These gays don't actually like video games so they couldn't give a frick how satisfying and visceral the combat is. Ganker is pretty much in line with reddit and normie video game journalists when it comes to TLOU 2. They only care about the story (regardless of if they liked it or not). The gameplay is a far distant second for them and if they actually played the game, they probably just breezed through it on normal mode.

You’re conflating animation detail with actual gunplay. The gunplay is mediocre but what makes it compelling to play is the immersive element of seeing how your enemy reacts through enemy ai, voiceover work and animation.

Haven't played it yet, so I have no opinion. I'm pretty certain I'll enjoy it though.
Every bullet counts on the highest difficulty, so that's something. Narrative-wise, the whole series is just misery-porn, so I don't really care about how obnoxious its homosexual themes are.
