I inherited a PS5 from a family member and Ganker was right for once. This thing has no fricking games. I’ve played the heavy hitters like bloodborne, Spider-Man and GoW (boring game)
Are there any hidden gems you recommend? I like action but I’m open to anything besides horror
Sony obsession is a recognized mental illness. Seek assistance.
Did you read OP? I inherited the PlayStation. Didn’t even buy it. I really just want some game recs. I figured starting with negativity will attract more clicks because regular vidya threads just die quickly
God of War
God of War Ragnarok
Horizon Forbidden West
Final Fantasy Remake Intergrade
Monster Hunter World
Spider-Man
GT7
>God of War
Boring QTE shit

Is forbidden west actually worth playing? I found the first game incredibly bland with a forgettable story
It's more of the same shit but 'prettier' and an even worse story.
It doesn't matter. Obviously, merely having it in your possession is shameful. You must dispose of it and let your family member know what you thought of their shameful gift.
You got it from a dead family member? All he left you in the will was a PS5?
GoW is one of the greatest pieces made in this medium and if you honestly find it "boring" then you're a fricking chump. Go play Mario and Pokemon.
GoW was dreadful man I don't know how you can stand that awful camera and the moviegame handholding
I liked the characters and story but hated everything else about it. Would watch a TV show like TLOU about it but would never play the game again, just a miserable experience
Is this a joke? The game was holding my hand every step of the way.
If you said this about spider man absolutely. God of War combat is fun even if I understand the complaints about boring story.
The original GoW formula seems better, it seems to get to the good stuff a lot better in terms of pacing and combat.
Ghost of Tsushima
This. Incredible game
for like 2 hours
They removed the w101 from PS+ but why
Death Stranding
Ghost of Tsushima
Uhhh
Any game you want to physically own without being tied down to a digital client.
OP here, I’m open to anything which isn’t exclusive. I’m already well aware of the 5 exclusives this thing has
>I’m already well aware of the 5 exclusives this thing has
That's being incredibly generous
Maybe try street fighter 6. the PS5 seems to have the lowest input latency. Might as well get in with this entry. There's probably enough content for single player only if you don't want to do rank grinding.
demon souls I guess
I don't have a PS5 though lmao
>inherited
just to make sure, you mean they died and gave it to you in their will or they just gave it to you as they had no more use for it?
The latter
give it back
>Are there any hidden gems you recommend?
Celeste
Just downloaded… thanks
Hahaha sorry just too scary
>Open to anything besides horror
That's your problem, pussy. Try the ff16 demo.
Save a bit on your next two paychecks and invest in a PC. From there, look through the games you have available to you on Steam, GoG, Itch, PC Gamepass, Epic Games and emulators and ROMs for older games. Your PS5 can be used as a Blu-Ray player so long as you were gifted the one with the disc drive.
Do you like anime games? If so there's Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, 13 Sentinels, Gravity Rush 1 & 2, and Gundam Maxiboost On. Try to only get these when they're on sale as it happens rather often. Last one is a 2v2 arena fighter that requires PS+ for multiplayer so you should only get it if you're a big fan of the IP.
Maybe the latest Ratchet & Clank but it's about to get a PC port.
The Last Guardian, Ghost of Tsushima and GT7 for other Playstation games.
FF16 is later this month. Try the demo first.
There just isn't much. Most PS4 games of note were third party titles that received ports by the end of the system's lifespan. The PS5 suffered from the pandemic and chip shortage so everything was cross-gen or fully multiplat until this year.
>Do you like anime games?
No. But gravity rush games are great and I may replay them. I’ll give FF16 a try
Send it to me if you don't want it.
> inherited a PS5 from a family member
Sell ps5, pay tax, and then buy switch.
did they die? or get bored with it?
tendies are getting really desperate
Final Fantasy XVI and Final Fantasy VII Remake
You can be like my moronic friend and literally just use it for For Honor
aren't those all PS4 and PC games?
you'll have FF16 for about 6 months exclusive soon anyway, that looks pretty good. after that it's back to collecting dust. it's been this way since Bloodborne for PS.
