But frickin Astral Plane, space hopping, ex-mind flayer slaves with an identical ancestry that they just frickin hate for no reason is not going to fit in any campaign not specifically made for it.
So not only are they uglier, less defined Drow on the surface, digging any deeper only makes them worse for a player.

I just killed the gith after the dragon rider fricked off I had to save scum to get them to actually aggro though because I had bliss spores. It was a hard fight I guess. Those crossbow guys are c**ts. Had Lae'zal in my party for the fight and dialog. Honestly she's pretty strong at level 5. The menacing attack made a real difference in the fight even though my pc was going absolutely ape shit because of the spores
I'm using Karlach because my party was very caster heavy and she pumps, 3-4 20-30dmg attack in 1 turn at level 5-6 is insane.
Her personality is so fricking reddit though. I select her and one of the voice lines is "frick yeah", haha swearing.
This shit was 100% written by some feminist whale whos power fantasy is exactly this. Honsetly, I'm close to killing her and just using a hireling. Why the frick isnt' there a warrior/barb/pala companion???
What sucks about killing the companions is that there is no real payoff (blah blah killing a vampire gay is its own reward, yeah sure), should be able to get their tadpoles.

I assume if you want to haggle to buy things at slightly lower prices or sell things at slightly higher prices. I haven't bothered with it at all because I just pickpocket everything.
With barter you can gift/discount items to increase the npc's disposition. Maxed out it can give you a decent discount.
And of course where this really comes into play is that by gifting valuable low-weight items you max it out really fast, then you can just pickpocket them back and buy the heavy items that are hard to steal for cheaper.
Why would you let your autism force you out of content? It's like choosing to not read any dialog of characters you don't like in a book. If you want to claim it's just role-playing, why role-play as someone with aspergers?
