>Morrowind
I started playing it with a lot of expectations because people here recommended it a lot but holy frick, your characters walks 00000000000.1 miles per hour, this killed what could be a great game for me and I dropped it after 3 hours or so.
>BotW
Amazing, fricking masterpiece!
>Elden Ring
Didn't play it yet, but I'm not looking foward to seeing the same old characters and tropes for the 1000th time, I already know there a Patches and a goofy Knight of Catarina in the game, I can only imagine what else they recycled from previous games...
Morrowind tip: pick steed for your starsign and make athletics one of your major skills.
Alternatively, use a mod to increase running speed.
spam jump and morrowind is three times faster
>I'm not looking foward to seeing the same old characters and tropes for the 1000th time
then why do you play zelda games???????
Each Zelda is very different from the other (with Twilight Princess being sort of an exception).
fricking moron
He's a dumb tendie obviously
Choose Steed in character creatiopn
Be honest, you've built your character with the lowest possible speed, didn't you?
Morrowind is the best open world immersive sim that exists on the market.
BotW is a phoned in game that chases every single trend. Ingredients and cooking? yeah. Climbing stuff, yeah. Durability and loot drop system, for sure.
Don't even get me started on fricking Elden Ring, did Dark Souls need to go open world? frick no, did it do it anyway, yeah.
I like exploring
>Morrowind
empty
>Botw
empty
>Eldin Ring
empty
morrowind has a tomb or an egg-mine every 20 meters, and most of them have a story or at least unique loot
This is untrue in my experience. Most of them tombs, ruins, mines etc are bland and vanilla. The ones that are good are real good (Ibar-Dad being the best) but most of the dungeons are a few rooms of nothing where a bonewalker will drain all of your strength.
>morrowind
>empty
open world homiez be like "AYOOOOO THIS SHIT BUSSIN WTFFF"
open world with a campaign that dynamically evolves the world around you as well as featuring metroidvania elements to go back and discover hidden regions in past exploration > modern day ass-backwards ubisoft style shitterboxes where you chase down copypasted collectibles in a stagnant world and the story feels like a side quest
botw is just ubisoft shit with a Nintendo wrapper. it's a little depressing and very enlightening to see how it was lapped up. people really don't care about gameplay or world design.
Play OpenMW
What's that?
Alternative modern engine to play Morrowind with.
Essentially, you have your regular install of Morrowind, but instead of running it through it's old game engine from 2002, you can use OpenMW to read the game data and launch the game through OpenMW. It's much more stable, has built in quality of life features, better AI for NPCs, expanded scripting and better built in graphic features, and more. A lot of limitations of the original Morrowind engine have been de-hardcoded
The past few months in particular have seen a big upgrade in terms of shaders / graphics.
the one in the middle is utter pig shit and completely empty and soulless. an empty Shitendo tech demo for their 2003 tech.
>Morrowind
Boring game with way too much reading and long winded directions
>morrowind
probably my favorite game of all time
>botw
never owned a cosole
never played a zelda game
dont really have a desire to get one
>elden ring
played DS and beaten it but didnt get all the hype around it so kind of stepped away from souls like shit
botw is probably the weakest of these three games but I still enjoyed it a lot
pretty disappointed that the rushed sequel is the same world with some islands in the sky
Fricking based. Three of my favourite games of all time that all mindbroke Ganker
You have small brain
>railroad good
that's okay
isn't adventure a noun and latin
>skyrim
>samey environments because different biomes not allowed
What the frick are you even talking about, you can go from rocky arid mountain, to swamp, to tundra, to glaciers, to hot springs, to autunm forest in the span of like 20 minutes of gameplay while travelling
>skyrim is better
>genshin is not only better, it makes botw an engine demo
>elden ring is kino
>gacha gay
>praises skyrim
Dont look up when it rains
i don't like open world game anymore. after playing witcher 3, death stranding, rdr2, and botw i feel burnt out. are there any open world games that are actually good?
Morrowind. MW and breath of the wild are the only open world games in existence that actually live up to their promise and filter normies as a result
Playing through ER right now and all I can think about the whole time I'm in the overworld is how I wish it was just more areas like Stormveil Castle or the Capital
dont worry, it gets increasingly dense
me too those games kick ass xD
I only really liked RDR2 for being an open-world cowboy simulator but I liked it a lot in that regard.
>play morrowind
>every npc has 5000 word essay vomit
8/10
6/10
10/10
I loved Breath of the Wild. FRICK the shrines. I enjoyed them, but FRICK them. All the work they did on that should have gone into making proper dungeons.
2 doesn't seem to be fixing this.
Name three games more overhated from contrarians
