I hate Pokemon that couldn't naturally exist in the wild without the invention of human-made objects.
This applies to other similar objectmons that couldn't possibly exist naturally without human-made inventions like Voltorb, Vanilluxe and Garbodor.

>Vanilluxe
Not an ice cream cone.
Literally exists in lore as the reason ice cream exists, not the other way around.
Cope, I'm right, not you, frick Unoiva.
>No argument
Imagine being this fragile about Unova that you have to attack anyone that disagrees even a bit.
Note how I did not say your premise is wrong, nor tried to defend Garbodor.
It could have collected other things before keys were invented.
i just hate it when they grab some random object, slap googly eyes on it, and call it a day
voltorb and grimer are fine, klefki and the ice cream are not
So basically you love when they grab some random object, slap googly eyes on it, and call it a day.
Why are you replying to obvious bait?
>i just hate it when they grab some random object, slap googly eyes on it, and call it a day
Thats literally Grimer/Muk but ok
>Its fine when genwun does it cuz.....it just is OKAY?
Underrated 4d bait.
Klefki can unlink its arms, that's how it gets the keys on in the first place. It can absolutely exist without keys.
Right. And presumably, if it couldn’t find actual keys it would pick up some other random trinkets
There's something really unwholesome about that gif
God I love Hawlucha, look at his confused face.
Humans actually have influenced animal evolution in minor ways.
Voltorb and Vanilluxe could be like those moths that changed from white to black during the industrial revolution because of the soot clinging to trees. Voltorb took the form of an object that Pokemon would have good reason to fear, while Vanilluxe is potentially some kind of ambush predator and the prey is humans.
And there's other adaptations that aren't evolution, like hermit crabs using human trash as makeshift shells. Klefki could've held other things before keys were invented. Garbodor could've absorbed other waste like rotting leaves or shit before humans came along.
Is it a stretch? Yeah. But Pokemon have been shown to be canonically very adaptable, evolving through the use of manmade items. No reason to think that they couldn't change their form entirely from said items.
I don't think it's inconceivable that human activity impacted Pokemon in a bigger way than it impacted irl animals.
Klefki is super cute and you are mega jealous 🙂
They're monsters anon, not animals.
Pokemon aren't animals
Interesting, so in gen 1 you hate a lot of trade evos. because they only exists BECAUSE trades.
also count Primape and Hitmonchan. And of course magnemite!
Wouldn’t Hisuian Voltorb have existed before Poké Balls? Unless the anime is canon
Pokeballs exist in Hisui, anon. Voltorb simply adapted to look like the modern Pokeball over time.
"Objectmon" are fine as long as they are contextualized.
Voltorb isn't an actual Pokeball. it's a mimic.
Klefki isn't a ley. it's a fairy that collects keys.
I hate Varoom and Klink line for example.
>Vanilluxe
Vanniluxe isn't actually ice cream, but ice with snow on top of it. It's another mimic. It melts in the sunlight and if it melts, it dies.
I find it funny that turds on this board treat the games like nature documentaries and the pokemon themselves like actual creatures you could find in the real world.
They only do that when it suits their narrative, as evident by this thread.
What about pokemon that can naturally be found on the wild just because they make sense doesnt make them good.
Crazy how many gen 1 Pokemon are almost completely forgotten in later generations because they just suck.
