There were so many things that were lackluster with V but 1UPT was honestly a change for the best, if any game had 1UPT before it would just be another entry in the series.
I want to love V. I love V stylistically, and having all the leaders show up in detail without going all cartoony and speak in their native tongues, also the move to hexes was great love it. But the gameplay just doesn't do it for me.
V spoiled players with Spock reading the quotes, Sean Bean just sounds like they plucked a random Scouser incel chav off the street and told him to read the lines for half a pack of ciggies.

I really enjoy 5, especially with vox populi (but without updated UAs), 3 is good, 6 is fun if you get a good map and can really get the ball rolling but I'm finding it really hard to get into 4. I don't know why but it just doesn't feel as good to play. Maybe its because I like culture victories?
What's the best mod for 4? Tried A New Dawn but it fricked up the world gen so I could never get a good map.
