Apparently, Takahashi intended for Nia to be the only girl and for Pneuma to stay dead but the rest of the dev team talked him out of it saying that this would conflict with the tone of the rest of the game, so instead he went with that scene in which the girl he picked in Morytha is the one who talks to him after she's reborn, but then 3 had to go with both girls because choosing one would invalidate the other ending, and at that point what is one more girl in the harem?

Yes but the combat takes a few chapters to fully open up with 3 party members. Take screenshots of the tutorial screens cause they don't come back. Story is more intimate and best of all 3 imo but the protag being a manlet can turn people off. He's a great character though.
Pros and cons for each. The dub didn't have direction or even get to see the scenes they were doing so it's hit or miss in the beginning. It gets better later on but some people prefer sub to avoid Rex's scream during early cutscenes. The others are pretty cool and you get all the accents. Sub I've heard is fine but nothing special across the board. I personally like the dub outside of the aforementioned cutscenes which are mostly in the beginning but they are pretty bad (like 90s anime dub bad). If you can handle it I'd go for dub since they get the same actors for 1 2 and 3.

Yes but the combat takes a few chapters to fully open up with 3 party members. Take screenshots of the tutorial screens cause they don't come back. Story is more intimate and best of all 3 imo but the protag being a manlet can turn people off. He's a great character though.
Any preference between sub and dub
Pros and cons for each. The dub didn't have direction or even get to see the scenes they were doing so it's hit or miss in the beginning. It gets better later on but some people prefer sub to avoid Rex's scream during early cutscenes. The others are pretty cool and you get all the accents. Sub I've heard is fine but nothing special across the board. I personally like the dub outside of the aforementioned cutscenes which are mostly in the beginning but they are pretty bad (like 90s anime dub bad). If you can handle it I'd go for dub since they get the same actors for 1 2 and 3.
