There have been many great shows that have real life accurate dialogue with tons of swearing in it such as the Sopranos. When Netflixvania does it it's just obnoxious. It feels like they're cramming as much swearing in there as possible in a half-assed effort to seem more mature and dark but it just does not work.
Because context matters.
As a castlevania fan, seeing Richter drop f-bombs is just weird.
But, that's the thing. The castlevania shows are made in spite of the actual fans of the IP, rather than being made for them.
No one I know that has played the games has enjoyed the show past like the very start of Season 2 at the most. Everyone I know that enjoys the show won't give the games a chance. It really sucks.
See, in a world where shit doesn't suck and people make adaptations for the fans, a Castlevania fan would be able to share the shows with people who don't want to play the games in order to bridge a common interest.
But, instead, the adaptations are SO FAR REMOVED from the source material, that fans of the game and fans of the show have no common ground.
Follow up, this happened to me with my wife. I really enjoy the Halo franchise for its story. When I found out there was a Halo show coming, I was excited because I could finally get her to enjoy the story of Halo, and we'd have that common ground in an interest we didn't have common ground in before.
But that's literally not possible now because the Halo show isn't that at all.

I'd do it sort of like JoJo, a season for each Belmont. Lots of embelishment where needed, but without changing the characters/root ideas (sort of like CV S1 seemed to start).
Season 1.
Adapts LoI. We are given much backstory to Leon and Mathias' early days, fighting for the Cross. Also where majority of the cool action's at. Throw in some supernatural bits to prep the worldbuilding, but mostly keep it real.
The latter half takes after Bram Stoker's Dracula intentionally mirroring some bits, but with more fights, paying homage to the Coppola's version at times. It's slower paced, with Leon gradually exploring the Castle (also a good opprotunity to sprinkle some lore in) and fighting, but also interactiing with characters and demons like the Succubi. His faith is tested along the way through these interactions, but he doesn't succumb to his anger and bloodlust and comes out victorious.
The finale is a subversion: When Mathias comes clean, he is given an opportunity at redemption (similar to Coppola's movie). However, at the eleventh hour, he brushes it away and doubles down on his debauchery, radically altering the ending. Death left at his wake symbolizes his rejection and a sort of a long-standing slap to God he did at the last moment when God extended his grace to him.
Alternative: Don't make a whole season, but a series of flashback episodes in a later season where it would fit better or maybe fill out the time for the period where nothing much happened in the original game (e.g. make it a story Simon tells during his travels).
(Some later seasons could also pay homage to other movies/media that fit best there while keeping their story).
Season 2 (longer?): CV3+CoD
Some things I would leave in (such as Trevor struggling at first but coming onto his own, the CoD introduced earlier, etc), but obviously most things need changing. Everything of S3-4 needs to go.
Don't want to lay it all out, but the idea of this story is people banding together to fight against overwhelming odds/their own destiny (Trevor being excomminicated and down on his luck, Hector/Isaac stuff).
Unlike Simon's adventure, which should be more low-key as a change of pays (and to differentiate the seasons more), this is an outright war on Dracula in an era where many lost hope.
This is also the perfect season to talk more about the Church and their role in CV, especially since Sypha is here. Don't make her anti-church, obviously, as she is their representative. This doesn't mean there can't be corrupt Church members, but the idea behind those should be "hard times break even holy men", and not "the idea of Church is corrupt" or whatever.
Essentially, this is Dracula at the height of his power, and his less "personal" interpretation, so the effort against him should be widespread.
I don't like the show's depiction of Alucard, but I also don't think he should be the perfect boy he is in the games necessarily: he should be struggling with his duality and fate, and maybe do some wrong decisions along the way at first, but the crux of the story is "everyone is dealing with hardship but it's your choice to succumb to it or be better", which is something Dracula failed to do. Alucard should be shwon as someone who successed where his father did not, in the end becoming the person from SotN.
