I think their point was that Game Freak could have removed more babies. You could maybe defend smooch/ele/mag since their evos are strong alreayX Togepi is a brand new line and even Pichu could be justified for mascot privilege but no one would miss the others.
please frick off back to plebbit, just because theyre on strike or whatever doesnt mean you belong here and can shit up the board. you arent wanted here
You know replying like this is even worse, right? Like, the idea of not giving someone a (You) is showing that it doesn't bother you and you weren't baited. But you are replying, so you were baited. And it bothers you so much you do the extra effort of going around giving a (You). It's literally worse. The only move is to not reply, obviously.
No, moron, their is used for multiple people or if you don't know if it's a male or female. It has always been like that. Something like latinx is always wrong because there are no fricking variables in English, it's not a math problem. If you know the gender and say "their" you probably just aren't focusing much and just trying to spit the sentence out.
I could defend most of them. >Pichu, Cleffa, and Igglybuff were definitely made for marketing; all three having mascot status during Gen 1 such as pic related >Togepi was to show the concept of Pokémon Eggs >Tyrogue linked Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan together to an evolution line >Smoochum, Elekid, Magby, Wynaut, and the Gen 4 babies are as you said, being early game versions of their evolutions if allowed to be obtained at that point in the game
Azurill I question, but I assume it's for the same reason as Pichu, Cleffa, and Igglybuff and the mizutama pun.
I also question Mantyke not so much for Mantyke itself, but why Mantine's counterpart Skarmory lacks a pre-evolution.
Also Little Cup is neat and I will defend its existence.
The biggest mistake made with pre-evolutions were requiring incense to obtain them via breeding, which has finally been fixed. Maybe next gen we'll see more after this change.
Its pretty funny that based on what is there, Ikari was basically thrown in with two other random evo chains in the middle.
I think Gulper Eels are pretty cool but it literally has nothing to do with a fricking shark. Nor does a shark make sense from a fricking Mambo.
Realistically it was a mistake anyway; they probably just had leftover evo data from when it was just the three mambos.
No, I think there was a hamer head shark too.
Or maybe I'm wrong.
the whole point of the line is that it's a fish going deeper and deeper into the ocean
it starts as a sunfish, which swims on the surface, then a shark that lives near the seafloor, then a gulper eel from the depths
a design doesn't have to be conventionally "cool" to be cool, i just find deep sea creatures really cool looking in general. it looks goofy and charming too which is an added bonus
am I the only one who thinks that these two were going to be split evolutions of the sunfish, rather than a direct 3-stage line? more like a beta version of clamperl/huntail/gorebyss
This is I think one of only two actually good mons from the spaceworld thing. Everything else people just have dogshit taste for liking. This shit is good.
It's cool enough, I suppose - I like Pinsir - but its face is really hard to figure out. I'm still not sure if that artist (Briggs?) was able to interpret it correctly.
It would be interesting to see some of these added in other Legends installments. Those seem like a perfect way to introduce cut or redesigned pokmemon from any particular generation.
truly only modern /vp/ zoomers could like pokemon designs so bad that not even the company that graced us with the shit post gen 3 wanted them in their franchise
Too much of an objectmon for me, but definitely has a lot of potential and would have liked to have seen it included, gen 2 could've used a "cool" water type addition.
Opposite problem for the Octillery we got -- the inspiration was too diluted; the beta design is perfect. I'm always very bummed out that we didn't get that design + beta tangrowth, lickilicky and that ice type line. Would've easily traded away shit like igglybuff/cleffa/aipom for that.
too blobby, Totodile is better.
Could maybe work as a baby lapras but Gen2 had more than enough of those damn things already (even if Lapras is one of the few pokemon where baby would make sense).
it's evolution is even cooler
i love the whole line and i'm really sad it was unused and replaced with stupid fricking babies
There were more babies in that dev build than made it into the final game.
I think their point was that Game Freak could have removed more babies. You could maybe defend smooch/ele/mag since their evos are strong alreayX Togepi is a brand new line and even Pichu could be justified for mascot privilege but no one would miss the others.
Their? It’s either her or his, not their.

Not even worth a (You).

shut up fat retarf
I like how you chose to attack the grammatically correct use of "their", and not the incorrect use of "it's" in
.
You know what else I find funny? Some stupid phones unironically autocorrected "Its" into "It's"
Yeah mine does that constantly

Tyrouge is good so you could just breed Hitmonchan/Hitmonlee/Hitmontop so you wouldn't need to start a new save to fight the blackbelt again
I could defend most of them.

This piece of shit?
No, I think there was a hamer head shark too.
Or maybe I'm wrong.

You are thinking of a gen 1 betamon.
yes, sorry you can't appreciate cool deep sea creatures
the whole point of the line is that it's a fish going deeper and deeper into the ocean

Stat him. For me, it's 100/140/90/60/60/55
am I the only one who thinks that these two were going to be split evolutions of the sunfish, rather than a direct 3-stage line? more like a beta version of clamperl/huntail/gorebyss
>Water/Steel Sharpedo regional based on the unused shark design
Thoughts?
based. empoleon has had it too good for too long with its unique and amazing typing
No room for a vegana in porn it’s a shit pokemon
This is I think one of only two actually good mons from the spaceworld thing. Everything else people just have dogshit taste for liking. This shit is good.
Why were they stolen from us?
He is cool and the one wearing animal clothes
Thoughts on Plux?
Gay
literally an evangelion's angel
It's cool enough, I suppose - I like Pinsir - but its face is really hard to figure out. I'm still not sure if that artist (Briggs?) was able to interpret it correctly.

Thoughts on the OG water starter Kurusu?
too blobby, Totodile is better.

Cute but final evo is just worse Lapras
