You can unlock medals on every stage by killing enough enemies and saving your team. After unlocking all the medals, you unlock hard mode with sunglasses. You also get to use the landmasters in multiplayer
You haven’t finished the game until you collect all medals, unlock expert mode, and then collect all medals again on expert difficulty to unlock the no vehicle on-foot mode multiplayer.
After that it’s just about beating your high score, which is still fun.

it's just a hard mode where Fox wears his dad's sunglasses. the ending is still the same and he doesn't wear the sunglasses during the credits
