Sure. How about when
>Negress is literal lady luck
>Ocelot shoots her tech, exposing negress as larp
>Syke! Negress is literal lady luck again
goty
Or how about when raiden
>slashes his way through hordes of tengu
>then fights a shitton MGrays
>then survives a ludicrous crash into manhattan
>then wins 1v1 against a peak snake wearing doc ock's armor that shoots missiles from its tentacles
cyborg raiden got nothing on og raiden
Or how when raiden
>has an O2 level underwater
>it doesn't deplete when codec call
>is able to chit chat with emma
>emma also holding breath underwater
it's the la-li-lu-le-woah!
I´ve been thinking about this for a while. If you see the game as a movie, this is unacceptable. The main character never faces any kind of hardships and is able to defeat every enemy he encounters, like a Gary Stu. But if you are bad at games or play at high difficulties, you will retry the mission over and over again, and by the time you suceed, the victory will feel earned, and from your perspective the character is not a Gary Stu because the challenge was actually difficult. This is one of the reasons why some videogames' plot can't be judged the same way we judge movies.
bad at vidya or l33t doesn't change the fact that one has to suspend his disbelief way too much when seeing a human (not even one of the good enfant terribles) managing to pull all that off in-world. And this excluding that for your theory to work one can't simply be good at the vidya.
It's the best in the series.
no it's not it's fricking trash. I'm tried of revisionist fricks like yourself pretending this movie disguised as a game is a masterpiece when it's not. You go through the same 3 buildings over and over. Frick this game and frick Kojima. Splinter Cell was always better
Metal Gear Solid 1 to 3's gameplay is an acquired taste, once you get it it's pretty good
splinter cell is not part of the fricking series you mongoloid.
People pretend to like MGS2 because of the "le prophetic game" meme. Same reason with Deus Ex.
it has a unique and interesting story, compelling characters, fun unique gameplay, and a nice looking aesthetic.
>Can we talk about it?
>OP vanishes
Ah Gankertards, dont ever change pls
Lights out
Colonel Radio
Turn that console off
i like it
Top 3 games ever for me. Incredible groundbreaking game.
I love everything about the plot but i got filtered hard by the gameplay.
what gameplay? you mean constantly being interrupted by over-written cutscenes. Kojima made that game shit on purpose because he's a homosexual.
what gameplay
?
the metal gear games are gamey as hell.
"what gameplay" he says. lmao
>he
did you just assumed...
what i did was unacceptable. it was then, and it is wrong now. i know there's no way to undo the pain i have caused to the LGBTQAI+ community, but i'm still learning. i am deeply sorry for the trouble i have caused.

What the frick was his problem?
A dud?!
how do you feel now that u know world is being ran by arsenal gear.
I just assumed Arsenal Gear and the Patriots are really just the israelites that run our country in real life
the israelites are an AI based on an extremly small group that died 100y ago? (this still within the context of MGS2)
I wish the "context" made sense and wasnt just oppression olympics.
Arsenal gear was supposed to be about maintaining american memes not infected with distractionary hypercapitalism disguised as european cultural marxism and wokeshit. We're drowning in a sea of truths and the AI's are deliberately making it worse.
I loved all the codec calls you get for doing weird shit like shooting seagulls or loitering in the women's bathroom. MGS had a good sense of humor.
>c-colonel I killed a dude
>raiden, he's like your 10th today
>y-yeah but he was a person, y'know
>raiden, let me tell you about my sexual life and darkest urges that will somehow relate to this in the mind of my writer
