I thought some of the bigger enemy fights with Torrent were fun, but none were explicitly made for it. I was really surprised that there wasn't even a Torrent only boss so we could use the mechanics in a well designed fight. oh well.
He made the dragon fights and fights against the Night Cavalry too easy
I’ve seen people claim they’re easier on foot but I don’t see how that is possible, once you get accustomed to their speed their limited movesets do not have enough variety and their AI is too dim to handle Torrent’s speed/maneuverability. Even the Draconic Knight guarding Leyndell couldn’t handle him, strangest case of everyone claiming a boss was so difficult in all of Souls because he couldn’t touch me.
Horse combat >Horse combat is shi-
Horse combat is inherently boring, I have no idea how you can have it be fun.
Aside from that, it's very weapon dependent. So many weapons have bad attacks on horseback, and incidentally these are weapons that would realisitcally be dogshit on horse combat.
You'll want to use a twinblade, a curved sword, a straight sword, a mace or a flail. No 2 hand shit.
That happened to me once during combat. I had about 5 seconds where I got really excited when I thought I had discovered a secret, I was sure I'd be able to hit a button and jump on that horses back. Cut to 10 seconds later, and I just sliced it to death and kept going.
dude I raped the shit out of the knight right off his horse, and he fell a billion feet. the game didn't know what to do so that horses just walked up and down the bridge
The presence of an open world gave the illusion the game was not just about dying to big bosses and walking/running to the big bosses. Normies like time wasting gameplay.
Uh, I don't think Torrent was technically a "horse" as we know them in our everyday world. This is a fantasy setting, and Torrent has features that are not common on regular equines. If you're gonna post, at least get your facts straight, ok?
and no horse sex
what's the point of the horse at all other than to artificially make the world larger
horse combat
horse platforming

Fire giant was 100% designed for torrent

Yeah, I was using an ultra greatsword and hit and run tactics were way too strong on Torrent.
you have limited moves and no iframes on torrent, its much easier to find openings on foot

>only raisins have horse lore
yeah there was. I had the knight's cavalry horse. here's a screen shot of my character
Did you find him under the truck by the SS Anne?
I'll keep my secrets. it's obvious nobody found out yet.
Never bring that up to me ever again
no that's an actual real screen shot

I took some screenshots of my character beside that horse too when it happened lol. It was pretty cool, it only happened once.
that screen shot was on the small bridge to lennes rise south east of the bestial sanctum
you guys didn't unlock the horse customization?
What was the purpose of Elden Rings open world? Literally no one can answer this.
exploration
adventure

>Not being able to customize the horse into best pony Rarity
Wasted potential tbh
This poster is Latza, confirmed.

it's obvious no horse can double jump you fat ass
Let it go. It isn't even interesting enough to meme about.
