She's immediately interested in you because she's already champ and literally no one can beat her. She's extremely autistic about battling and really loves doing it, but since she destroys everyone in battles no one wants to fight her anymore so she's bored and can't unleash her autism like she'd like to. She sees the potential in (You) and gets even a little pushy about supporting you to get stronger (just a little though, don't believe the yandere memes, she's even aware that she sometimes scares other people off sometimes).
There's a lot of details about her that are charming. As I said, she's a little pushy sometimes, but she really is just a sweet, spunky girl who wants a proper rival so she can fully unleash her battle autism. Despite being a top student and president of the student council, she seems a little lonely. She says her talent put up a wall between her and everyone else, and some students even seem to actively dislike her.
She also has some other autistic traits like the inability to read the room or tell how others are feeling. It's cute.
Her appeal is definitely way more "vanilla" than most other Pokegirls. Marnie, for example, is really popular cause her design is sexy, but no one is truly dedicated to her because she has no personality and people just coom to her. With Nemona, there is not that much superficial appeal in comparison, it's all about her personality and the fact that she grows closer to you over the course of the game where you get to know her better. That's why there's not THAT many Nemonagays, but those who like her are more dedicated to her.
