I just killed Runt but I feel like I'm ready done with the game
I'm just going through the main story but I'm already level 11 and in good gear
Combat is too drawn out and immersion stuff don't add anything to the game at all
Survival, limited saves and not knowing how to read just don't matter
Sleep and food are draining at a VERY slow rate
You have enough save potions and game constantly auto-saves
You learn to read in just one cutscene
Great blogpost. Keep us posted.
>and immersion stuff don't add anything to the game at all
thanks for the heads up. that's exactly what I was worried about.
>Survival, limited saves and not knowing how to read just don't matter
>Sleep and food are draining at a VERY slow rate

hm. could maybe work inspite of that, if the game was turbo focused on the survival aspects and nothing else. I know some easy games that do "immersion" well.
The only thing that works after intro is getting dirty and keeping character clean
It can actually affect your gameplay
Cooking, hunting, reading, repairing is all just totally fricking useless
>hunting
>useless
hunting was downright broken OP last i played,
how about you kys op?
piece of shit
>get filtered
>go to Ganker to b***h
>they make fun of you because of course
>throw a tantrum and start making hate thread
>samegay just to make sure you’re being extra pathetic
It’s always the same
This but everything opposite
Kcd is the best modern immersive rpg
Hope the sequel is as good
>Sleep and food are draining at a VERY slow rate
Why is that a bad thing? it's not the fricking sims you moron.
Beginning of the game's too hard(in a fun way strangely enough) and mid-late game is too easy, simple as. Should've just kept the perks to combat related stuff instead of trivializing everything else.
You're moronic I'm so sorry to hear OP
it's that moron schizo who already got destroyed in yesterday's thread
wow! thanks! so well put, so eloquent! you should start writing game reviews. or maybe start doing video essays on youtube!
Yeah, KCD is notorious for overstaying its welcome
I like it from a roleplaying perspective.
>It is a roleplaying game because you roleplay as the main character, henry
>Daily cry about KCD thread
>mod in unlimited saves
>mod in toggle hud
>mod in disabled crossair
>spawn the sword and armor I want
Ahhh, time for some comfy kino
are there any other first person simulations like this?
i'd kill for an egyptian or roman version
something similar but set in colonial or revolutionary war america would make me cum
It would put me to sleep
mount and blade mods are the closest
I never said that game was bad you dumb fricks
I really enjoyed those 15 hours but after that game just feels underwhelming
There's a lot more quests and story but game part of the game is lacking
take a break? come back in a week and you might rekindle interest
yeah the game devolves into you just running around doing fetch quests and errands for people like every other game on the planet
still better than most games and is definitely a unique experience.
reading definitely affects your quests and playthrough lol @ the rest of your dumb complaints like combat too drawn out lol wat you kill people in seconds
Combat is unironically shit in this game.
I never got why morons out there foam at the mouth anytime someone complains about it
>hurr, you're just bad at it, just git gud!
They cannot fathom that the issue isn't how hard it is(spoiler alert!, it isn't hard at all) but how it scales.
Literally every si8ngle thing the fanbase hypes up the game with is massive cope. But I guess that's what happens when you keep simping for a game for years on end before it gets released.
One can only imagine how absolutely dogshit TES VI or GTA VI will be.
It's not amazing, but all of the complaints about it are usually about the le master strike bogeyman. If you learn to combo and clinch you almost never need to worry about master strikes.
You don't need to learn shit nor worry about shit if you have half a brain.
The combos I thought were pretty cool atfirst turned out to be underwhelming and useless. After leveling up a bit, with just two or three perks and moves you can throw around almost all npcs with ease.
This is where the game messed up. The fanboys love to hype up how realistic, hard and different the combat is. But in fact, it is not so diffcult from other games. If the enemies acted like they did at the beginning of the game(except now you have more tools at your disposal) it would be actually realistic. But that's not how it is.
It simply gives you a fake sense of improvement and the fanboys eat it up like morons.
>If you learn to combo and clinch
>Just walk up to your opponent and spam the mouse button cornering him so you can spam attacks and not get fricked
Also game obviously wasn't designed for group combat
What made the combat terrible for me is how buggy the enemies can tackle you despite being 3 meters away from you. It's like those frickers magnitize and pull you to their reach and toss you around like a wet condom
Main story is trash
You play it for the immersion
Just finnish the story the ending is great
