When you click "play" and there is that supremely comfy scene in the throne room where you meet everyone and the first villain of the rogue gallery starts shittalking.
Started playing this a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty great from the start, but if you want the part it gets really interesting, it's just after you defeat the stag lord amd start kingdom buulding. Its kinda shit but don't put it on auto, put it on the easiest setting. The game is very interesting with it around and what you do in there affects the story amd vice versa. Just finished the third chapter and the weight of my choices from the previous two really led to a big "oh shit oh fuck" series of events for me. Really turned me around on the game. Just know it's a slow burn but the investment is well worth it
I'm struggling to finish the final(?) quest, not the quest itself but just doing the thing. My party has been parked outside Threshold for the past month. Dunno, I just can't be bothered to finish it.
same happened to me
i just can't finish it and i don't know the reason.
it's weird because i was on the same situation with Divinity 2, pillars of eternity 1, and Kingmaker. When i was close to the end i just couldn't finish them.
>spoiler
He blows Areelu out the fucking water, she just has that regenerating health bullshit and unavoidable 50% miss chance to prevent players from 1 shotting her. Also, his theme fucking slaps.
I rushed past it as fast as possible and deleted areelu with corrupt magic + absolute death. At that point I was just glad it ended, I felt no sympathy for her.

I'm like that with most games not just rpgs, once I know there is nothing after I just can't be bothered.
I'm brute-forcing Kingmaker right now. 180 hours in two weeks. I'm definitely playing WOTR after it. I don't think I've been this engrossed by a game since Bitcher 3. Why the fuck did I even sleep on this? How can you possibly get bored of Acid pit shenanigans?
It's rough. The generic classes that I love aren't even close to being relevant in damage, and in this game, your character has to do a lot of damage.
[...]
Nice, fake fan guy. Except the actual spammer only hangs out in JRPG threads...not CRPG.
When does Pathfinder: Kingmaker get good?
I'll be 100% honest. It becomes good when you take all the existing knowledge you have about the game and events and make the "right" choices. That first playthrough is absolutely brutal and filled with mistakes.
It's really odd. I can easily see them adding chapter 3 things for Gd and devil, strange that they haven't been in originally. Choosing all 3 "please come back to us" options for Staunton prompts him to say something along the lines of "you really mean it don't you". From there just have him join you as a companion and an earlier meeting with hal
Their chance was the 'Enhanced Edition' which turned out to be just a screenshot mode for the two women on the Owlcat team to take pictures of their pets for Reddit upvotes. The Citadel will be a 2hr long DLC that wont add anything of substance outside of fucking around in Kenabres, and nobody will care about it anyway because BG3 will be out by that point.
>don't worry Citadel DLC will fix it
Are you memeing or have they actually said something about fixing Devil?
I'm currently torn between three paths for my first playthough but I'd ditch all of them if Devil was actually a legit path. It's bad enough Lawful Evil was basically just being a retard in Kingmaker, but it's a fucking crime that Devil got shafted on the one game it could have been amazing.
Huh? I remember Lawful Evil working pretty well in KM
>meet craft NPC in throneroom >LE option is to execute them for no reason like a paranoid retard or refuse their services >companions come to you to talk >LE option is to immediately end their quest chains
There were some good LE moments, but a lot of the LE choices seemed to be just actively choosing to miss out content. I'm making it work but rarely by chosing LE dialogue.
The Hellknights amounting to a generic bonus building was lame as shit too, and I'm not talking about the cringe backer quest hellknights who are obviously insufferable in any alignment playthrough and still treat you like a retard even as an Antipaladin of Asmodeus.
that's like a notoriously stupid individual good/evil thing for anyone in the entire game though, I'm talking on a campaign level LE worked fine. And Hellknights are just retarded, no LE would accept their authority. LE means order existing for my benefit is good, not order good at any cost
It's the ones like CN where the fact that you're the stupid king no matter and can't just bail that really just don't work
They haven't said anything about the DLC other than it being about rebuilding kenabres. Keep your expectations quite low since the team is occupied with rogue trader. The DLC content for their previous game will not be their priority.
Great game, but the devs really need to do something about their openings. >tutorial area is usually piss easy then the difficulty immediately spikes once the training wheels come off >introducing swarms at level 2 who behave entirely different in combat compared to normal foes is evil >lore is sometimes completely impenetrable
they give you the ability to hover over lore shit in text boxes. but sometimes they do a poor job of explaining exactly why events are unfolding because of some lore tidbit related to the rich history of the kingdom of Cheliax and its relationship with the holy order of buttclaw >oh you just got attacked by demons outside the city? No cause for concern, go enjoy the festivities for about 2 minutes until all hell breaks loose >every time they give you the worst companion first >pacing? fuck you, massive demon cultist lair at level 3, don't ask us why the guards haven't discovered it even though it's right below the city guard barracks >you're facing the demon in charge of attacking the city, some weird animations happen, screen cuts to black, you're suddenly in a tavern, "Oh you passed out and we carried you to safety across the city. How? Don't ask question" >first vendor in the game, you have 60 gold pieces, he's selling level 2 items for 10k gold pieces
I don't consider Trever a companion to be honest. None of the "secret" companions should be to be honest, they're non characters with often ruined builds
The mongrel merchant is actually in the crowd at the end of the tutorial dungeon, she doesn't carry anything of value but you will have enough to afford anything in the store from selling all the cultists shit.
You should be swimming in gold by midway through act 1 after the tavern and selling some of the useless magical items. If you have no kineticist then the hat for them is a free 7k gold
>you're facing the demon in charge of attacking the city, some weird animations happen, screen cuts to black, you're suddenly in a tavern, "Oh you passed out and we carried you to safety across the city. How? Don't ask question"
Out of what you mentioned this is the only thing that actually bothers me. They could have made that scene much better by showing people retreating.
I had to take a few months off before picking it up again because I either wanted restart to try a different build or play a different story path like taking Wenduag instead of Lann. Playing through Act 1 again and again was driving me crazy.
The writing is so fucking obnoxious. It's like whoever wrote this game has only consumed marvel movies for the last 10 years. Everything is some shitty ironic quip, it's terrible. I have no idea how people enjoy this game.
>What does Ganker think of this game?
it's great, i am loving it so far as a pally. got a 2h greatsword combined it with divine bond, haste and sword of heaven and watching everything die in few hits is cool. Also succ Best girl, love her cutesy Anime girl personality.
There is literally no downside to Elemental Specialist, is there? Given that any move not spent attacking is a move wasted, I don't understand why anyone would pick any other wizard.
i created a custom Sorcerer guy and he pretty much is better than her in every way, Atleast i don't have to rest every time for spells i forget to put in her slots

Ability that allows you to cast a spell in different ways with the trade off being you have to use a higher spell slot. For instance, Quicken Spell allows you to cast a spell as a swift action, meaning you can cast one Quickened spell and one non quickened spell in the same round.

huh neat. but which one increases the damage on Firebalss tho, Maximize or bolstered?

Maximize allows you to always use max damage. Bolster increases by a flat amount.

Spontaneous casters need a full round to cast any metamagic'd spells, except quickened obviously.
How does multi classing work in Kingmaker? I really want to make fun hybrid classes but there's a 20 level cap and the really distinctive stuff is late into each classes skill tree. Is this game more about team synergies and buffs rather than hybrid builds that you can make interesting and unique niches for?
Hybrids are best done as class already designed as one, such as Magus which is basically a Fighter/Wizard. You could use a prestige class like Mystic Theurge (Divine + Arcane caster) or Eldritch Knight (Melee + Arcane) but they sacrifice a lot for the privilege. Multiclassing is best for taking a level or two of one class and taking the rest in another or maybe combining with a prestige class like Monk 1/Druid 20 or Paladin 2/Sorcerer 8/Eldritch Knight 10 for CHA to saving throws and 8th level spells but a pure Magus(Eldritch Scion) with the Celestial bloodline is very similar with full class abilities you'll wish you had like enchanting the fuck out of your weapon, casting spells through a melee strike, fighter training [rare], and CASTING IN ARMOR. The only cost is that you only get up to 6th level spells.
Overall Pathfinder tried hard to make single class builds not just viable but desirable compared to the multiclass minmax fest that was D&D 3.5. However that won't stop some people from theorycrafting some illogical monstrosity no normal player would want to deal with starting from level 1. Also multiclassing can do fucky things to your base attack and saving throws if you're not careful.
I'm terrified of dipping. I have autistic fomo on 20th level perk even if I know it's shit. I had no idea what to do with Octavia in Kingmaker because she comes already multiple classed. The only character I actually used guide for leveling because I was of afraid of making her deadweight.
Thanks anon, looks like I'll have to give a better look at equipment and feats the next playthrough I do. There's a lot of classes already so there's a lot of choices so it's not too big a deal
You basically throw together classes with similarities like casting type, or main stats. Prestige classes allow easy multiclassing as well. A really fun one I have going is Eldrich Archer 2, Scoundrel 8, and Eldrich Knight 10. Its an archer that specializes in casting ray spells, and with the Eldrich Archer levels he can cast them through his weapon while also getting like 6 normal attacks with sneak dice. Can self buff with Hurricane Bow and has other spells like Haste and See Invisibility Communal for team buffs. My main is a melee Sorc, basically a Sorc/Eldrich Knight/Dragon Disciple (with a Monk dip ofc) using Greataxes that tanks and self buffs with arcane spells. Some classes have great capstones that make going pure appealing, and then there are classes like Kineticist that have very poor synergy and are way better off staying pure.
I was thinking of dipping into some bard levels at the start of my playthrough as a tower shield specialist for the buffs but from this advice, it sounds like a barbarian class to dip into (for armored hulk) seems to be better because of all the damage bonuses alongside the Tower Shield AC and mobility bonuses. But thanks for the info, I'll do some experimentation in my second playthrough since I find the system really interesting. I'm really glad that class stuff comes up outside of combat too
There is literally no downside to Elemental Specialist, is there? Given that any move not spent attacking is a move wasted, I don't understand why anyone would pick any other wizard.
Elemental Specialist takes one more opposition school for a total of THREE and its stuck with only taking Evocation as a focus. That's fine if you ONLY want to blow shit up but you are missing out on a bunch of very useful spells. Thassilonian Wizards can be similar but gain far more spells slots rather than turning every energy spell into a single element, but you can't choose your opposition schools. Some people prefer Exploiter Wizard for reasons.
If you just want to nuke everything go Sorcerer. You can even take an elemental bloodline to gain the same "Turn Every Energy Spell Into X Element" power on top of the large number of spell slots and spontaneous casting. Being able to take a second bloodline with mythic feats is also amazing. Hell if you're dead set on being wizard-like just be a Sage Sorcerer and take whatever elemental bloodline suits your fancy when you get mythic feats.

But does it allow you to turn half the damage into non-elemental, so it can't be reduced?
>Kingmaker >Filtered by swarms >Try it again few months later >Meet lady alone way out in the woods >It was a trap
Never touching these gay games again
Enjoy the role playing. If you're told the island with the spooky lights will kill you, don't go, or come prepared. The only real thing that annoys me is that there's a lot of hidden information. Like how was I supposed to know trolls can only be killed with acid or fire before the troll quest line and despite the very detailed bestiary and enemy Stat screens
Yeah I had to look it up. I don't mind though since it's part of the role playing. If I was being stupid and die from that sort of encounter, it's again just part of the role playing. Rules of the world and all that
Didn't they change it so that swarms can be killed by normal weapon strikes outside of higher difficulties? I had no problems with them at release from dealing with them in table top and knowing what they were resistant to.
I complained about the companions having cringe dialogue when I started playing the game but surprisingly some minor NPCs do have good dialogue. It's just that actually competent writers were clearly given lesser significant portions of the game to write and those PC writers were given the spotlight. It happens all the time in gaming industry and even in academia.
>Is autoleveling companions viable at unfair
absolutely not unless you're playing a solo build and soloing most of the time. You can use them just fine but you had best plan out their builds.
Oh well thanks. The problem is when I plan out their builds, I tend to spend q a significant amount of time in analyzing the choices instead of actually playing the game. I remember in one of my sessions of kingmaker, I played for an hour and in that I had spent 30 mins on character leveling screen.
I think it's a fantastic game, but because of how much freedom you have in your choices, it's very easy to dig yourself into a hole of frustration. But once you understand enough of the mechanics (and there are a lot) it plays very smoothly.
>All your companions are some shade of stereotypical, unlikable or retarded
Even the hellknight, the "best" one can still be relied upon to be lawful stupid
just use her to spam hexes for now until you get Ascendant Element fire, Red salamander+ ring of pyromania. Also give her a crossblooded sorcerer(gold+brass/red Dragon) dip for extra fire damage
Her Slumber hex is amazing and practically win fights by itself AND never runs out of uses. She also quickly starts getting fire based attack spells along with healing magic even with her default build.
Spam hexes like slumber, evil eye, protective luck, etc
Give her ascendant element fire once you get your first mythic ability, then in act 3 you can buy some rings, one gives her access to fire spells (particularly hellfire ray) and the other one increases the damage of fire spells, that's when you start making her an actual caster
>hexes
Oh right. I've never been one for casting debuffs and afflictions. I'll try doing that now.

All their DLCs till date for Wotr are shit and all DLCs except one for kingmaker were shit. I don't see the benefit of waiting for the season pass since it will most probably be bad.
How much better is it compared to the first game? Are the builds the same?
I havent bought it yet cuz I havent finished the first game, but is the story even related
It's much better than the first game, if nothing else for the fact that it's still getting patched and bugs get fixed. There are also a lot of quality of life changes, and you can actually rotate the camera. The builds are going to differ because you have to plan around your mythic path.
it's the same game but with more classes and mythic feats, imo it's better. >but is the story even related
no. aside from some few callbacks it's completely standalone
> Jubilost not being an annoying prick
Still on kingmaker but this is something I never thought I'd see. At least he's really competent so he gets to talk shit
I actually do like him quite a bit. He's a really funny dude, and he's good at what he does. He talks like hell sure and that can be a little annoying, but he's way more based of a character than I expected him to be
I had to check a YouTube video to find out where he spawns because I cleared everything already, but needed another demon blood and magical hide for Areelu's cloak
More classes and stuff means there's more build options. And being able to rotate the camera is nice. Some things are lacking compared to kingmaker though, like lack of more alignment specific dialog, though it's replaced with mythic path specific stuff. I also like the setting of Kingmaker more.
Story and writing is better in kingmaker, feels like a fantasy game. Gameplay is better in wrath, but the writing is dumbed down to appeal to people who don't like fantasy
I like the idea and to be honest, there isn't that many new cprgs.
However, managing a huge party and having a fucking time limit kills this for me. But beggars can't be choosers I guess.
God I'm on such a fucking ego trip right now, it's the best. As a Paladinfag, the amount of power fantasy shit I'm on is great. >get an Angel's longsword >bitches constantly wet >get angel wings and a halo >bitches even more wet >the queen and succubus are soaking >smite evil harder and harder
Will try Azata next once I do Angel, but from the Azata dialogue I've seen, they seem sort of obnoxious and annoying.
Azata are literally disney princesses. You even sing songs with Arue several times if you romance her as Azata. It's played so completely straight it goes from being cringe to kind of cute, so I'll give the devs some credit for that.
It's also hilarious how exasperated Regill gets at you for being a song singing hippy.
based. Fellow paladin chads do you get extra romance dialogue with Arue in the angel & Azata path? love hearing the asian bug guy call her a Shepardess because of how much she is attracted to me
No. Azata and demon are the only ones with unique dialogue for her. And they're both fairly limited. You don't get to pull a bouquet of flowers from behind your head for her as trickster or make bad things never have happened for her as aeon or nothing. Disappointing.
>And they're both fairly limited
Hell no demon isn't limited, it's easily the most reactivity involving mythic paths and romance in the game, besides buck breaking Sosiel (which is also demon only)
nope. Azata doesn't have anything Romance specific for Arueshalae, Demon has a whole sequence where she tells everyone how much she loves you, Angel just has one dialouge where he go ''i see the light in Arueshalae soul'' but it has no bearing on the romance
What would be their possible next game in the pathfinder universe?
runelords or Hell's vengeance.
No. Azata and demon are the only ones with unique dialogue for her. And they're both fairly limited. You don't get to pull a bouquet of flowers from behind your head for her as trickster or make bad things never have happened for her as aeon or nothing. Disappointing.
>or make bad things never have happened for her as aeon or nothing
but you can
>Aeon gets tons of unique ending for everyone >other paths doesn't
If only OwlKeks didn't run out of time when Making Act 5 i am sure every path would have had a unique ending slides for each companion
Enjoyable. The mythic paths allow for some fun roleplay in addition to your class choices. Core+ is tedious as fuck though. Man I hate how the game just throws endless long duration debuffs at you that stop mattering the second you get a buff that gives you immunity.
how long do i have to wait for the queen to show up? i have already talked to Arue in the jail, did Regill quest and killed Camellia and she still hasn't shown up yet.
At the end of act 3? You have a grace period of couple of weeks to sort shit out. If you've done all the sidequests and areas just complete research and just do the crusader shit for a while. Build teleportation circles and shit.
Chaotic is also the 'stupid/naive/nonsensical' option too often. Like the lawful option is 'extrajudicial execution of this criminal' and the chaotic option is 'none of my business if this murderer wants to go around murdering people in my fortress, let them go'.
Owlcat really needed to work on having sensical choices for each alignment instead of just injecting some retarded shit to fill out the dialogue choices for alignments which don't make sense in the circumstance.
>Chaotic is also the 'stupid/naive/nonsensical' option >complains that chaotic options are chaotic
I don't know what you expect from an alignment called "chaotic"
>There is nothing unlawful about these things. They are to the letter of the law
in most nations in Golarion it isn't lmao. yeah i am Sure LN or LE would allow normal peasants access to scrolls and enchanted weapons
You can just say you're a fag, you don't have to type out chaotic neutral, no reason to make people infer your actual meaning.
LE is the alignment where you bend the law to suit your needs you idiot >b-but Regill
is just a Lawful Neutralfag who is just too cruel and unnecessarily evil

small minded, i will not waste my time explaining to you how to design a proper LE character here, come to /t/ sometime and i might help you, if not maybe stick to video games.
Most people misunderstand law and chaos, I realized this as I was reading Three Hearts and Three Lions the other day and it was talking about the goblin slaves the chaotic ruler had. It makes sense because people nowadays are areligious heathens, but in Gygax's Catholic mind Law was about submitting to the Almighty God who endows everyone equally with natural rights, whereas Chaos is becoming your own god and forcing your will on others.
Hot tip: turn the difficulty down, the only people who are gunna gatekeep difficulty in that game have been minmaxing in pathfinder for 15 years and got banned from every table they've sat at.
I really wanted to like pathfinder because it had a bunch of classes I wanted to try like magus and alchemist. I just can't though. It's not even the pozzing, it feels bad and wrong to play.
the moron bug in the cave in act 3, in the quest for the sword or whatever can fuck itself too, installed toybox because of that fight and just deleted it.
I got to the end once, got bored and now every new run i make i get to act 4, and it's such a shit and tedious act i always end up stopping before coming back in a month and going again on a new class until act 4.
>completed all the mythic paths i was interested in (Angel, Demon, Legend, Azata and Lich) >just now doing a gestalt Oracle+paladin build and killing everything in one round at Hard
Gestalting is so fun bros, you guys should give it a try too.
Yeah, that's what i was doing, it wouldn't work no matter what class i tried mixing with a crossblooded sorc, it would break feats and all kinds of shit.
Sad i was hoping you had some more stable mod i wasn't aware of.
Nta but i have a mod for you that gives you the same experience as a gestalt anime character in just one overpowered class
https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderwrathoftherighteous/mods/398
oh if you're talking about how i endure multiple playthrough than i only play it until i get to act 5 and then resume the playthrough after a few days. to not get burned out so fast
I hate how it has a million convoluted mechanics and spells. It's like Pathfinder was made difficult to learn on purpose so the creators and people autistic enough to learn it could act smug and elitist about it.
Also armor isn't actually armor but evasion. What fuckin retarded ass moron came up with that?
>Also armor isn't actually armor but evasion. What fuckin retarded ass moron came up with that?
It makes more sense in tabletop than on a computer game
I just couldn't get into Divinity OS 1&2 though I tried to play them but I loved pathfinder kingmaker and I am liking wotr. Am I autistic? Would I like BG 3 ?
>do valerie's companion quest >the religious order she's been trying to abandon for years tries to coerce her into a holy trial >tell valerie this shit is retarded and we should tell these cunts to fuck off >"paladins" try to murder the king and his friends ,get critted to death >Quest failed
If that is what you wanted, why do you care the quest is technically failed?
It's like being sad you kill Ekun on the spot and you do not get extra shit related to him
>spoiler
Animal companions are a joke. You can't even have token interactions with them like in a fucking bethesda game. Wish they were fleshed out more like the kingmakers Ekun and his pet. I would mod some story content for them if I was capable.
I don't know about WotR but Kingmaker had the worst companions in any cRPG I've ever played. I have to do the autist minmaxxer gayry of using mercs instead they're that bad
WotR's companions are WAY worse. Easily the worst, least likeable companions in any RPG I've ever played. Kingmaker at least had a couple of decent ones but all of the ones in WotR are written like some tumblrfags OC cast.
Tumblrfag OC cast is exactly how I'd describe Kingmaker's companions >Orc/elf open relationship freedom fighters >Strong womyn barbarian >You hate me because I'm too beautful :,( >Nihilistic dwarf with a wicked sense of humour >A gay priest I frankly cannot remember anything about >A tiefling
All written like anime characters, the only one I could stand was the halfling bard because at least she was supportive if one-dimensional
Literally what's wrong with any of them?
And how can they possibly be worse than PoE?
PoE's dry loredumps filtered me before I could get to the companions
WotR's companions are WAY worse. Easily the worst, least likeable companions in any RPG I've ever played. Kingmaker at least had a couple of decent ones but all of the ones in WotR are written like some tumblrfags OC cast.
If you don't like Regill or Jubilost then it's only your completely awful taste that you can blame

>waaaahhh i hate the companion
then just create custom companions and headcanon you're own unique un-pozzed redpilled team than Anon. why does every thread have to be the same where every retarded subhumans wants you to know how much they hate the companions?
I quit the game not long after the first big chapter because it was complete shit and spent the past half hour throwing ugly lesbians in my face.
You're right, I did not finish this shit game on principle, I merely inferred from what I'd seen so far and what I heard.
>You're right, I did not finish this shit game on principle, I merely inferred from what I'd seen so far and what I heard.
then why even shitpost about the game if you didn't even play it for long?
>then why even shitpost about the game if you didn't even play it for long?
Because this isn't steam reviews. I could tell it was shit from my little time with it.
And the companions and their quests are like half the game, the other being the convoluted main story. The gameplay sucks, as I've already said, because it's terrible pathfinder snowflake class nonsense and the game is tuned in such a way that not using the snowflake classes basically breaks the game. It's also why I had no trouble with KM, and making my own custom party in that game.
The game is like playing a degenerate D&D variant with an obnoxious furry DM.
I said I used the mercs in that very post, shitty companions in a party-based cRPG was a serious black mark for an otherwise enjoyable game >I deliberately went into a thread discussing a video game and now I am mad someone discussed it, how could this happen to me
What's wrong with Drezen? You have branching paths, you have valuable treasure everywhere and then a very climactic ending.
Its a mix of playing for about 5 hours + slightly dehydrated + not knowing if/how I could get my party back. The game can be cool as hell, but I fucking hated my time in Drezen.
I like it because it supports build autism and I'm a build autist. The story and characters are passable as a vehicle to deliver fun fights and character progression. Definitely not perfect though. Owlcat has some habits I find curious at best.
The worst thing I remember about Drezen is >"I will go with a strike team of Hellknights to minimize casualties to our forces." >THE ARMY DIDNT LIKE THAT -5 MORALE
I don't think there is anything wrong with that, your army probably counted on the gigachad commander to charge alongside them. Not seeing your glorious leader rally with you might hit the morale more than you think.
It truly does take extreme autism to tolerate a game like that, what with the sheer amount of
- overworld travelling and random encounters
- boring mandatory resting screens
- terrible exposition dump dialogue
- cringe plot full of dragon ball power up anime moments
- SJW propaganda
and of course the absolute DOGSHIT crusade metagame nonsense.
It's just so bad that I doubt anyone who's not mentally ill makes it past act 3.
>be aeon because it felt more monk then angel > planning to go legend >Still doing my best to roleplay aeon >Get to act 4 hell >Aeon path wants me to punish people for being good
Fuck off kek, this path is shit. I was thinking it was going to be like cosmic justice or something but the game just wants me to a janny for the local retard kingpin. "Duurrr not being a raving lunatic means you are breaking the laws of hell you must be executed"
Aeon is an objective judge. Things is a Chaotic Evil plane should be Chaotic Evil. Things in a Lawful Evil realm should stay Lawful Evil.
If you want to dispense good, righteous justice you should have gone Angel.
That doesn't make any sense, then the aeon path should be true neutral. But he is not, it tells you that aeons want everyone and everything to be in it's right place because it's the embodiment of order. The aeon should be going insane dealing with a chaotic plane and trying to bring it order. But it's not, it has no problem with the pure chaos for some reason. If anything the aeon should get ass blasted that some of the slaves in the market are from galoroan and it should want to send them all back to their planes. Instead, we have to enforce and embrace chaotic retardation despite being a lawful being.
The laws the Aeon upholds is the default state of how the multiverse is supposed to function. Demons are supposed to be chaotic and so any deviation from that is an anomaly that must be corrected.
You meet a human in a bar in hell and see that he is acting like a human. you are an aeon, so you A: send him the fuck out of this plane or B: send him to "trial" in a mock court
Yeah, totally, cool path. Literally a space janny. How about instead I slap the shit out of some demon who keeps raiding other planes or something instead? Like an actual cosmic force trying to put everything back to where it should be? Instead we get janny duty. The aeon path can't see the forest from the fucking trees.
Yeah you are basically a giant autistic tool and it only gets worse in Act 5. The key is to get enough true aeon points handling innocuous shit that you have enough to go renegade or devil for stuff you dont believe in. As long as your true aeon points exceed the values of the other 2 you can use your full janny powers.
this happened to me, too. i bailed out a little earlier than you did though. re-rolled Azata and used ToyBox to make my party a steamroller so i could get back to where i'd been on my Aeon character as fast as possible. i think you can be a Rebellious Aeon or something if you make some non-Aeon choices and still finish the route, but i wasn't really riveted by the idea of getting a less satisfying ending just cause i didn't wanna be a Lawfag Janny all the time.
Did you choose your path for real? I played the game only as an Azata and i can't play other paths since they aren't that i want. I don't want to be bad(evil) or nazi(law). Freedom is best.
just use Visual Adjustments 2 to fix her. after the first Act, only like one or two in every 500 lines of dialogue is voice acted anyway. you hardly notice. and if you're playing with combat banter frequency turned up higher than the lowest or second lowest setting, you're a lunatic anyway lol

i've never actually beaten it because i play a million hours trying to complete everything and i get burnt out/bored, quit, uninstall for space. it's alright. would be nice if they didnt just stack metric fucktons of AC on things but its not a huge deal i guess
>Too long
Go back to movie games >garbage encounters
Only semi-viable argument >way too easy
Beat the game on Unfair first >somehow a less immersive implementation of 3.5e than something like NWN, not to speak of ToEE
That's just awful taste lmao
>Go back to movie games
It's not JUST that the game has an overly long anime tier story and just somehow forgets about pacing entirely after chapter 2, but it's also padded out with probably like 50 hours of crusade management and watching pieces slowly move around the overworld map. >Beat the game on Unfair first
I did, it's not hard other than the first five minutes of the underground caves. >That's just awful taste lmao
It's objectively true, the game does absolutely nothing with the mechanics other than number go up, I mean it doesn't even let you do something as simple as pick up traps and use them yourself in the next combat encounter.
I unironically want to make a _4e_ CRPG.
It's a bit odd that there hasn't been one already.
The characters (which are 90% of the reason you would subject yourself to the pathfinder expanded shit show), are shit compared to the first game.
That's all you need to know.
Depressed dwarf replaced by Donut Steel Furry, and deHispanicable fallen paladin replaced by tumblr black selfinsert.
Hell, even the ranger (don't remember his name) from the first game is more interesting than any others in the WoR cast. The only reason it gets praise on Ganker is because of the psycho waifu who has literally no depth beyond 'want to kill people'.
I pirated it, and I'm glad I didn't give money to play it.
>because of the psycho waifu who has literally no depth beyond 'want to kill people'.
that vague description describes like at least three of wotr's companions kek
>who has literally no depth beyond 'want to kill people
This makes obvious you didn't play her romance, or are a speedreader who can't read between the lines.
There are several implied emotions in camellia's dialogue, and there is plenty to debate about why she did certain things.
She's not masterful literature character of course, but she's well written.
I quit the game not long after the first big chapter because it was complete shit and spent the past half hour throwing ugly lesbians in my face.
You're right, I did not finish this shit game on principle, I merely inferred from what I'd seen so far and what I heard.
you have to play it in turn based mode to understand how the game works. playing real time is just a confusing mess. TBM is a big time commitment that some cannot handle.
i have no idea what to really pick on level up and i hear everyone say picking what the game recommends just leaves you with something shitty,so i end up having to play with a guide
I feel like wotr simplified the character levelling screen a lot. I played kingmaker years ago and found the levelling complex at that time but wotr makes it seem much easier. I'm unsure whether they improved the system or it is the same
The UI is more soulless but also much more intuitive.
Feats are now colored according to what they are, in kingmaker they are all brown and look the same.
The screen is less monochromatic, you have purple, white, the feat colors, etc.
It's a much more bearable UI that makes you want to read it's contents.
What's a fun way to play WotR where I'll feel like an amazing mage or sorcerer? It's about that time, I've finally recovered from playing Kingmaker a couple of years ago.
Lich will make you feel like a god once you unlock that couple of spells.
>thinking of going dragon >remember you have to switch to it form a completely unrelated path first >It's not even the best 'retarded hippy' path because Azata exists
I suppose it's supposed to be a redemption story so going something like demon or lich in to it seems ideal but don't both of them fuck every up beforehand? I don't see how you can go full demon chimpout in the chapter 4 then turn in to a hippy for 5.
too many buff and all of them take standard action so if you dont prebuff always you are fucked
non spellcaster chars are boring as fuck and all they can do is auo attack
in general just fucking too many fucking buffs that do the same fucking thing STOP
What's a fun way to play WotR where I'll feel like an amazing mage or sorcerer? It's about that time, I've finally recovered from playing Kingmaker a couple of years ago.
also what do I even buy on Steam to get the whole game, I remember Kingmaker was like this where there is a bundle with the game, a season pass, and something else too and I have no idea if it's gameplay or some stupid shit
I feel the same way
Why do all these games have to involve some fucking world ending threat where you're the chosen one, I dont care about moronania being invaded by the hecking demon realm. Also you can't go 15 fucking steps without bumping into another quippy homo OC that you have to bring because playing without them is equivalent to turning the difficulty up 500%
>that you have to bring because playing without them is equivalent to turning the difficulty up 500%
You can literally hire custom mercs to have companions that are better than the vanilla one power wise.
OS wasn't nearly as bad as Pathfinders.
BG3 needs to fucking burn in hell though, I don't think it could be any more pozzed, maybe if they literally hanged the irl flags in the game.
>Also you can't go 15 fucking steps without bumping into another quippy homo OC that you have to bring because playing without them is equivalent to turning the difficulty up 500%
Why are you making shit up? That doesn't happen. And play Kingmaker if you don't like higher stakes. The entire campaign is about you just carving out a Kingdom from a shithole and it's very local.
Honestly the best new CRPG I've played in a decade. PoE is utter tripe and Kingmaker was alright but WOTR just surpasses it in every way and eliminated a lot of the jank. Mythic Paths are incredible and offer so much replayability both in terms of story and builds. Of course some MP's are disappointing Devil but there's enough there to forgive that.
>playing for the 5th+ time >only now noticing a bunch of dead mongrels near Hulrun in Kenabres
environmental storytelling eh
no idea how did I manage to be that blind/retarded before
guess I'm just that talented. it's a gift, really
did you know that in the lost chapel well where Daeran tell you there is nothing in there is filled with decapitated heads of Gargoyles who were killed by the other
>Daeran is in a risky situation >NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO >Daeran fucking dies during gameplay >It's ok he has insurance 🙂
What the fuck is that skullfucker's problem?
If the player is still alive he can get daeran resurrection
If daeran dies in the well the ghouls will feast on his flesh and it will be his end.
It's a cheesy explanation but it was necessary for gameplay.
Choosing atheism as your religion is the most reddit thing that one could do in pathfinder (inaddition to choosing same sex love interests). How the fuck does atheism even make sense when gods literally exist and appear before you? Do the atheists go like "nope, still don't believe you" at point?
>Atheism is the rejection of the gods. Rather than outright disbelieving in gods whose existence is a matter of hard fact, atheists in Golarion instead deny that the gods are truly divine and thus not deserving of worship or blind faith
TLDR : Atheism definition in pathfinder universe is not the same as our worlds.
>know objectively that some gods used to be mortals >therefore "gods" are not actually gods and are instead just exceedingly powerful people >I'm not going to worship Megan from down the block just because she touched some rock
When does Camellia do anything? I'm in act 3, feels like I'm nearing the end as I learned about the Midnight Fane, and she hasn't said a single thing to me since the start of the game. I'd forget she even existed if it wasn't for her getting posted in these threads.
Did you do her quest in act 1 in the gwerm mansion? Are you doing all act 3 content? Because you need to do a thing in the crusade mode to trigger her quest.
well the end of chapter 3 was disappointing, i though it would be be a tough fight with a good boss but it was just a big demon that can deal tons of damage and just died in few minutes. also now i am stuck in middle eastern hell and you have to rotate a camera to navigate this shtihole, who designed this shitty mechanic for the city?
old queen hag is kinda uncanny
camellia is pretty hot but eh
arue is cute and hot as fuck goddamn, iomedae forgive me
spider cunt is well a friggen traitor but still pretty hot
i dont like the furry but her spells are decent
ember is goddamn child, are you insane
I wish Seelah was my mom
if a were a gay or a woman id fuck Greybor or Daeran tbh
>or is it the case of normal is easy and higher difficulties are normal?
I wouldn't worry about this, the game is renowned for filtering people who get in thinking they can handle higher difficulties.
what's a good pet subclass for mad dog's dog
bully doesn't make sense since you get trip for free at lvl 4 and all the tripping feats by extension
bulwark is kinda lame and I don't think armor really matters for pet AC
I felt like that at first while playing Kingmaker for the first time but it was because I set the difficulty too high + I had no experience with D&D/Pathfinder + the older versions explained JACK SHIT and assumed you were familiar with the system, and if you don't know how stuff like AC and hit dice work you won't even be able to beat the tutorial on the higher difficulties. After accepting my status as a CRPG shitter and lowering it from Hard to Challenging, I loved the game.
Camellia will and it makes no sense to let her get away with it if you are playing a Good character, Wenduag is a femcel who will stop being an autistic serial betrayer if you choose the right options.
If you do everything right her alignment will change to True Neutral. Her character development is actually really nice and it's easily the best female romance (no idea if it's the best overall because I didn't do the male ones)
If you're not a braindead waifufag and actually take playing good seriously, and while being very, VERY merciful, then they'll bot end up betraying you anyway
Why would he? Hellknights come in all forms of lawful, want to destroy demons just as much as Angels, and Lawful Evil is definitely an ends justify the means alignment, if teaming up with a good guy gets the results you want it really doesn't matter.
Regill doesn't leave even if you're a demon who fully embraces being one and turns drezen into a demon shithole, it all depends on how many imaginary points you get on his questline.
I think that's more of an issue in the evil paths. But if I remember correctly, being too much of a goody two shoes will make Camellia get too uppity for her own good.

Game focussed on writing where the writing is bad (ayyo im da queen u is leader naow i will return later to be mad at you, no u dont get a choice or even a dialogue option to question this, here's ur level 3 scout who can 1 shot your level 20 characters solo in seconds because she's a trans-lesbian and???)
Game about making builds where the character building is shit because of how AC works
Game about fighting where the majority of encounters are boring
Game about being the super special mary sue oc with the bestest powers where you mass produce 1 million liches off-screen (as its that easy for anyone not as special as you) and the world doesn't react at all
etc
Also so broken you need to install a cheat plugin to get items from some chests because they're STILL unclickable
Its fairly objectively bad

What are some good modern CRPGs with a multiplayer mode that aren't pozzed shit like Cuckmaker and Dickchoppity: Original Cuck?

How is kingmaker pozzed?
You can tell who's never played a Divinity game before. Because the humour has stayed relatively the same across the series.

The first DOS game had no pozzed trash and even the second game kept it to negligible level.
I'm also struggling to get into it

don't have to give any shits about your party's drama or nonsense just do what your teacher says and be a lich
good because the struggle was talking to other characters
Best recent CRPG. Doesn't shy away from creating actually evil characters who aren't just somehow misunderstood and redeemed later.
When does Pathfinder: Kingmaker get good?
Just know it's a slow burn but the investment is well worth it
Played ~250hrs.
It really doesn't. It's mediocre at absolute best.
If writing and story is important to you, just stop because what's there is bad.
I'm struggling to finish the final(?) quest, not the quest itself but just doing the thing. My party has been parked outside Threshold for the past month. Dunno, I just can't be bothered to finish it.
it's hard when you know areelu's the last boss and you don't give a fuck about her or her son
same happened to me
i just can't finish it and i don't know the reason.
it's weird because i was on the same situation with Divinity 2, pillars of eternity 1, and Kingmaker. When i was close to the end i just couldn't finish them.
kingmaker is worth doing the lantern king boss fight is top tier, unlike thaos, areelu, and div2's battle royal

He blows Areelu out the fucking water, she just has that regenerating health bullshit and unavoidable 50% miss chance to prevent players from 1 shotting her. Also, his theme fucking slaps.
I'm upset that Areelu didn't just have Mythic Power for her fight score.
I rushed past it as fast as possible and deleted areelu with corrupt magic + absolute death. At that point I was just glad it ended, I felt no sympathy for her.
Based and same but i told her to kill herself. and later send her to Maelstrom
I'm like that with most games not just rpgs, once I know there is nothing after I just can't be bothered.
It's pretty short, so just finish it so you can check it off your list. Turn the difficulty down if it takes too long.
best rpg in a long long time
I like it, but its not for everyone
I'm brute-forcing Kingmaker right now. 180 hours in two weeks. I'm definitely playing WOTR after it. I don't think I've been this engrossed by a game since Bitcher 3. Why the fuck did I even sleep on this? How can you possibly get bored of Acid pit shenanigans?
It's rough. The generic classes that I love aren't even close to being relevant in damage, and in this game, your character has to do a lot of damage.
Nice, fake fan guy. Except the actual spammer only hangs out in JRPG threads...not CRPG.
I'll be 100% honest. It becomes good when you take all the existing knowledge you have about the game and events and make the "right" choices. That first playthrough is absolutely brutal and filled with mistakes.
>want to play LE tyrant
>remember Devil is still shit
AHHHHHH OWLKEEEEKS
surely there must be a mod to fix Devil by now
The only mod that adds story content is woljif's romance mod
Based fujos I guess but the boat for this game has long since sailed
don't worry Citadel DLC will fix it
It's really odd.
>It's bad enough Lawful Evil was basically just being a retard in Kingmaker
Filtered.
>meet craft NPC in throneroom
>LE option is to execute them for no reason like a paranoid retard or refuse their services
>companions come to you to talk
>LE option is to immediately end their quest chains
It's the ones like CN where the fact that you're the stupid king no matter and can't just bail that really just don't work
Just because you're playing X alignment doesn't mean you always have to pick the corresponding alignment dialogue option. I played LE just fine
There is no better feeling than sending Stefano's head to Irovetti after he comes in talking shit, LE in Kingmaker is kino
Huh? I remember Lawful Evil working pretty well in KM
They haven't said anything about the DLC other than it being about rebuilding kenabres. Keep your expectations quite low since the team is occupied with rogue trader. The DLC content for their previous game will not be their priority.
yes. Desna revealed it too me in a dream
I wish WotR had bestiary entries like Kingmaker. I liked reading about all the different enemies.
>enemies just bumrush past my front line to murder Ember every single time
boy I really hate this
Great game, but the devs really need to do something about their openings.
>tutorial area is usually piss easy then the difficulty immediately spikes once the training wheels come off
>introducing swarms at level 2 who behave entirely different in combat compared to normal foes is evil
>lore is sometimes completely impenetrable
they give you the ability to hover over lore shit in text boxes. but sometimes they do a poor job of explaining exactly why events are unfolding because of some lore tidbit related to the rich history of the kingdom of Cheliax and its relationship with the holy order of buttclaw
>oh you just got attacked by demons outside the city? No cause for concern, go enjoy the festivities for about 2 minutes until all hell breaks loose
>every time they give you the worst companion first
>pacing? fuck you, massive demon cultist lair at level 3, don't ask us why the guards haven't discovered it even though it's right below the city guard barracks
>you're facing the demon in charge of attacking the city, some weird animations happen, screen cuts to black, you're suddenly in a tavern, "Oh you passed out and we carried you to safety across the city. How? Don't ask question"
>first vendor in the game, you have 60 gold pieces, he's selling level 2 items for 10k gold pieces
they don't give you Trever first though
I don't consider Trever a companion to be honest. None of the "secret" companions should be to be honest, they're non characters with often ruined builds
Galfrey isn't that bad
I feel like I have played through the mongrel tribe shit 10 times already and still rerolling.
this.
I had to take a few months off before picking it up again because I either wanted restart to try a different build or play a different story path like taking Wenduag instead of Lann. Playing through Act 1 again and again was driving me crazy.
Can't you just, you know, respec
The writing is so fucking obnoxious. It's like whoever wrote this game has only consumed marvel movies for the last 10 years. Everything is some shitty ironic quip, it's terrible. I have no idea how people enjoy this game.
>What does Ganker think of this game?
it's great, i am loving it so far as a pally. got a 2h greatsword combined it with divine bond, haste and sword of heaven and watching everything die in few hits is cool. Also succ Best girl, love her cutesy Anime girl personality.
the cutesy anime personality is the best part
She's going to fuck the cat
GIWTWM
>Still no paladin purification arue edit
a what?
You know the one, the 5 panel from some doujin about a girl getting corrupted into a slut, that was reversed into a paladin meme one time.
I have no idea what you're talking about
>2H paladin
basically my current character
i created a custom Sorcerer guy and he pretty much is better than her in every way, Atleast i don't have to rest every time for spells i forget to put in her slots
Spontaneous casters can't use metamagic, can they?
don't know what Metamagic is and i am afraid to even ask
They can, it's no different than arcane caster except you don't have to slot it.
They can.
Bolster increases by a flat amount.
sorry for the late reply but thanks. also aside from Toybox is there any other essential QOL mod that i am missing? i will try gameplay overhauls one next time
Visual adjustment 2 is a must if you to play fashion i guess. some people recommend Bubbles buffbot but i don't think it's essential
Weapon Focus Plus.
Spontaneous casters need a full round to cast any metamagic'd spells, except quickened obviously.
I did not care for her moeblob personality.
But going Demon > Legend with Arue is kino.
Is any of the DLC worth it
the new one is pretty decent
midnight isles and the last Sarkorian only
No. The game is already massive. No one in their right mind would think adding to it would be an improvement.
Modern Ganker has too much ADHD for games like these, they quit at the first dialogue box
I love it
How does multi classing work in Kingmaker?
I'm really glad that class stuff comes up outside of combat too
Trying out a knight build and charging like a madman into a enemy to delete 3/4 of its health bar is pretty satisfying

But does it allow you to turn half the damage into non-elemental, so it can't be reduced?
just take Ascendant element mythic feat
Ascended Element mythic feat makes your one energy time completely unresistable even to immunity.
If you want to get really gross, you can take crossblooded sorcerer with two draconic bloodlines and the damage bonus stacks.
>Kingmaker
>Filtered by swarms
>Try it again few months later
>Meet lady alone way out in the woods
>It was a trap
Never touching these gay games again
For swarms you can use alcehmists fire, for the spoiler you can just run or plan ahead.
That's a very common requirement for trolls in fantasy settings.
I'm a JRPG baby who only started to play CRPGs recently kek. So I really didn't know at the time.
>how was i supposed to know basic fantasy elements and tropes that have been around for nearly 50 years
Yeah I had to look it up.
Only if the weapon has elemental damage.
It's solid mechanically and can scratch the itch for build autism, but has the most Reddit writing and characters I've ever seen.
Is autoleveling companions viable at unfair or should I micromanage it as well?
>Is autoleveling companions viable at unfair
absolutely not unless you're playing a solo build and soloing most of the time. You can use them just fine but you had best plan out their builds.
Oh well thanks. The problem is when I plan out their builds, I tend to spend q a significant amount of time in analyzing the choices instead of actually playing the game. I remember in one of my sessions of kingmaker, I played for an hour and in that I had spent 30 mins on character leveling screen.
If you even have to ask you are not ready for unfair
game is great but the VA is some of the worst i've ever fucking heard everyone sounds like Marvel characters
I just got ember in my party. Can anyone offer some tips on making ember better? She seems to be pretty weak on weapons and magic.
just use her to spam hexes for now until you get Ascendant Element fire, Red salamander+ ring of pyromania. Also give her a crossblooded sorcerer(gold+brass/red Dragon) dip for extra fire damage
>hexes
Oh right. I've never been one for casting debuffs and afflictions. I'll try doing that now.
Hexes are amazing as fuck. Secondly. She's probably the best blaster you can get from any party member with 1 ring and 1 mythic feat supporting her.
should I play now or wait for season pass 2 to fully come out? surely there won't be a 3rd pass..
Might as well play now while it's on sale. Even just the base game for $12 is worth it.
Imagine not liking Jubilost
I actually do like him quite a bit. He's a really funny dude, and he's good at what he does. He talks like hell sure and that can be a little annoying, but he's way more based of a character than I expected him to be
he is just nice to Arueshalae and Ember only, Daeran and Lann had to team up to because of shit talk and Regill is just annoyed to see him
I've never got this event in all my playthroughs.
Someone didn't explore deep enough in the worldwound in act 5
That's when it happens? I assumed it was in chapter 3 or something.
I had to check a YouTube video to find out where he spawns because I cleared everything already, but needed another demon blood and magical hide for Areelu's cloak
love this gnomish manlet honestly.
different ending slides for companions? like something if you romance Arueshalae as a angel and there is different slide for it
Galfrey has different slides. Seems liek a sign
yeah something like that. i can understand why Galfrey has the best ending slides tho, she is barely in the entirety of the game itself.
How the fuck is WotR not a fantasy retard
it's fine but like all crpgs you shouldn't touch it until it's 2 years old
I like the idea and to be honest, there isn't that many new cprgs.
However, managing a huge party and having a fucking time limit kills this for me. But beggars can't be choosers I guess.
There's no time limit, unless you're talking about Kingmaker.
God I'm on such a fucking ego trip right now, it's the best. As a Paladinfag, the amount of power fantasy shit I'm on is great.
>get an Angel's longsword
>bitches constantly wet
>get angel wings and a halo
>bitches even more wet
>the queen and succubus are soaking
>smite evil harder and harder
Will try Azata next once I do Angel, but from the Azata dialogue I've seen, they seem sort of obnoxious and annoying.
Azata are literally disney princesses. You even sing songs with Arue several times if you romance her as Azata. It's played so completely straight it goes from being cringe to kind of cute, so I'll give the devs some credit for that.
It's also hilarious how exasperated Regill gets at you for being a song singing hippy.
based. Fellow paladin chads do you get extra romance dialogue with Arue in the angel & Azata path? love hearing the asian bug guy call her a Shepardess because of how much she is attracted to me
No, that's for demon chads only.
why? doesn't she hate her own kind? she also sounded happy when i sing the song in prison and become Angel.
She tries to redeem (you), you can let her romance (you) and redeem (you), or you can break her and turn her into a generic boring demon whore.
that sounds cool but i don't think i will ever do another playthrough after Angel honestly.
You will
She doesn't hate them, but being a demon is exactly why she gets more dialogue if you romance her, and you have to drop the path later
No. Azata and demon are the only ones with unique dialogue for her. And they're both fairly limited. You don't get to pull a bouquet of flowers from behind your head for her as trickster or make bad things never have happened for her as aeon or nothing. Disappointing.
>And they're both fairly limited
Hell no demon isn't limited, it's easily the most reactivity involving mythic paths and romance in the game, besides buck breaking Sosiel (which is also demon only)
nope. Azata doesn't have anything Romance specific for Arueshalae, Demon has a whole sequence where she tells everyone how much she loves you, Angel just has one dialouge where he go ''i see the light in Arueshalae soul'' but it has no bearing on the romance
runelords or Hell's vengeance.
>or make bad things never have happened for her as aeon or nothing
but you can
>Aeon gets tons of unique ending for everyone
>other paths doesn't
If only OwlKeks didn't run out of time when Making Act 5 i am sure every path would have had a unique ending slides for each companion
Aeon has an ending that literally rewrites history itself, what did you expect exactly? It needs new ending by necessity
yes. but i want the same for every mythic path really. Laziness is no excuse
Do you really need more with Angel?
You came, you saw, you fucked them up
i was talking about Ending slides anon
Sure. Whta more do you need from angel slides, is the question?
It's shit. Good soundtrack though.
This game's soundtrack is extremly generic, might as well be royalty free
And you communicate like a communist. Go back to suckcockistan, bitch!
Why are all the women dykes?
only the low tier women are dykes
You just posted the lowest tier character
why so #madatcam
Enjoyable. The mythic paths allow for some fun roleplay in addition to your class choices. Core+ is tedious as fuck though. Man I hate how the game just throws endless long duration debuffs at you that stop mattering the second you get a buff that gives you immunity.
What would be their possible next game in the pathfinder universe?
They have a ton of different modules to choose from.
Hopefully one where we get to slaughter the nazis. Yes, there are nazis in Pathfinder.
The pharaohs one might be cool.
>Chap 2
>Random encounter : Adult Nabasu and Gibrileth
What the fuck was that
random encounters are the worst part of this game since it's the pathfinder system; get the combat relief mod to disable it
this bitch is LONG. and i mean LONG LONG. like plan to play this shit for 6 months at least long.
how long do i have to wait for the queen to show up? i have already talked to Arue in the jail, did Regill quest and killed Camellia and she still hasn't shown up yet.
At the end of act 3? You have a grace period of couple of weeks to sort shit out. If you've done all the sidequests and areas just complete research and just do the crusader shit for a while. Build teleportation circles and shit.
A month, finish up your crafting stuff in the meantime
>he doesn't play Lawful Good, the best alignment
Pathetic
Lawful has some of the most hypocritical dialogues ingame. Like when you chastise someone for grave robbing but you do that all the time.
>Chaotic is also the 'stupid/naive/nonsensical' option
>complains that chaotic options are chaotic
I don't know what you expect from an alignment called "chaotic"
Get yourself a dictionary. Chaotic doesn't mean stupid.
In terms of roleplaying, yes it does.
Nope
cope.
>Chaos - a state of disorder and confusion
Anything would fit.
sorry lawcuck but Chaotic Neutral is the best alignment
>Freedom of speech
>right to bear arms
There is nothing unlawful about these things. They are to the letter of the law. Cope Chaos child.
>There is nothing unlawful about these things. They are to the letter of the law
in most nations in Golarion it isn't lmao. yeah i am Sure LN or LE would allow normal peasants access to scrolls and enchanted weapons
cope, seethe and dilate lawfag
I am not even reading your response, you petulant child. Never respond to my objectively correct posts again.
retard
What laws? Yours? Yeah, like the good little cuck you are.
Anyone who says something I don't like gets the noose, simple as.
t. LEchad
>playing LE without a intense sense of duty and honor
you are really wasting the best alignment for high IQ players in tabletop
Stick to LN. Regillfags were a mistake.
i've been playing LE since before you were born, and long before this game came out, fucking retard.
Regill was way too much of a writer's pet. Mary Sue-ass piece of shit who can't ever be wrong.
t. chaotic chud waifumoron
You would slurp Regill's cum in a heartbeat, imagine complaining about waifufags.
Waifumoron is really seething now
Well yeah, you are. I'm sorry I insulted your gnome waifu, anon.
LE is the alignment where you bend the law to suit your needs you idiot
>b-but Regill
is just a Lawful Neutralfag who is just too cruel and unnecessarily evil
small minded, i will not waste my time explaining to you how to design a proper LE character here, come to /t/ sometime and i might help you, if not maybe stick to video games.
This will be my last reply to you.
You can just say you're a fag, you don't have to type out chaotic neutral, no reason to make people infer your actual meaning.
> Not going neutral dispensing mercy and wrath in equal measure
ngmi
>90% of the lawful choices are fanatical or borderline evil in some cases
I get that it fits the setting, but Chaotic Good all the way
this a Chaotic good god gives you redeemed succ waifus, lawful gods will never give you that
Yeah! Desna gives you the Succubus waifu whereas Iomadae gives you forced servitude
I love it in so many different ways.
Hot tip: turn the difficulty down, the only people who are gunna gatekeep difficulty in that game have been minmaxing in pathfinder for 15 years and got banned from every table they've sat at.
or just do what i did, play on core for the achievements but use toy box to cheat every retarded fight like playful darkness
also cheat the crystals for the secret ending in
I really wanted to like pathfinder because it had a bunch of classes I wanted to try like magus and alchemist. I just can't though. It's not even the pozzing, it feels bad and wrong to play.
Alignment morons should be given the death penalty.
Playful darkness is bullshit unless you already know he is there before you even enter the midnight fane and prepaid.
>Inb4 "I beat him on my easy / normal playthrough or just by chance had pillar of light / was playing lich"
the moron bug in the cave in act 3, in the quest for the sword or whatever can fuck itself too, installed toybox because of that fight and just deleted it.
You can go back to him in act 4, the only thing that says you shouldn't is the Sadistic achievement
I got to the end once, got bored and now every new run i make i get to act 4, and it's such a shit and tedious act i always end up stopping before coming back in a month and going again on a new class until act 4.
>completed all the mythic paths i was interested in (Angel, Demon, Legend, Azata and Lich)
>just now doing a gestalt Oracle+paladin build and killing everything in one round at Hard
Gestalting is so fun bros, you guys should give it a try too.
>gestalt
what mod are you using, everytime i tried using toy boxes option for that it bugs the fuck out and i am missing a ton of shit.
just go to Toybox and enable gestalt option in the level up section.
Yeah, that's what i was doing, it wouldn't work no matter what class i tried mixing with a crossblooded sorc, it would break feats and all kinds of shit.
Sad i was hoping you had some more stable mod i wasn't aware of.
if this thread survives and doesn't sieze to exist in 3 hours then i see if i can help you or not because rn i am wageslaving
>wageslaving on weekends
That's awful mate
Alright thanks if you come back and reply to me and i ain't here, i passed out 11pm here, but i will most likely still be up.
Nta but i have a mod for you that gives you the same experience as a gestalt anime character in just one overpowered class
https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderwrathoftherighteous/mods/398
how do you do it? I sometimes get the idea to play it again, but then I'm reminded I'm going to be playing again a game for 100 hours or so
do this
and Respecc and then tick the box of which Class you want as secondary class
oh if you're talking about how i endure multiple playthrough than i only play it until i get to act 5 and then resume the playthrough after a few days. to not get burned out so fast
Why the FUCK would you play this chud game when Pillars Of Eternity exists?
I hate how it has a million convoluted mechanics and spells. It's like Pathfinder was made difficult to learn on purpose so the creators and people autistic enough to learn it could act smug and elitist about it.
Also armor isn't actually armor but evasion. What fuckin retarded ass moron came up with that?
>Also armor isn't actually armor but evasion. What fuckin retarded ass moron came up with that?
It makes more sense in tabletop than on a computer game
>Pathfinder
>Complicated
The only system simplir than that is D&D 5e
Well, if something hits your armor and not your flesh, you avoided getting hit.
You would still suffer damage from the impact. Armor doesn't make you invulnerable.
It means it wasn't a solid enough hit to do damage
The webs in the Sycamore dungeon are notoriously bad
its actually not that complicated. they couldve made it not so wordy though.
I just couldn't get into Divinity OS 1&2 though I tried to play them but I loved pathfinder kingmaker and I am liking wotr. Am I autistic? Would I like BG 3 ?
what is she thinking about?
the commander obviously
playing kingmaker
3 of my dudes have been stuck in webs for 10 minutes
You have reached level 10 and not found out how to deal with this?
I'm level 2 and a half
That's not even the worst part of early game. Wait till you get to swarm of flies that you can't hit unless you have some oil flasks or bombs.
bloated repugnant SHIT
Is there a mod to autosave before dialogue rolls? I had like 10 DC vs 12 DC one time and failed an important roll, my last save was an hour ago.
I love my cute dragon fren. Aivu is best girl.
>do valerie's companion quest
>the religious order she's been trying to abandon for years tries to coerce her into a holy trial
>tell valerie this shit is retarded and we should tell these cunts to fuck off
>"paladins" try to murder the king and his friends ,get critted to death
>Quest failed
Bullshit.
If that is what you wanted, why do you care the quest is technically failed?
It's like being sad you kill Ekun on the spot and you do not get extra shit related to him
She's gonna go live on a farm
Unless you like trial and error it's shit.
Bros I am on my way towards the ascension ending. Does my animal companion also ascend?
Depends.
All dogs go to heaven
fuck you my big saber-tooth cat will also go to heaven
>spoiler
Animal companions are a joke. You can't even have token interactions with them like in a fucking bethesda game. Wish they were fleshed out more like the kingmakers Ekun and his pet. I would mod some story content for them if I was capable.
Can we appreciate the fact that even though these characters are so shallow, they are leagues ahead of BG3s companions?
I can't because I've never played BG3
No, because I borderline hate all of them and BG3 has not released yet.
nice try russianKEK. pathfinder has the worst companions of any rpg. arue's entire story revolves around a fucking table.
Apart from trever specifically, all these companions are miles better than the companions in divinity.
Even the shit ones like Sosiel.
Tumblrfag OC cast is exactly how I'd describe Kingmaker's companions
>Orc/elf open relationship freedom fighters
>Strong womyn barbarian
>You hate me because I'm too beautful :,(
>Nihilistic dwarf with a wicked sense of humour
>A gay priest I frankly cannot remember anything about
>A tiefling
All written like anime characters, the only one I could stand was the halfling bard because at least she was supportive if one-dimensional
PoE's dry loredumps filtered me before I could get to the companions
Literally what's wrong with any of them?
And how can they possibly be worse than PoE?
If you don't like Regill or Jubilost then it's only your completely awful taste that you can blame
>waaaahhh i hate the companion
then just create custom companions and headcanon you're own unique un-pozzed redpilled team than Anon. why does every thread have to be the same where every retarded subhumans wants you to know how much they hate the companions?
The game is like playing a degenerate D&D variant with an obnoxious furry DM.
>snowflake class
what the fuck does that mean
I said I used the mercs in that very post, shitty companions in a party-based cRPG was a serious black mark for an otherwise enjoyable game
>I deliberately went into a thread discussing a video game and now I am mad someone discussed it, how could this happen to me
>think i understand a class
>suddenly unlocks a new thesis statement at level 12
ah man give me a break
i can fix her bros and then she'll love me also irl
she's already fixed before you meet her
and that's a good thing. based Desna giving me a succ wife for free
>Irl
She doesn't exist irl you dummy, this is make believe
But do you think love can bloom on a battlefield?
Just got the Sword of Valor I want to kill who ever made Drezen
Drezen get's overrun with demons later and you need to recapture it
Yippie
It's always weird to me how people dislike one of the better combat setpieces of the game
Its a mix of playing for about 5 hours + slightly dehydrated + not knowing if/how I could get my party back. The game can be cool as hell, but I fucking hated my time in Drezen.
What's wrong with Drezen? You have branching paths, you have valuable treasure everywhere and then a very climactic ending.
>b-but I wanna COOMPLAIN
I feel like I'm too retarded for spellcasters.
I've only played as martials. What's a good class to play to get used to spellcasting?
any spontaneous caster
oracle is probably the most braindead of them all
Download Tabletop Tweaks and create a Nature Fang druid. They are full casters that trade in shapeshift shit for Slayer talents.
I like it because it supports build autism and I'm a build autist. The story and characters are passable as a vehicle to deliver fun fights and character progression. Definitely not perfect though. Owlcat has some habits I find curious at best.
Absolute trash. The companions were absolutely insufferable
I made a full mercenary team and had fun.
>go through the left side with the dread knights
>Meet up with queen
>Backpeddel and do the breath part with queen somehow
Poorly coded/ implemented what the fuck
The worst thing I remember about Drezen is
>"I will go with a strike team of Hellknights to minimize casualties to our forces."
>THE ARMY DIDNT LIKE THAT -5 MORALE
I don't think there is anything wrong with that, your army probably counted on the gigachad commander to charge alongside them. Not seeing your glorious leader rally with you might hit the morale more than you think.
It truly does take extreme autism to tolerate a game like that, what with the sheer amount of
- overworld travelling and random encounters
- boring mandatory resting screens
- terrible exposition dump dialogue
- cringe plot full of dragon ball power up anime moments
- SJW propaganda
and of course the absolute DOGSHIT crusade metagame nonsense.
It's just so bad that I doubt anyone who's not mentally ill makes it past act 3.
>boring mandatory resting screens
if you rest in dungeons you didn't beat the game
>be aeon because it felt more monk then angel
> planning to go legend
>Still doing my best to roleplay aeon
>Get to act 4 hell
>Aeon path wants me to punish people for being good
Fuck off kek, this path is shit.
That's the point, demon realms lack of law is THE LAW. That's it's natural state. Aeon is here to uphold that.
aeons are cucks.
I wish these games had demos so I could try the game before buying. But oh well I guess I'll pirate it
Did you choose your path for real? I played the game only as an Azata and i can't play other paths since they aren't that i want. I don't want to be bad(evil) or nazi(law). Freedom is best.
>5 minutes in
>AYO WE WUZ KNIGHTS N SHEEEIIIT MUH NIGGUH
Never dropped a game this quick
Didn't even get to her lesbian orc captain?
Her lesbian with a chud captain!
just use Visual Adjustments 2 to fix her. after the first Act, only like one or two in every 500 lines of dialogue is voice acted anyway. you hardly notice.
and if you're playing with combat banter frequency turned up higher than the lowest or second lowest setting, you're a lunatic anyway lol
Based
thanks King
she's the female Wizard though, i have to bring her. Woljif only knows a little magic, and i replaced him with Arue after Drezen anyway.
giwtwm
>she must be..so very big lady....?
What did shota commander mean by this?
7 int + profound mental retardation + stat drain from succubus sex
>is somehow still alive after succ sex as a child, especially from one who doesn't hold back
jesus what did Areelu use to make him in her Labs?
>doesn't hold back
that's never the case
if succ don't hold back they just drain levels until you die
that would make maintaining clientele in succubus brothels quite problematic
Arue canonically never holds back
>Doesn't hold back
>14 STR
>24 DEX
>16 CON
>18 INT
>14 WIS
>21 CHA
Bro she's a fucking hazard in bed with those stats alone, even as an azata.
Reminder that 14 STR is heavy weight worker tier and normal people usually are 10-12 STR.
>24 DEX
>21 CHA
Remember how the MC can make her cum with just a touch? So can she.
>16 CON
And she won't stop after climaxing.
>Reminder that 14 STR is heavy weight worker tier and normal people usually are 10-12 STR.
this reminded me that she is nerfed compared to her TT version, TT arue could probably kill you by squeezing you're between her thighs
you are fine. and you are an idiot because you didn't kill both of them when you had the chance.
>you're
you. sorry
>you are an idiot because you didn't kill both of them when you had the chance.
Why ? I'm not playing a vengeful angel, a good angel would have given them a chance for redemption.
did you pick her during the maze option? if not than she will die regardless
Oh well. RIP to her
Those women are downright broken inside and no one can fix them. Only simps would think otherwise.
>Those women are downright broken inside and no one can fix them. Only simps would think otherwise.
based Angel chad. redemption for those who atone for their crimes, death by holy flaming swords for those who do not
No she won't, but it requires being evil while confronting her in act 3. But if you're playing an angel of salvation then you're logically going to pick the good option
nerfed how? stats wise or did she had some borken ability?
Both.
see it for your self anon
>borken
yeah, she is ''borken'' alright
>it is another DM and player ERP for an hour episode
oh shit! my favorite!
>it is another DM friends zones player paladin guy from Romancing Arueshalae because she is his Waifu
yes. that actually happened to some Fa/tg/uy while he was playing the module.
>it is another DM creates self insets for every single waifu in the game episode
lmao holy fucking shit
was the GM self aware ? how did he justify it ?
> how did he justify it ?
''you didn't romance her correctly''
I wish Arue and other succubi in game looked as demonic as they're in pnp
>Literally just a human with wings, horns and a tail
How demonic
glowing red eyes for starters
Vallexia turns into some horrific monster when she fights you, it's fair to say that most succubi change their face to scary people when they fight.
>Vallexia turns into some horrific monster when she fights you
No she doesn't
when she gets angry at you, the game dialogue mentions how her beautiful face contorts and her jaws elongates with her mouth filled with sharp teeths. llok it up if you don't believe me
Oh that, I thought you meant that she transformed herself into something else
give him a break, that is probably the only interaction he has with another living being while trapped inside Areelu lab.
>furry character is still there
>replace Seelah with Valerie
don't know if it's worse or better
>spoiler
YOU ARE TODAYS SACRIFICE!
I can hear it
>Visual Adjustments 2 to fix her.
I could but it makes more sense her being black because that's why my commander doesn't consider her as a love interest.
game need more characters like nok-nok
didn't mean to quote sorry
No problem fren
i've never actually beaten it because i play a million hours trying to complete everything and i get burnt out/bored, quit, uninstall for space. it's alright. would be nice if they didnt just stack metric fucktons of AC on things but its not a huge deal i guess
Too long, garbage encounters, way too easy, somehow a less immersive implementation of 3.5e than something like NWN, not to speak of ToEE.
>Too long
Go back to movie games
>garbage encounters
Only semi-viable argument
>way too easy
Beat the game on Unfair first
>somehow a less immersive implementation of 3.5e than something like NWN, not to speak of ToEE
It's a bit odd that there hasn't been one already.
Unfortunately a stumbling block is the fact that WOTC reallly did not want anyone to make one
>i beat the game on unfair
>but i absolutely hate everything about it
Either you're the most dedicated autist on the planet or just a lying retard.
I had already played Kingmaker and know the system, my first and only playthrough was on unfair.
I unironically want to make a _4e_ CRPG.
They already exist, they're called "visual novels"
it filtered me hard, played 5 hours and dont know what to do,where to go, how to do anything.
I'd love it, if only I didn't hate it instead.
Interesting ideas, annoying execution.
Bad game, avoid at all cost, unless you're a masochist for constant barrage of disappointment.
DnD is so trash in video games. Just do anything else.
I just put it on story mode, and I've been enjoying it. The gameplay is autistic but the story is alright
you have to play it in turn based mode to understand how the game works. playing real time is just a confusing mess. TBM is a big time commitment that some cannot handle.
i have no idea what to really pick on level up and i hear everyone say picking what the game recommends just leaves you with something shitty,so i end up having to play with a guide
Based retard
explain
aldori defender
>aldori defender
why? why not go Crusader or just simply fighter anon
bitch i dont know it sounded cool
which class?
crpg bro on youtube has good build videos.
what difficulty
unless you play on hard or unfair you can just wing it
just don't pick absolutely retarded shit like metamagic on physical hitter
normal but i turned off some stuff that seemed annoying
theres a deep learning curve on builds and theres no getting around it. you can just unga bunga and its pretty straight forward though.
Lich will make you feel like a god once you unlock that couple of spells.
Play it on easy and pick whatever fits your roleplay
Its pretty bad, sadly the writing, voice acting is subpar at best and the combat is not very engaging
Build autism heaven though
>thinking of going dragon
>remember you have to switch to it form a completely unrelated path first
>It's not even the best 'retarded hippy' path because Azata exists
I suppose it's supposed to be a redemption story so going something like demon or lich in to it seems ideal but don't both of them fuck every up beforehand? I don't see how you can go full demon chimpout in the chapter 4 then turn in to a hippy for 5.
Trickster or gtfo, every other path sucks donkey nuts.
too many buff and all of them take standard action so if you dont prebuff always you are fucked
non spellcaster chars are boring as fuck and all they can do is auo attack
in general just fucking too many fucking buffs that do the same fucking thing STOP
What's a fun way to play WotR where I'll feel like an amazing mage or sorcerer? It's about that time, I've finally recovered from playing Kingmaker a couple of years ago.
Don't do it to yourself again, anon.
also what do I even buy on Steam to get the whole game, I remember Kingmaker was like this where there is a bundle with the game, a season pass, and something else too and I have no idea if it's gameplay or some stupid shit
>paying money for a video game
Torrent the GoG installer you moron.
Imagine funding this woke garbage.
lich Sorcerer or Angel oracle for Divine caster
I feel the same way
Why do all these games have to involve some fucking world ending threat where you're the chosen one, I dont care about moronania being invaded by the hecking demon realm. Also you can't go 15 fucking steps without bumping into another quippy homo OC that you have to bring because playing without them is equivalent to turning the difficulty up 500%
>that you have to bring because playing without them is equivalent to turning the difficulty up 500%
You can literally hire custom mercs to have companions that are better than the vanilla one power wise.
If you think pathfinder is pozzed, I wonder how you would play larian games. They are the worst.
OS wasn't nearly as bad as Pathfinders.
BG3 needs to fucking burn in hell though, I don't think it could be any more pozzed, maybe if they literally hanged the irl flags in the game.
Cry more little chuddy. Watch out for the trannies hiding under your bed.
then play kingmaker
Of course some MP's are disappointing Devil but there's enough there to forgive that.
>playing for the 5th+ time
>only now noticing a bunch of dead mongrels near Hulrun in Kenabres
environmental storytelling eh
no idea how did I manage to be that blind/retarded before
guess I'm just that talented. it's a gift, really
did you know that in the lost chapel well where Daeran tell you there is nothing in there is filled with decapitated heads of Gargoyles who were killed by the other
>Daeran is in a risky situation
>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>Daeran fucking dies during gameplay
>It's ok he has insurance 🙂
What the fuck is that skullfucker's problem?
If the player is still alive he can get daeran resurrection
If daeran dies in the well the ghouls will feast on his flesh and it will be his end.
It's a cheesy explanation but it was necessary for gameplay.
Why would you? He says that he made a deal with the church of abadar, long before meeting you
Choosing atheism as your religion is the most reddit thing that one could do in pathfinder (inaddition to choosing same sex love interests). How the fuck does atheism even make sense when gods literally exist and appear before you? Do the atheists go like "nope, still don't believe you" at point?
Have you tried actually reading what the Atheism choice says?
Dunno why I'm even asking, you obviously haven't.
because gods are just powerful beings, they don't deserve Worship except maybe Desna ofc
Same reason Christfags don't worship demons even though they're powerful supernatural entities
retard
retard
Mhhh, I wish I could solve this mystery!
>reads the description of the "Atheism" choice in character creation
Wow, that was fucking hard wasn't it.
>Atheism is the rejection of the gods. Rather than outright disbelieving in gods whose existence is a matter of hard fact, atheists in Golarion instead deny that the gods are truly divine and thus not deserving of worship or blind faith
TLDR : Atheism definition in pathfinder universe is not the same as our worlds.
>know objectively that some gods used to be mortals
>therefore "gods" are not actually gods and are instead just exceedingly powerful people
>I'm not going to worship Megan from down the block just because she touched some rock
When does Camellia do anything? I'm in act 3, feels like I'm nearing the end as I learned about the Midnight Fane, and she hasn't said a single thing to me since the start of the game. I'd forget she even existed if it wasn't for her getting posted in these threads.
retard
don't worry anon you will get to kill her soon, do a decree where it says their is a murder that happened in Drezen.
spoiling moron
actual brain-dead moron
have a nice day
Seething gatekeeper
Did you do her quest in act 1 in the gwerm mansion? Are you doing all act 3 content? Because you need to do a thing in the crusade mode to trigger her quest.
I forgot about that act 1 quest, I did complete that one. Guess I'll keep playing then.
well the end of chapter 3 was disappointing, i though it would be be a tough fight with a good boss but it was just a big demon that can deal tons of damage and just died in few minutes. also now i am stuck in middle eastern hell and you have to rotate a camera to navigate this shtihole, who designed this shitty mechanic for the city?
These games have an immense mechanical depth that ends up amounting to nothing substantial.
Are Bolster rods broken? I'm trying to use it with Fireball/Scorching ray and not seeing any extra damage in the logs.
bolster is aoe damage so shouldn't add to scorching ray.
It doesn't work on Fireball either
I play with "clear negative effects on rest" because dealing with disease, curses and negative levels outside of combat is a slog.
cool story, cheater.
old queen hag is kinda uncanny
camellia is pretty hot but eh
arue is cute and hot as fuck goddamn, iomedae forgive me
spider cunt is well a friggen traitor but still pretty hot
i dont like the furry but her spells are decent
ember is goddamn child, are you insane
I wish Seelah was my mom
if a were a gay or a woman id fuck Greybor or Daeran tbh
What about nenio?
>I wish Seelah was my mom
She acts like a stupid teenager but okay king.
>arue is cute and hot as fuck goddamn, iomedae forgive me
tell me about it, her saying ''i am glad I was useful to you'' is too damn cute.
all i want is a very cute girl to grovel for my occasional approval and attention. is that too much to ask?
me too anon, me too
Yes. Such girls usually tend to be incompetent and not contribute much in a relationship irl.
>Ember is old enough to ascend
>but not have a boyfriene
Anon... woljiff is her Boyfriend
Don't be a fag. She is clearly Built for Big Human Cock, like all females in Pathfinder.
yes. but Ember has her soulless black Eyes set on the genki tiefling Rogue. they are childhood friends after all
Good thing that tieflings are humans then
>I wish Seelah was my mom
w-why? why do you want a black women as a mother who allies herself with criminals and cowards
is normal a good difficulty to start if im new to this shit and dnd systems?
or is it the case of normal is easy and higher difficulties are normal?
>or is it the case of normal is easy and higher difficulties are normal?
I wouldn't worry about this, the game is renowned for filtering people who get in thinking they can handle higher difficulties.
You got to play turn based mode to know what is going on or else you will be hopelessly lost in this game.
what's a good pet subclass for mad dog's dog
bully doesn't make sense since you get trip for free at lvl 4 and all the tripping feats by extension
bulwark is kinda lame and I don't think armor really matters for pet AC
Just beat Minagho at the end of act 1. Actual kino with the swelling music and you just btfoing demons left and right.
I think I'm glad I tried it and dropped it years ago instead of picking it up during this sale and wasting 12 dollars. Sucks to suck gay.
You can still refund discounted products in steam, right?
It's a single player game that's literally been out for free for many many years.
Can you pathfinder veterans tell me which companions will leave me in wotr if I am of neutral good alignment?
noone. as far as i am aware
Really? I was expecting that the crazy canibalistic bitches i.e. Camelia and Wendaug will betray me and get rekt
They do, but not by default, they don't leave automatically because of your alignment (in fact, alignment doesn't matter, your mythic path does)
Camellia will and it makes no sense to let her get away with it if you are playing a Good character, Wenduag is a femcel who will stop being an autistic serial betrayer if you choose the right options.
>that wenduag spoiler
Ok if I spare her, are you sure she won't kill lann and become tribe leader after the ending, I have a bad feeling about her
why don't you just let Lann kill her? unequip his bow or weapon and make him one punch her
If you do everything right her alignment will change to True Neutral. Her character development is actually really nice and it's easily the best female romance (no idea if it's the best overall because I didn't do the male ones)
If you're not a braindead waifufag and actually take playing good seriously, and while being very, VERY merciful, then they'll bot end up betraying you anyway
How does lawful evil aka "based" Regill not leave an angel commander?
Why would he? You are defeating chaos.
One of the deities Regill's order worships is Iomedae.
because Angel is Lawful good, he even says that Areelu experiment turning you into a angel is sign of Law and order triumphing over Chaos
Why would he? Hellknights come in all forms of lawful, want to destroy demons just as much as Angels, and Lawful Evil is definitely an ends justify the means alignment, if teaming up with a good guy gets the results you want it really doesn't matter.
Because it works.
Regill doesn't leave even if you're a demon who fully embraces being one and turns drezen into a demon shithole, it all depends on how many imaginary points you get on his questline.
also which mythic path are you playing? companions do leave on some mythic path
I'm playing as a goody good angel.
I think that's more of an issue in the evil paths. But if I remember correctly, being too much of a goody two shoes will make Camellia get too uppity for her own good.
>Can't dual wield greatswords
Shit game
It is sad the Titan Mauler archetype and vestigial arm Alchemist discovery aren't in the game.
Same, couldn't get into it even after trying to push through for the cute succubus
tbh I didn't quite like it until I hit act 2.
how do I salvage woljif without going vivi
sword saint.
his first 2 feats are
>two weapon fighting
>double slice
why would you go sword saint with that
it's already feat starved
Eldritch knight
Romanced Camelia exclusively to sacrifice her as a Lich, fuck that deranged cunt.
"Where's my dick?"
based. was thinking of Sacrificing Wenduag but Camellia sounds better .
NTA but why don't you just respecc him completely using Toybox or the respecc mod?
>NTA but why don't you just respecc him completely using Toybox or the respecc
my toybox respecs don't change first levels
they just act like regular respects you can trigger at npc with the setting on
besides, it not rp friendly
same reason I don't wanna use vivi really
I think eldritch scoundrel would be the rp friendly choice.
but then you have bad rogue hogging party space
Then use eldritch knight retard
it doesn't make sense for a coward to fight close and personal so I went with grenadier
Lmaoing at your choice.
haha
holy bombs go brrr @ demonic touch AC
>it doesn't make sense for a coward to fight close and personal
And what do you think rogues do, exactly? He uses daggers, he needs to get close.
be he's not a fighter in the LORE
Woljif knows how to fight retard, him being a coward won't change that
When does he ever show knowledge of alchemy? That's even less lore friendly
>Woljif knows how to fight retard
that's the opposite of truth
literally ask him why he just won't kill the bitch in his 1st quest
I stopped using him after he ran away for half of an act because I didn't want to waste my gear on him just encase he bitched out again
guy is anything but a coward when money is involved. i wonder if her grandma is gnomish or not?
>her
Fuck sorry meant to say His
he acts like a girl so I don't blame you
he's a perfect bottom just saying
gays get the rope
no homo, bro
my dick just slipped between his cheeks, complete and utter accident
then go pure Eldritch scoundrel. imo Owlcat should have given us the option to fully respecc companions from Lvl 1 because Cavlier Regill, Eldritch Archer or dex bow fighter Arue and sword saint Woljiff are fun as hell
Hope they decrease the number of random encounter in Rogue Trader and it's going to be perfect. Too much of it in pathfinder.
I love the game but I'll never finish it because keep wanting to restart half-way through the game
