the dollar per game is the worst option out of anything else you could possibly get, even more so when you factor out the movie cutscenes.
You can connect a PS5 controller to a PC too, you know, anon. Oh wait you don't own a gaming PC.
there are no games that need dualsense and very few that support it, and there are superior options for plugging a controller into a pc than the ps5 controller. like dozens at this point
The only game you could play on that thing where I'd respect you and talk to you like a man is GT7. If you're playing that and have to charge a lot you're based. If you're playing spiderBlack person or any other modern shit you're a fricking homosexual
I'm playing Lies of P.
I charge my switch controller twice a year
I don't remember ever charging mine, it just lasts forever..
>??? no one took them away moron
oh, you're right. like when the PS2 controller was wired by default and when the more modern Xbox 360 had wired controllers as an option. i forgot, you can just plug a micro usb into the flimsiest port ever and just never ever take it out! thanks, anon!
okay, anon. i get your point. so i can just plug a usb c into the flimsiest port ever made by a human engineer and just never take it out! thanks, anon!
>flimsiest port every >calling other people pedantic

dude, have you ever tried plugging shit into that xbox controller port?
i never really used that dualshock 5 i borrowed from someone because for some reason, when plugged into my pc it just cut out at intervals, the haptics on tlou were quite cool tho
I have not seen a single person complain about the usb c port breaking, this was a big issue with the micro usb though >you pedantic moron
do you even know the meaning of that word lmao, how does that apply to me
I have used ps4 controllers exclusively wired on pc for a decade and never once has a usb port been the part to get issues.

I think he means the micro part that connects to the controller. I do the same and it disconnects for a second sometimes. The default behavior of DS4 windows would bring up the gamebar every disconnect and it made me very assmad
you call every usb port filmiest possible
because you treat your devices like a gorilla
I never had a usb port go bad on me in a decade other than random motherboard killing a port just being bad
>??? no one took them away moron
There's plenty of devices that either use the cable exclusively for charging or will refuse to work without a battery present despite not needing it otherwise.

My Switch Pro controller lasts like 60 hours, whereas my PS5 controller is like 4-5. The PS4 controller was just as bad, so you'd think they could improve it at least a little bit, but lol it's Sony.
i still play with my ps3 controller on pc. i don't give a frick if people didn't like the shitty triggers, or the mushy buttons, or the weird beanpole sticks, or the uncomfortable design, i love it
it's fricking miles better than the logitech f710 i bought to replace it
12h is still nothing, I'm not even playing games that use the dualsense's features a lot and the battery still dies way too fast. On a brand new controller... can't imagine what it'll be like in a couple of years.
I personally don't like xbox controllers, but it essentially all depends on your preference. They're both fine, and it usually just comes down to what you grew up with.
I haven't tried the elite controllers, just the regular xbone and the series x controller. They're both fine. I find the bumpers uncomfortable to hold/press personally, and I also had issues with the face button not activating at certain angles. But I think you can get the elite controller for much cheaper than the ps5 equivalent if all you want is back buttons.
literally the only thing stopping me from getting one
apparently they're fixing that in a couple of weeks so fingers crossed that they're priced the same as the current ones while those get shelved
i don't own a PS5 because i like playing video games.
Is that actually true or are you just poor and spend all your time here b***hing to seem hardcore?
i have a steam deck, switch, and a 3500 dollar pc
So that's why you post on Ganker all day? What's the last game you played?
suikoden 2 on my steam deck

It does have video games. Stop being dumb.

That's right I own a XBox one.
-posting from Edge.
I just got one yesterday and the right trigger feels weird. Like it doesn't click in properly.
you sure it's not because you turned on one of the trigger stop settings? theres a little knob on the back
Li-ion batteries were a mistake. I hate them and I hate looking at every device that uses them.
BRING BACK WIRES
>BRING BACK WIRES
??? no one took them away moron

usb c has been the standard for fricking YEARS now

I'm not going to work on the weekend

sorry to hear that. there will be no charging at all for next gen
>he still uses AA
>chinese
Im not putting that bomb anywhere near me
>have to make nuke batteries because people are scared of wires
>nuclear battery
>in the hands of civilians
what the frick?
bruh
its 3 fricking volts and probably the same amount of nuclear material in your smoke detector
People will hear the world nuclear and cancel it.

once every 3 months for me (no games)
plug it in, using anything wireless at home is dumb
Get a job
>playing on ps5
moron
you shouldn't be playing video games for 13 hours a day
I actually didn't play video games for quite some time and recently got back into them. Been having a lot of fun
If the regular dualsense is getting a 12h battery I wonder if there's gonna be a new batch of dualsense edges with a similar battery life
12h is still nothing, I'm not even playing games that use the dualsense's features a lot and the battery still dies way too fast. On a brand new controller... can't imagine what it'll be like in a couple of years.
how good does this controller feel compared to the xbox elite series 2
I personally don't like xbox controllers, but it essentially all depends on your preference. They're both fine, and it usually just comes down to what you grew up with.
have you tried both? I like the buildfeel of the xbox one
I haven't tried the elite controllers, just the regular xbone and the series x controller. They're both fine. I find the bumpers uncomfortable to hold/press personally, and I also had issues with the face button not activating at certain angles. I have the xbox elite series 2 and you are correct the face buttons fricking suck sometimes.
>he bought a snoystation
KWAB

imagine owning a gaystation, please do us all a favor and have a nice day
>buying sony pads
sony hardware universally has shitty battery, from their phones to their headphones and controllers, its all terrible.
> I charge myself 3 times per day
it doesn't sound bad.
