You got mega man 1 to 6, you got megaman 9, 10 and 11, you got your smash representation, you got tons of romhacks, fangames and clones, and yet you still feel the need to gaslight me that this fine soulful game is some kind of atrocity

I wish the stage layouts had more variety, I feel like I keep seeing the same chunks all the time
Most recent update added stage variants to stages 4 through 8 that can appear, like a vertical Blaze Heatnix section in Burning Temple, etc.
You really need to use high entropy to see massive differences without triggering a variant, though.

No, it's a fine game with a good soundtrack. But especially when it came out it felt dated and redundant compared to X. Giant sprites and uniteresting level designs also don't help the gameplay.
