At what point other than maybe Wii Fit and your first time playing Wii Sports Boxing did you ever get a workout playing the Wii? The idea that you had to use full body movements with every single game never made sense to me because that was never the case to begin with. Somehow I found a way to relax playing Wii games while others seem to think playing it means you have to go to the gym after work.
Get a switch. The joycons are 100% better than this shit.
Then buy either Fitboxing 2.Fitboxing Fist of the north star or Fitboxing with Miku Hatsune.
Those games exercise your whole body.
This console almost ruined oneechabara for me. The controls were actually good and responsive. It also had as many enemies show up as dead rising did, but on the wii without crashing.

I doubted this until I actually tried it tbh.
I'm surprised that hardly any fps games on console use it, it's far more intuitive than stick aiming.
It's "intuitive" but doesn't actually get close to actual pointing devices, so the kind of people playing on console would much rather just not disable aim assist for it (since that's what multiplayer games that DO support it do)
I missed the pointer, for metroid prime 3. You should stop using the term motion controls.
They were great to box with. Could have been nice to have swordplay with. I guess the controls were too physical for fatties. Fair enough for disabled people, not so for everyone else. Joypads are the worst way to play games. A pointer is even better than a mouse to aim with, as well as navigate in general. We probably won't see the wii's controls again. Next step is gloves and VR/AR.
