How the FRICK do I do Chengou Project on Elite? I can't drift well on those shitty ridiculous tight corners just before and just after the start of the track. I am using Feisar
The first turn is meant to be near impossible without crashing. You have to approach it as far to the right as possible then full turn + break left with the correct timing.
For the chicane at end you must align yourself with the center so you have to turn less to avoid crashing.
If I remember correctly, you go:
Smooth, right approach.
Hard left.
Hard right.
I tried using the Quirex for the shit tight corner and just lightly crash the wall after a hard left turn and it seems to work but then I lose some momentum and the elite ai catch up and overtake me on that godawful banked curve. The chicane section is almost fine for me as long as I do two quick left right airbrake maneuvers but it's hit or miss and I always miss the last boost to maintain velocity. Frick this track.
You're using barrel rolls, right? That's how you're meant to outpace the cpu's turn cheats.
I do the barrel roll after the corner and more often than not I hit the walls of that banked curve or the wobblyness of that shitty curve makes me lose the boost momentum anyway. How do I even keep the nose of my ship down while banking left at the same time?

that's because 2048 is much easier in general.
2048's tracks are much wider than HD's and there's hardly any badly designed corners so it's just a matter of dealing with the ai and memorization.
Is omega collection worth it and is the ps4 version upscaled well enough on the pro?
if you haven't already played HD/2048 then yes. otherwise they don't add anything and have worse soundtrack. i don't know if PS4 even lets you make custom soundtrack like HD did on PS3

Bullshit, I've done both and A+ gave me much more trouble. 10 laps takes forever, even if you're going faster.
I platinumed 2048 once I realized there was an air drift along with air breaks. HD has marathon tracks you need to get a high ranking on many races in a row, none the less at a high speed with a narrow track and sharper turns.
the tracks in 2084 are much wider and easier.

You can mod it to be an exact carbon copy of any wipeout you want and its going to handle nearly identically.
As with the other anon said, BnG is pretty much the closest thing to Wipeout 1-3 and it fits the bill well enough, though they took the soul out of more unusual ships in updates. The HD-like physics mode is kinda whatever and is pending some tweaks in the future.

Funny, i was just thinking about the game earlier today. How does it emulate on rpcs3? My PS3 doesn't work anymore and it doesn't play great on Vita. In fact, feels like 2048 as a whole had some... input delay? I dunno, it never felt as good to play as any of the others.
