15000 pounds! They gave you a voucher for that much?!

Oh, I miss typed I meant they gave me a 1500 pound voucher. I put an extra zero by mistake.

ebay, could probably sell it for 1450

But that would be less than the value of the voucher

but then you could buy $1450 worth of cheese burgers which the voucher can't be used for.

My mum used to buy PC World vouchers from her union. They gave like 2% off, so you'd buy £100 voucher for £98 from the union. She amassed over £3,000 worth, and gifted them to me on my 18th birthday. The vouchers had a 6 month expiry. I never told her. Frick Currys/PcWorld/Dixons retail

The graphics card is good and it has a 1TB hard drive but I am worried that the processor is a bit weak. Though to get a computer that has a good processor, graphics card and a 1TB hard drive I would have to spend close to £2000 which the voucher would not cover.

That looks interesting and definitely something to consider. However, they do have very low storage and I don’t like the idea of relying on external storage I have had bad experiences with that in the past. Also PC world are all sold out of the ones that are actually good.

man, that is literally a non issue, almost all of those accepts 2.5inch drives for a secondary drive. And even if only accepts m.2 drives a 1 tb ssd is 50 bucks https://www.currys.co.uk/products/samsung-970-evo-plus-pcie-m.2-internal-ssd-1-tb-10191901.html

It does sound like it would all add up though because you would need to buy external storage, a monitor, processor, graphics card etc.
Are you really saying that would be better value than say this?

A proper top-of-the-line gaming desktop (and a good monitor to go with it) is in the region of 6000 right now, or quite a lot less if you don't go for that 4090.
