I just buy Citadel paints. I actively discriminate people who uses other brands.
Citadel is the right path. Pots lead the way.
Now, cope.

Okay moron
Why should I care that you deliberately make your own life worse?
*rips a greasy broccoli fart in your mouth*
I'm always amazed that lifting the paint in an exact amount from the pot with a brush and just giving it a firm press when you clean up are such insurmountable tasks for folks. Dropper pots are worse; you always waste way more than you need.
The answer to the question that you're pretending to be bewildered by is that many Citadel paints require shaking to mix up well because they separate very often. Paint coats the top of the hinge when you do so and there isn't any meaningful way to prevent this from building up in bad places after continued use.
Quints of truth.
>not using a palette
You're a fricking animal
I just buy Winsor & Newton paints. I actively discriminate people who uses other brands.
Winsor & Newton is the right path. Tubes lead the way.
Now, cope.
I buy FolkArt paint. It's those little bottles of paint you find in the arts n crafts section at Walmart. Never once had an issue with paint going on too thick, can be thinned into washes or used to highlight and drybrush too.
I just use some acrylic from the local crafts store. Way cheaper and easier to test
I just buy Hammerite paints. I actively discriminate people who uses other brands.
Hammerite is the right path. Paint cans lead the way.
Now, cope.
Leave all our minis outside for 100 years and they won’t be laughing based Hammerite bro
I make my own paint with pigments imported from the himalayan mountains
Enjoy spilling and shilling, OP.
GW yellows and whites are so awful lmfao.
Averland Sunset is fantastic, anon.
So are all the GW reds.
Some browns, too.
And thats it, imo.
Yep. Still buy Citadel for the red shades, since no other company I've tried has come close in quality. The rest, I can take or leave. If I just need one color Citadel is usually more convenient, since nothing else except AP speedpaints is stocked in a 50 mile radius; if I need several colors for a new project and can justify shipping, it's usually Vallejo.
My 3000pt Necron army has chrome and teal with a lot of brass accenting. I use citadel Brass Scorpion for this, I almost never see brass scorpion recommended despite it being wet enough to need minimal thinning and great consistent coverage. I fear them discontinuing it because I’ll have to move to a shittier brass
I use vallejo game air silver/bronze. The easiest paint I've ever applied, goes on perfect every time. Shit like leadbelcher feels like it dries on the brush before it ever reaches the mini.
