Learn how to make powerful early wands, shit like chainsaw+double cast+any cheap spell.
Learn wand mechanics and spell wrapping like said.
Other than that: always have an escape route if shit goes south, focus on dodging/avoiding damage, and brave the fungal caverns for wands, potions and spells.
why chainsaw is op? I don't understand
>16 minutes to explain a single item
no thanks
low cost, 0 cast time if its the last spell and -recharge
It can be used to completely remove the delay from wands. It's pretty dumb.
You can also get the effect from certain spells (like mana-up) twice, although you don't need chainsaw for that.
chainsaw reduces the cast delay of any multicast block it's in to 0. it also reduces wand recharge time. combine that with spell wrapping to reduce recharge twice in once cast and you can turn almost any wand you find into a minigun
spell ordering and how shit at the end can affect stuff at the beginning is a huge thing to learn.
I learned from a really well-put together infographic, personally. any spell that REDUCES shit like cast time/delay can be paired with high cast/delay spells, for example.
a chainsaw with a decent ranged spell can create a rapid fire weapon
I also picked this game up recently, mostly because I found the Noita Ultimatum video to be mesmerizing and had to learn what the frick it was all about.
>uhh step-mina, what are you doing with my nuke?
void stranger or noita?
both games are 10euros
learn how to preserve your holy mountains so that you can edit wands more often to gain greater power
>randomly decide to pick this game up again
>camera is zoomed in way more than i remember it being
>tweak resolution in config
>doesn't change in-game
Well frick me then.
Why the frick is Ganker being spammed by ai shit?
What happened?
shitposting arms race between drawgays and aijeets. don't feed it and keep scrolling
bing released a new image gen service that blows current stuff out of the water, it can now into text and hands for the most part
It's almost like it's an emerging technology, luddite. Don't like it? Smash your phone right fricking now, hypocrite
>microsoft got hacked BIG TIME
>they needed a distraction from this so they let people use Dall-E 3 in-browser as long as you have a microsoft account
who knows how long it will be available. I'm using it to make a shit-ton of illustrations for social media posts at work
Minä a cute!
>pls to give advice for Noita
-be patient and take your time
-dont jump down places you cant see into well
-know how to make do with what you have early on, eg. multiple spark bolts being cast at once can do some suprisingly good damage sometimes
-learn the steve kill methods so you have more bravery to dig out early on
-dig/teleport bolt out of mountains if you can
Also
>accept that you will die to bullshit outside of your control, no matter how powerful you are
>tfw everything that can go wrong, goes wrong
the minute that shit went into the rock like that I would have left immediately. I love this game but it gives me ptsd and trust issues.
tablet kicks will save your life in the early game
THIS
BIND KICK TO SPACE OR SOMETHING, IT'S A CONSTANT THING YOU SHOULD BE DOING
i can't believe i forgot about kicking, it's like I don't even notice I'm doing it. Those dozens of kills with rocks and tablets just feel like normal gameplay to me
I'd like the game a lot more if alchemy recipes weren't randomized. Keep everything else the same, just have recipes that are hard set. You should be rewarded for acquiring knowledge across runs. It seems rather mean-spirited that they aren't. It's not like you're guaranteed the individual ingredients anyway
but they are? it's only the alchemic precursor, midas touch and healthium that are randomized, and thats threee out of hundreds of reactions
hell, they even added a system where things can mix straight inside your flask in the beta, along with more reactions, so alchemy and alchemical knowledge is even more important
GOG recommended Magicmaker to me the other day, and it kind of resembled Noita.
Have any of you tried it? Is it actually similar?
