In super metroid you got speed boots/shine sparking etc. In SOTN you have to slowly jog or moonwalk everywhere and it's all so tiresome.

There's a fan-made patch for that game that automatically completes the seals so you don't have to bother. A few extra steps for a feature that shouldn't have been in the vanilla game to begin with, but when I played the game I used that.
Luck stat doesn't work in Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow, but you only really notice this in DoS due to weapon soul synthesis (all enemy drops in HoD do fricking nothing anyway and best equipment in AoS is available by searching the castle and not farming enemies)
Note: rings still work (Rare Ring / Soul Eater Ring) because they affect droprate by a fixed % and not tied to Luck stat
It’s based off the PSP version so no hammy PlayStation voice acting or ps1 enemy death sounds and after you do the spell inputs you can easily select any one of them on the touch screen on the left
also it’s easier to do the death skip you literally just hold left immediately as the cutscene loads
I'd rather eat glass than play this game like this

Yes but play with the patch that makes luck actually function or you'll be grinding 1000 of each enemy
I never noticed that Luck had no effect on soul drop rate, but I only ever 100% it once
