first post worst post. Oblivion shits on DD and you can't even go in first-person in DD2 lmfao. Capcom had all this time to get it right. I didn't even bring up Skyrim's improvements. Just the setting destroys DD's generic approach in every way.
He could have lied about everything. Oblivion was still Game of the Year.
>Just the setting destroys DD's generic approach
bro, do you seriously oblivion original?
Show me another Imperial City. Show me amazing walled cities with full NPC schedules at the time. The fact that lizard people, cat people, orcs and humanoids live in the same city. It's brilliance beyond what DD tries to do.
are we moving goalposts now?
oblivion did the generic fantast stuff because it was popular at its time. >Show me amazing walled cities with full NPC schedules at the time
radiata stories.
you can recruit 176 NPCs as well. >The fact that lizard people, cat people, orcs and humanoids live in the same city
they were enemies in radiata stories so they wouldn't live together.
Daggerfall, Battlespire, Redguard and Morrowind are the only TES games that matter. Everything earlier lacked vision and everything later lacked integrity. Bethesda is a shameless prostitute of a company.
Daggerfall is a D&D-type game simulator. A tech demo. Extremely boring randomly-generated world (yes, it is randomly generated, but it only has a single seed) with a couple of radiant quests for generic copy-pasted factions. Why would you play this over games like Arx Fatalis? Actually interesting linear games. Is an open world that important to you? Morrowind is also boring. It doesn’t fulfill the promise of an open world. NPCs don’t make use of the mechanics of the game.
Daggerfall and Arx Fatalis (dunno why you didn't say Ultima Underworld instead, at least something contemporary to Daggerfall) are completely different types of RPGs.
Daggerfall was a prototype for open-ended simulation RPGs like Mount & Blade more than anything. Daggerfall's attempt wasn't a success by any means, but it was undeniably forward-thinking and anticipating a new type of RPG which hadn't existed at the time. Mount & Blade is an amazing game so the direction was definitely worth exploring.
Also Daggerfall's focus on lore and the way lore was delivered - exclusively from in-universe writings - formed the core essence of TES as a franchise. Morrowind pushed that same philosophy to its extreme, but Daggerfall still originated it.
Woke is making everything about the current political climate, diversity and inclusion. Nobody calls japanese games with strong female characters woke because they're not there just to be superior to men like they are in western shit.
Of course it‘s going to be bad. lol
It‘s going to feature the same lifeless ragdolls, attacks only superficially connecting with NPCs, boring, boring gameplay with everyone turned into a damage sponge at higher difficulties, immortal companions, too densly packed open world and a Chosen One mainquest.
Play some good linear games instead. They are good for you.
haha, there's literally no way that game is going to be anywhere near good after seeing what happened with starfield. not a fricking chance in hell. it should be hilarious to watch though.
I don't give a frick about TES anymore. I always thought that Bethesda could at minimum make a Skyrim 2 that's just the same thing with better animations and stability but they can't even make a Bethesda-tier game anymore. It's over. 12 years for sci-fi garbage.
Imagine Skyrim, except you have to fast travel to literally every single dungeon and every map chunk is blocked by invisible wall. Because that's what TES6 is going to be.
desu, elder scrolls died when oblivion released.
and skyrim shat on its corpse.
the good thing is we're getting DD2.

>Oblivion
Stopped reading here, this is by far the worst game of the series and it was the first time todd ever lied to us.

Oblivion was literally made with the specific purpose of being as generic as possible
Should have seen what one dev wanted. Trust me they dodged a bullet.
QRD?
>worst game of the series
wrong
>first time todd ever lied to us
wrong again. todd has been lying since his first day at bethesda
Name a single thing Todd ever lied about.

FPBP.

contrarian mental illness
It's going to be woke as hell
All lore about the redguards will be overwritten with bix ood we wuz slaves
The leader of the dragon hunters was a woman in skyrim. People didnt care then.
Its (you) that became a snowflake
2011 was a much different time than whenever this is released, one character is easier to ignore than 100
nah you just became brain moronic over the years
nah i just won't play the Black person game
the woke part is not my problem, is the underwhelming gameplay and mechanics that the game will have
that's not woke, stop being moronic.

It will be a 1 year Nintendo Switch exclusive, screenshot this post.

It will be Hammerfell because Microsoft is chasing woke bucks. It will become TES's version of Wakanda.
Abandon all hope for TES.

Skyblivion will be better than Elder Scrolls 6.
