why did this moronic word just seemingly spring up in the last week? ive never heard it before recently, and now ive seen it like 10 times this week alone
sounds like its more of a cope for people born in that age range that just don't want to be associated with the fact that their group also includes people who are like 14 lmao. same with all the bullshit the alphabet crowd comes up with. just because you b***h about it on twitter doesnt mean people should be forced to accept it
You are correct that it is cope, but it's also true. Obviously a 25 year old is gonna have more in common with a 30 year old than they will with a 10 year old. That's why people reject the corporate definitions and embrace ones that make more sense, because they more accurately reflect the experiences of people born in a certain range.
The amount of "good vs bad" oot videos should be somewhere around 100 to 1, and that 1 is packed with dislikes. It's far more likely that someone will come to the conclusion of "oot is the best game ever" from a video/environmental pressure than "oot is bad/overrated"
It took you 25 years to beat it? Are you fricking moronic?
Curious, what was so difficult for you about the shadow temple? It did have a lot of stalfos fights iirc, and the puzzles were kinda cryptic but that's about all I remember.
Spirit had those goddamn iron knuckles, and the boss was probably the hardest in the game thus far. Except forest maybe.
It is old so I'm not surprised
The only way someone who has never played most old games would find them good is if they're charmed by the retro aestetic one way or another
Case and point, Octopath Traveler 2 mogs on the entirity of mainline Final Fantasy
Really? I thought it was an absolute masterpiece back in the 90's. I did notice that the scale of the map was really dialed back because of 3d limitations (and years later I found out about the romsize / 64dd issues).
Other than that compromise it was one of the all time greats.

old games is... LE BAD
You completely missed the joke smartass
I'll always love this game, partially due to nostalgia. It's all about which Zeldas your were playing from like ages 10 - 16. That was such a magical, care-free time growing up.
My biggest criticism looking back in 2023 is I wish the combat was more fleshed out. Extremely simple and forgiving by today's standards. I think a great idea for Master Quest would be that "spectating" enemies can still attack you while you're Z-targeting the other one. That would force you to make greater use of backflips and side hops.
>I think a great idea for Master Quest would be that "spectating" enemies can still attack you while you're Z-targeting the other one. That would force you to make greater use of backflips and side hops.
Thankfully this is very easy to mod in, I'll let you know when I release my hack.

Wait, groups of enemies don't attack you if you're Z-targeting? It forces the game to one-on-one?
It never was. Neither was Majora’s Mask or Twilight prostitute. All three are overrated shit shilled by fats, pedos, and nostalgia neckbeards.
The only good Zelda games are >The Oracles >Minish Cap >BoTW >ToTK
The rest are overhyped dogshit.
You stated bullshit is more like it. MC is shit, it’s a half-baked, short version of the vastly superior Oracles accompanied by the GBA’s trash soundfont. BotW is a fricking tech demo and the most overrated Zelda game outside of OoT.
The time reset is super comfy. Makes you feel like a puppet master over the small world and its people. Those who complain just got filtered because they never discovered how to slow down time.
Why would it? >worse overall dungeon design >worse pacing due to the later sections containing numerous fetch quests >worse bosses >worse final dungeon
It has a better OST story and overworld design as well as combat but the enemy rosters are identical enough for that not to be a major factor
Still the best duology in gaming and that alone is good enough for it since it was made in a literally couple of months
These are two areas where OoT completely decimates MM. MM's cramped world where everything is crammed together, the music is a bland drone half the time and there's nothing to find that isn't some quest is really far short of what OoT offered.
Wtf r u talking abt, OOT has a fantastic OST but giants theme and the sheer atmosphere of the end of the world shatters everything in OOT. Nothing in MM feels cramped, it feels like the designers make use of every space available and areas feel big enough without getting boring due to having numerous options of traversal that are fun, lake hylia, hyrule field and zoras domain all feel big for no reason which isn’t helped by links slow walking speed.
MM also has far better aesthetics and perfectly improves OOT’s art style
I've only beaten it twice and waited a little over a decade to play it the second time. It's a damn good video game. I enjoyed it a lot more the second time around than I thought I would.
I think its a banger and played on the passage of time really fricking well. The combat is subpar but certainly not awful. The atmosphere, music, and general vibes are fricking fantastic. The wistful perspective it gives on the passage of time makes it probably one of the best coming-of-age video games ever made. Yes I have watched too many video essays, sue me
The combat is only subpar because everything seems to have been 'cut down' out of worry that new players would be confused by it. If you make enemies more aggressive it quickly becomes clear how solid and well put together the combat actually is, even if this is rarely make use of.
Man Ganker are we going through some rough times this week you did NOT need to open this can of worms
>t. zoomer born in 1996
Holy shit people can't take any sort of criticism for a game they like
You gave a nothing critique and they gave nothing statements back
Not op
I just like how these brainlets can't handle someone not liking their game
Is that you?
What criticism?
tell that to tpgays
I'm a zoomer born in 1997. I played Ocarina of Time on an emulator while I was in high school. It's a 10/10
OP is just dumb
weird how everyone that plays the game after they are a child thinks it’s just okay..
Those are zillennial birth years
any person younger than me I don't like is a zoomer
>zillennial

It's gradually becoming an accepted generation.

ok Egoraptor
>I just finished Ocarina of Time...
>It's not that good
it's not that bad *
No one says the game is bad so the "it's not that bad" makes no sense. It was a positive experience but not that good
>No one says the game is bad
the game is bad
or did you just watch some youtuber and he told you it wasn't good? Get off my board zoomer.

(you)
Sucks to be you then
ok
I finished this game for the first time this year. The Spirit Temple is kind of simple, but other than that it's amazing. 9.5/10
I always found this to be the easiest adult temple. Strange, considering how it's the intended final one.
Easiest to hardest:
>Spirit
>Fire
>Forest
>Water
>Shadow
Curious, what was so difficult for you about the shadow temple? It did have a lot of stalfos fights iirc, and the puzzles were kinda cryptic but that's about all I remember.
Spirit had those goddamn iron knuckles, and the boss was probably the hardest in the game thus far. Except forest maybe.

>back in the 90s
Reminder this game came out in the same decade as Super Mario Bros. 3.
That's how much can change in just 8 years.
Mario 3 is from 1988.
It came out in the west in 1990 though. That was its year.
It took you 25 years to beat it? Are you fricking moronic?
old games is... LE BAD

>all these seething replies
Lmao you OoT babies are sensitive.

pretty clever huh?
I don't think I ever fought enemies without Z-targeting. Crazy.
It has its design issues, but it is almost 25 years old. Meh.
It never was. Neither was Majora’s Mask or Twilight prostitute. All three are overrated shit shilled by fats, pedos, and nostalgia neckbeards.

>The Oracles

Minish Cap is overrated trash. As is BotW.
Except I don’t care about the opinions of some random MtF trans poster. I stated facts. You stated HRT induced shitposting.
You stated bullshit is more like it. MC is shit, it’s a half-baked, short version of the vastly superior Oracles accompanied by the GBA’s trash soundfont. BotW is a fricking tech demo and the most overrated Zelda game outside of OoT.
Tell your doctor to lower your HRT injections, the estrogen is rotting your brains.
>Minish Cap
hahahahahaha
scrawny eugina cooney lookin' fricker you
I love how Majora was a super rushed game that literally copy-pasted tons of characters, and it somehow ended up superior.
I know Ocarine is a far better game but I like Mask more as well, Majora is just a really fun villain.
The time reset is super comfy. Makes you feel like a puppet master over the small world and its people. Those who complain just got filtered because they never discovered how to slow down time.
Play Dinosaur Planet, the superior offering.
>I just finished Ocarina of Time...
>It's not that good
I'm 31 and I was tearing up at the last scene with Link and Zelda. Felt 100% more feels than anything I felt I'm BOTW.
>I’m 31, this reminds me of my childhood!! It’s sooo based, the feeeels are real!
Uh oh, ninten10yearolds aren't gonna be happy about this one
Didn't ask
eat my ass zoomer, nobody care about your frizzy-hair-noodle-arm-having-ass-motherfricker and your shitty ass opinion on shit.
I never understood why MM never dethroned OOT. Are tendies just that autistic?
Because both games are shit? It’s like asking why didn’t the solid pile of shit dethrone the smushy pile of shit?
Time wimit scawy and stwessful

What's with the influx of zoomers vs millennials?

shutup homosexual
It's not illegal to have bad taste, so you don't have to like it.
I just finished it too and it actually is that good
Name a better game
