapons as a monthly pass buyer since release, I have 0 premium weps in Genshin despite playing it longer...
I always do 10-20 rolls on a weapon banner when a character I kinda like comes out. That way I slowly inch closer to a pity for the weapon. It's how I got Ruan mei's wep.
The pity on both is exactly the same at 75/90 character and 65/80 weapon, only the LC banner is better 'cause it doesn't give you a 75/25 into a 50/50.
Arguably, Genshin is better because no Genshin character ever needs their weapon to do even the highest content while characters in Honkai are much worse without LC like Dan, Topaz and now Acheron.
Neuvillette's weapon is a 30% upgrade for his damage and so is Hu Tao's and you could do the hardest content with literally any character in HSR or Genshin, they're both children's games.
Star Rail’s Light Cone banner is 160 max pity vs 240 max pity for Genshin. Same 75% chance but then Genshin splits that 75% chance into a 50/50 for either of the rate up 5*s while Star Rail only has one rate up 5* on a banner.
I just wish half the women in this game weren't just wearing a chinese dress with a little flair and the other half just wears a jacket with hotpants.

That's my biggest complaint with the game alongside the "long hair must be parted down the middle" thing they do for every female. That said I appreciate that they attempt to make every character good, so I don't have to look at every female with boobs and worry that she'll be mediocre.

I think the thing with Firefly is that even if she's manipulating TB, it's also all genuine. Even though the things she said was probably half true, the emotions and sentiment behind them were genuine. She took the risk probably due to believing that TB would take action.
No one's ever really honest in this game. The only reason they'd have to lie is because they know they'll be rejected it they told the truth.
It's easy to see why Firefly went with us the way she did. For one, between being a hulking flaming mech and a cute girl, one is a lot more approachable. Not only that, but she probably wanted to do those date activities personally. In general, the Stellaron Hunters even though they are using TB, have a lot of emotional attachment and fondness for them too.
Sure, but I think it's a bit much to always expect the Trailblazer to dance to their tune, never being straight with them and always using underhanded methods to make them do what the Hunters want. If the writers had any intelligence, the Trailblazer should eventually rebel once it gets to a certain point.
Even if intentions are good, even if there's genuine affection, no one deserves to be treated as a puppet and no one should stand for it either. It's insulting and cruel.
I think that's what I like about the Stellaron Hunters, the contrast between their affection and cruelty. TB can at least feel pissed off at them and even flip the bird, considering how you can skip Kafka's companion quest completely. The way it's going at least, you get the choices to be angry at them at least. Unlike Ruan Mei.

i am an unironic Arlan main. I have built my entire team around using Arlan. I accidentally got HuoHuo to E2 by wishing on her banner to try and get Arlan Eidolons (didn't even get him to E6, lmao) and have specifically NOT levelled her healing AT ALL. I ONLY use her for the passive resurrection buff she gets at E2 so i can keep Arlan at next to zero health for maximum DPS without risking him actually dying. I have made her USELESS as a healer.

Forget about set bonuses you don't even need any in this game. Find any pieces you have with double crit stats on them and just put them on him instead. Any body piece with a crit main stat should be on him. Doesn't matter what set just look for any of those first and you will see a huge difference.

High level Gold and Gears is just pure bullshit, you either run some combination of Argenti/Herta/Himeko/Black Swan or you HAVE to take Preservation/Abundance to survive. Genshin's weapon banner requires up to 240 pulls to guarantee the weapon you want and doesn't have a proper pity system for that.
Genshin requires 10 more rolls to reach pity, has a different, much stingier pity for weapon banners, doesn't give as many freebies and generally takes longer to get currency than SR. Events are also temporary in Genshin compared to SR which only has certain rewards be temporary.

I always do 10-20 rolls on a weapon banner when a character I kinda like comes out. That way I slowly inch closer to a pity for the weapon. It's how I got Ruan mei's wep.
The pity on both is exactly the same at 75/90 character and 65/80 weapon, only the LC banner is better 'cause it doesn't give you a 75/25 into a 50/50.
Arguably, Genshin is better because no Genshin character ever needs their weapon to do even the highest content while characters in Honkai are much worse without LC like Dan, Topaz and now Acheron.

Star Rail’s Light Cone banner is 160 max pity vs 240 max pity for Genshin. Same 75% chance but then Genshin splits that 75% chance into a 50/50 for either of the rate up 5*s while Star Rail only has one rate up 5* on a banner.
