Elebits was great, it was like the perfect child friendly FPS. I loved those spiky homies who would follow you around if you threw too much shit like a sperg. The bonus missions got fricking hard too.
One of the rare examples where a DS sequel was also good. I remember I got this shortly after the launch of the Wii, played it in between sessions of Twilight Princess and Wii Sports. I even got this preorder plush, it's in a box I have somewhere. I should find it. Why does Konami ignore the nostalgia?
Did anyone else ever go into the Edit mode, pick a map with a wide open/enclosed space, spawn in all the different cars/vehicles, crank up the capture gun power and unpause the setup freeze frame to just go ham crashing everything into each other like a demolition derby?
People remember Elebits as the game Tsukushi, the author of Made in Abyss, made art for.
I remember it as one of the two good Wii launch titles
KYS you fricking pedo

idk what Made in Abyss is but I do love Elebits (Wii)
Honestly Elebits was a weird fricking game
I miss when games were this soulful, like Chibi Robo or Katamari
>Chibi Robo or Katamari
Really underrated games.
Are there any other games like these?
I don't even know if there's a term for weird, experimental early to mid 2000s japanese games like those three
Dewy's Adventure (same developer as Elebits) and Little King's Story (quirky Pikmin)
>2006 Wii game
OP, you are the zoomer.
Lack of reading comprension much?
There's no law that prevented gen Xers or millenials from owning and playing Wii games.
Yeah but if you played them as a kid, AKA the target audience, you're a zoomer. Unless you think 6 year olds in 2006 were millennials.
So basically what you're saying is that 14 year olds aren't allowed to play E rated games. Got it.
Yeah sure, let's go with that.
Well, I guess I wasn't allowed to play Elebits back when it came out then. Consider throwing yourself off a bridge.
The Munchables. I'm hoping that the Wii nostalgia starts hitting soon so we can get ports of these games.
My name is Kai. And I HATE Elebits...
electricity and cars only work because of elebits you know
not sure why the narration has been stuck in my head all these years

I preferred to make shitty dominoes tracks and rube goldberg machines in the editor
