Seem to be, couldnt finish inside story due to just minigame or gimmick exhaustion.
Personally I don't enjoy the Mario & Luigi games because I don't find the writing particularly funny.
Outside of the humor there's really no reason to play these games. The story is incredibly boring, there's no serious scenes or significant character development, the combat consists of basically playing the same mini games over and over again.
Paper Mario is far better imo as characters actually have decent development, the story can have more serious moments, and the partner system is interesting and offers a lot of freedom in terms of gameplay.
Superstar saga is decent imo, i do agree that paper mario is better but its more of a traditional jrpg. Why people sleep on super paper mario is beyond me. The 3ds games can rot.
Cool story bro. You going to elaborate or...? How is this supposed to be a topic of discussion? Are you just treating this as your blog for some reason? What is the point here?
My biggest gripes with the game are the Peach escort mission, the bean fruit hunt, and those sections with the rolling cylinders where you have to electrocute Mario to get through.
To be fair that's true with a lot of RPGs. They're the kind of thing you replay every few years, not something you get the hankering to replay within a few months like a platformer or shmup or something.

I never really cared for this series. Too goofy. The art work for the characters looks so fricking dumb. Looks like some mind melting cancer off of cartoon network
I'm playing through the 3DS remake right now. It's a great way to experience the game again, but it's WAY too easy. I don't remember the GBA game being this easy. Looks great though at least.
The original is very, very easy, but just how very easy it is depends on quite a few equips you may or may not use. The last boss is unexpectedly hard, though. It actually took me a couple of days to get through it when I played it a a few months ago. It was like hitting a brick wall from a nice downhill glide.
At least to me Mario & Luigi games aren't made to be replayable, but to be a single experience once at year at most.
That's a fair approach too, a more simple and casual if you don't want to sink a lot of time in a JRPG doing a few playthroughs.
And yet all the sequels are worse in that regard

Great. No one else thinks this.
spbp
try again in a few years, op
Not OP and I don't know which "too much bullshit" he means, but it does get a little drawn out.

...and those gripes are? Give me something bro lmao I'm down to talk about this game here

I always thought this sounded like a demonic version of trick or treat.
Thanks. Now I'm never going to unhear that.
Invader Zim if Mario

Why were there so many fricking BEANS?
Beanbean Kingdom is the Mexico of Mario's world.
Maybe because there are more beans on Earth than stars in the solar system.
So you can flick them you moron.
it's a play on the mushroom kingdom, an alternative foodstuff people sprouting out of the ground.
why is it beanbean kingdom, and not just bean kingdom? not like there's mushroommushroom kingdom to match
what's the pun/joke?
That's Japanese for ya.
Frick this shit.
I kinda liked that minigame.
Yeah me too!
frick ANYTHING with a time limit
it's not funny nor quirky, just unnecessary shit test

You now realize that Alpha Dream trying to include enemies like pic im SSS were probably the impetus for le Mario Man-date.
