Well, it's a nice little, cheap game for me to play during work while I occasionally wiggle my work laptop mouse. I'm not saying it's the second coming of christ
vidya is dying because of nepotism, suits choosing profit over gameplay always, making the devs have to play it safe, chasing realism instead of proper art direction, as well as going from meritocracy to whatever these Black folk are even doing with pushing for equity, equality, diversity, virtue signaling etc.
>People like you are why vidya is dying. Get the frick out of my hobby, Black person
NOOOO YOU CAN'T PLAY A GAME FOR PLEASURE

Commercialization is killing vidya. The loss of the nerdy developer crew that consists of 5-8 people that do all the REAL hard work.
Big teams- big money- big publishers- the crutch of technology and graphics.
All that is killing games.
One indie game that repeatedly presses neurons with high efficiency made by ONE italian bloke who has experience in casino games is not killing gaming.
You fricking moron
Don't be pedantic, I like vampire survivors and even I understood what they were saying. It is a game with no intrinsic enjoyment from the gameplay, the only two decisions you make as a player are moving your character and selecting upgrades, everything else is automatic. The game is all about activating a pleasure response by improving the player's power at regular intervals. There is both a short term and long term sense of numbers going up and progress being made, which has no relationship to the player's actual skill.
You can say that's true of any game with an upgrade system, but most games have more than 2 avenues for the player to make decisions that impact gameplay

Uh-huh, so I guess the following games aren't really games:

Maybe moving around and upgrading is rewarding enough so that people stick playing it?
Idk, holding B for FF15 felt even more braindead than vampire survivos for some reason.

AKA playing the fricking game
this game is pure trash. I could make a better game with more levels, more maps, more items, more characters, more enemies, more mechanics and better balance. I could make that game in a few hours, maybe 3-4 hours at the max.
in fact, I already made a better game way before vampire shitviors even released. my game had maybe 5x the content but I realized how lame, how trashy and idiotic this asiatic grinder shit is and deleted all of the files. it would have been wrong to even allow someone to play it for free.
I am amazed that some greasy dago wop not only copied my idea but also dared to charge for this garbage.
No it's not. You're just a fricking moron who unironically falls for skinner box garbage because you're so fricking stupid.

I've been in your "hobby" since I was a kid playing snes. Frick off. If I want to play a moronic game that's fun while I work from home, I will
Nah it's definitely Black folk like you.

>skinner box
Buzzword. Explain your understanding of "Skinner Box" then name a game that can't be described as such.
Same as cookie clicker
>Same as cookie clicker
Cookie clicker doesn't have combat.
>It is a game with no intrinsic enjoyment from the gameplay, the only two decisions you make as a player are moving your character and selecting upgrades, everything else is automatic.
Uh-huh, so I guess the following games aren't really games:
Pac-man
Tetris
Sonic the Hedgehog
etc
Vampire survivor wish it was half as fast paced as pacman is, you giant moron
How it VS having slower movement make it "not a game" or "Skinner Box" or "Cookie Clicker" and all the other moronic buzzwords?
hyper mode is breddy fast

Not that guy but it’s made so the choices feel rewarding.
Guy who made it used to design slot machines, and you can tell 100%
false
>no intrinsic enjoyment from the gameplay

it's literally made by a slot machine programmer.

Where my completionist bros at?

The solo weapon arcana is a lot of fun to mess around with. Try it with the first belmont guy, with a maxed out tome you turn into a helicopter.
