Natural part of aging, subconsciously you know you need something more meaningful but you haven't accepted it yet. Read more, work out, get a hobby, something like that. Maybe you'll come back to games one day, maybe not.
False
Fiction is produced with 1/10th the manpower, and 1/1000th the budget, but has a universe just as good if not better then 90% of videogames. Plus, novels can be anything you want them to be, and give a universe more vibrant then a video game ever could.
It's simply, statistically, and objectively better to be a fan of fiction novels then vidya. Vidya gamers waste away while novel readers rise.
moron.
OP you are just burned out. When the only thing you doin your life is videogames you will eventually burn out pf them. Just try to mix them up with something else
Same, late 20s, last couple years I just lost the passion for them. Really doesn’t help everything that comes out now is pretty mediocre at best, truly great releases are few and far between. But also I feel like it has just run it’s course for me, I’d rather be out living in my life in the world. Neeting was actually pretty miserable and I don’t know why people aspire to it having attained it.
I enjoy them but much less, and if I play a fighting game now for example, I don't feel motivated to git gud, and feel more moronic about them, I also reward myself procrastinating or just planning on something mentally and I think I have a pride problem. This to some degree makes things meaningless for me.

For me? It's Tokugawa Ieyasu. He may be a mainstream choice, but nothing beats the unification of Japan under a stable multi-hundred-year Shogunate.
Sexo with Tokugawa Ieyasu
