In OW you could just go into the custom games list and report anything that was slightly scurvy like the ERP rooms, XP farms, or just any bnet names you found and this would give you "credit" as legitimate reports for your account that made your reports count more. It was real fricking dumb. I haven't played OW in forever but I imagine they still have this stupid shit built in.

If I had put thousands of hours into an MMO it would be hard for me to drop it too. They are stuck on a sinking ship that censors users and is filled with garbage.

All of Blizzards bans are automated now and it's basically luck if your appeal gets approved. I got perma banned on my account for cheating due to mass reports from butthurt gold sellers getting mad that I took over their farming spots. I'm not alone in this and plenty of others got similar bans that I know for a fact do not bot since I played with them from the start of Classic. They got the same automated response I did. There's no real CS anymore.

Well part of me doesn't care. They basically freed me from their game that they've created too many issues to make it worthwhile. I miss playing with the friends I made back in Classic but overall it isn't worth it. I'll find a new game to play with them.
This is patently false. Zero perma bans have gone out. Blizz have confirmed that automated has only result in week comm mutes. Zero temp or perma bans have been doled out without case review.

You're right they did "review" it but it obvious they didn't. If you want the whole story it was my second account and I was banned for "3rd party unauthorized programs" which if was truly the case then they would have banned my other account as well. I even asked them to investigate my other account if they thought I was really running anything malicious but they kept giving me the same automated response until they told me they'd ban me for even asking.
