it's damn good, it actually translates the way the stands work literally in game design
for example black sabbath is an enemy you can only get attacked by in the baked in shadows of the map, little feet shrinks you down in a gauntlet setting etc, its probably the best game adaptation of a manga ive ever played
DBZ Legend of the Super Saiyan on SNES if you can find a translated rom is fun if you can get behind card RPGs. The NES ones were also fun from what I remember. There's also Jump Ultimate Stars if you want a Smash Bros style game.
Try the Gigant Battle games if you're into platform fighters. The Pirate Warriors games are also decent

You could conceivably make a roster out of each major arc. There are a shit ton of characters to go through.
For the base roster, you would have all of the current Straw Hats and add some of the major arc villains (Buggy, Crocodile, Akainu, Kaido, etc.) plus some other major characters (Ace, Sabo, etc.). Then you can add in everyone else as DLC. With how many characters there, you could turn this game in Xenoverse 2 where you just add DLC for years.
We might not get One Piece version of FighterZ, but it would be interesting if Eighting made a One Piece game. They already did games for Naruto (Gekitou Ninja Taisen) and Bleach (Heat the Soul). Fighting game wise, they did Fate/unlimited codes, Marvel vs Capcom 3, and DNF Duel.

Bamco burned their bridges with Arcsys, so the only chance we have of getting a good looking One Piece game is if CC2 makes it and that whatever or whoever made them make Kakarot look like it did is long gone.
Since people have been really helpful ITT I might as well just ask: early 3D game set in arena where you drive a small ship around, collect balls and have to pass them through rings for points.
The balls form a string behind you, there are also power ups to attack other ships and steal their balls.

Yeah, I wonder what the deal is. One Piece is a pretty big franchise worldwide at this point thanks to the Netflix adaptation (for better or worse). Part of the issue may be finding the best developer to make the game. People bring up Arc System Works as a choice but they are still busy with Strive DLC.

I'd like to see what CyberConnect2 can do with One Piece. They did a good job with their Naruto games.
