I also backed this. I signed up to kickstarter specifically to do so. I ran a game of After the bomb last year and loved the setting and BIOE points. Combat in Palladium was a pain and unintuitive to my mind but the rest of it was fun.
palladium combat is a bit rough at times. love bioe points also. I will forever love my triple sized hamster with wings so he could fly. he wasnt useful in most combat situations but wew he was a good lil sneak. great at spy stuff which my dm loved so he got to shine in alot of missions due to it.
I aquired the original books and printed what was not avaliable.
I think ATB2E made too many changes and ythere is no easy conversion between the eitions.
Also you can see as After the Bomb and After the Bomb 2E come out how it increasingly was becoming mini-RIFTs despite RIFTS being a rippo-off of ATB's premise.

I am getting bad vibes off this Kickstarter. Normally I am a bit if a TMNT gay, especially the old stuff. However my understanding is that Palladium shit the bed on a Robotech KS they still have outstanding deliverables on. With that in mind seeing all the unknowns of this KS (Book covers, dice sets, minis) really makes me think this is going to end badly. Too much complexity for a company that is not handling complexity well.
Also the cost of the minis is nuts. We are talking a price per model that makes GW look charitable. Also these minis are not even mocked up in an image. Right there that is the red flag that tells me Palladium is being sneaky fricky bastards.

Books aren't even due to start shipping until September of next year and considering they have so many editions and variants, it will probably be mid 2025 by the time anyone sees this shit. And then it's going to be a couple of days before people realize there's a reason why no one has talked about this game or After the Bomb in the last 30 years.

I think the basic book will be delivered if it all works out. Anything special or collector edition or whatever is not going to show up.
One thing people are not thinking of either is that the economy is going to fall apart in the next while. Even if it is a short term meltdown like 08, it is going to really mess up any foreign shipping and manufacturing logistics. Companies will go under, inflation will crunch and make printing/shipping financially impossible. I am not investing in any crowdfunding that does not offer a pdf or some cheap zine that is no great loss.
There IS a completely new PDF coming of an introductory game, and that's only possible if backers stay backed. It will happen regardless of literally everything else.

Looking at their website they appear to be a company that specializes in vidya localizations and does some 3d modelling (among other things) on the side. And considering that they have an entire section about machine translation and doesn't actually mention any projects they've been involved in I suspect that their work lies mostly towards the shovelware Chinese lottery ticket simulator end of the spectrum.

Eastman and Laird brought out some old, supposedly never before released art that they made back in the 80s that's being squeezed into the books, but yeah they're just poorly coloring over a lot of it from the sounds of things.
