I don't understand, why release a multiplat Metal Gear compilation in 2023 when nobody cares about the franchise anymore? Surely the best time to do this would've been in 2013-15 when people were actually excited for what MGSV would entail. At the time, all there was was the PS3-only Legacy Collection.

Theyre already phoning it in with slapping MGS1 into an PS1 emulator and shipping it. I highly doubt they'll care enough to port MGS4 to pc for a second time. Wouldn't put it past them to slap POOP/POOP+ and Ac!d 1/2 on some psp emulator and ship it but then again they recorded the digital novels instead so they might just outright skip em. Maybe they might swing a deal with nintendo to let us gracious experience the dumpster fire thats twin snakes, in an emulator of course.

what's up with the steam listing for this thing? Each game is listed independently at $60, as well as the master collection package, making a total of like 5 or 6 listings. They're not selling them independently, but they show up independently with their own unique pages. but to buy it, it just redirects you to the collection page. Why clutter the store with 6 different things that all redirect you to the actual thing you're buying, which they all have in common and is just the 1 thing that is buyable? What the frick is this.
Each page had a unique page but after like 3 weeks they finally fixed it. I think what they meant to do was something like Halo MCC where different games are labeled as DLC so you can pick and choose in your library settings which ones you want installed but they couldn't figure out how to do it.

Why the FRICK would you want to play twin snakes? Getting past the epic cut scenes, lots of the dialog was censored or removed, all the accents are gone, the music fricking blows, and the MGS2 mechanics make it way to easy. Its a worse experience in everything except visuals.
