Spectrum, commodore, Vic, BBC, Dragon, Orac , Amstrad Amiga and St had more good games than all the consoles of the 80s and early 90s together, Games like Elite, Lords of Midnight, Knight Lore, Boulderdash,Commando, Spy Vs Spy, Cannon Fodder that's aside from the Boggit, Bored of the Rings, the Hobbit, Valhalla etc etc

Lords of Midnight was awesome. I rediscovered it a few years ago from being a vague memory, was one of the things that got me into retro gaming.

Funny, yesterday I just popped in the NES version for the first time in nearly two decades. Safe to say it's as unplayable as ever.

no that's the "other" version of NES Last Crusade. Not the Tengen one, the Ubisoft one that was literally a colorised port of the Gameboy game.
The Last Crusade version from Taito is the “best” version.
This guy beats it in around 12 minutes. It took me months as a kid.
Game got ported to every computer and console in the world and basically none of them are any good.
I think the only shit game that my parents ever got me was Superman 64. Luckily it was only rented.
