Rolled 7 (1d20)
rollan
>Second born child
5d20 his siblings gender
Rolled 14, 8, 14, 13, 3 = 52 (5d20)

>Firstborn sister
>Thirdborn brother
>Fourthborn sister
>Fifthborn sister
>Sixthborn brother
Now 1d20 for where he was born
Rolled 7 (1d20)
alright here we go
>In a friend’s home
>BiMod: 2
1d100 to see if anything unusual happened when he was born
Rolled 43 (1d100)
>Nothing unusual
Good for our lizard dude.
1d20 for number occupations his parents had
bump
Rolled 17 (1d20)
Ehem...
>Both parents within the household have an occupation. Go to the Occupation Tables (Tables 420- 423) and make a die roll on the table appropriate for the parent's culture and social status for each parent.
2d10 to see what type of work the parents do
Rolled 10, 8 = 18 (2d10)
Lizardman noble is a go
>Dad:Middle Class Occupation
>Mom: Special Occupation
2d20 to see what they are
Rolled 13, 20 = 33 (2d20)
Curious
>Dad: An overseer: a supervisor of others. Use table 313a to select the industry which he oversees.
>Mom: Ship Builder: A maker of boats and ships
I need another d10 and 20 to see what dad is a supervisor of
Rolled 10 (1d10)
>Middle Class Occupation
Just need the d20
Rolled 15 (1d20)
D'oh shid, dad's important
>Scribe: can read and write fluently in several languages and has legible, possibly elegant handwriting. Can probably make ink if he has to.
So dad oversees scribes and mom builds ships. They might have been middle class if they didn’t have six mouths to feed.
So d3 for how many items of note for the parents
Rolled 1 (1d3)
Rolling
>1
So d20 for what it is. Then d6 on who it applies to(1-3 Dad, 4-6 Mom)
Rolled 19 (1d20)
>NPC was horribly wounded once. Select the type of injury on 863 Serious Wounds.
That’s unfortunate. 1d20 for what it is
Rolled 11 (1d20)
>An injury heals badly, causing loss of
attribute points.
>-1 Strength and Dexterity
Poor Ma can’t build ships like she used to
d3 for how many childhood events
Rolled 3 (1d3)
here we go
>3
d20 for each event
Rolled 7 (1d20)
Rolling for one of them
>Learn an unusual skill. Select skill with 866 Unusual Skills [N]
>1 Neutral Trait
1d20 to see what he learned
Rolled 4 (1d20)
>Reading for enjoyment
d4 for his ranks in it and d10 how much he enjoys it
bump
Rolled 3 (1d4)
I’m a dummy
>Reading Rank 2
So d10 now
Rolled 5 (1d10)
>Sporadic and Variable. Interest runs in spurts, intense at times, nonexistent at others. Character will easily spend 1% of his total income on this hobby.
d20 for the next childhood event
Rolled 19 (1d20)
>Something good happens to the char acter. Roll a d4 on the subtable below
to select the event [L].
>1 Lightside trait
1d4 to see what good thing happened to him
Rolled 3 (1d4)
>Something wonderful occurs. Determine what hap 35 pens on table 625: Some thing Wonderful.
d20 for what happened to him
Rolled 10 (1d20)
>Reroll, but do not add in the character's
SolMod
Another 1d20
Rolled 17 (1d20)
>The character becomes renowned for his occupation. Clients from around the world seek his services. The influx of business allows the character to increase his Social Status by 1d2 lev els (but not above Wealthy).
From rags to riches. 1d2 to see how wealthy he became
Rolled 2 (1d2)
>Well to do
>SolMod:5
And last d20 for his childhood
Rolled 8 (1d20)
>A special age-specific event occurs.
1d20 for what it is
Rolled 3 (1d20)
>Character has a collection of related things, such as pretty rocks, animal
skulls, dolls, sticks, leaves, etc
Yeah, started reading as a hobby, became upper middle class and now he started collecting stuff.
Now for his adolescence. d3 for how many events for that
Rolled 3 (1d3)
alrighty-o
>3
3 events. So d20 for the first one
Rolled 6 (1d20)
>Family has the following attitudes to wards the character. Roll a d6 once on the subtable below.
1d6 to see how they feel about him
Rolled 2 (1d6)
>Character is unloved
>1 darkside trait
That’s kinda fricked up. 1d20 for his next event
Rolled 9 (1d20)
lizardmen are not known for being loving parents
>A special age-specific event occurs.
d20 for what it is
Rolled 12 (1d20)
excellent
>The character becomes well-known, even famous for the occurrence of an event in his life. Reroll the event on table 208a: Significant Events of Child hood & Adolescence
>1 Neutral Trait
Another d20 for he got famous. I feel like this is the making of a Lizard bard
Rolled 9 (1d20)
Rolling
>A special age-specific event occurs.
Another d20.
Rolled 16 (1d20)
pls no bard
> A race-specific event. To select the event, elves go to section 627, dwarves to section 628, halflings to section 629 and monsters to section 630. If the character is human, then he has an encounter with nonhumans and befriends them. Roll the type on 751 Nonhumans
1d10 for what happened
Rolled 6 (1d10)
> Character befriends a human. Goto 745 Others to determine the type of person befriended.
Another d10 for his friend
Rolled 2 (1d10)
> Known Folks. These are persons who the character knows, though they may not be close friends.
Now a d6
Rolled 5 (1d6)
> Old friend. This is someone
who the character has not seen for a number of years.
So he became famous for befriending a human that’s…an old friend? I’m not sure how that exactly works.
Last d20 for his teenage years
Rolled 13 (1d20)
> An exotic event occurs. Select the event with 642 Exotic Events
So 1d20 for what happened
Rolled 17 (1d20)
> A vicious animal attacks the character on a moonlit night. Friends drive the beast off, but the character finds that he is cursed with lycanthropy, to be come a similar beast under the full moon. The GM will select the type of beast the character becomes. Treat this as a nasty curse.Under no circumstances should it benefit the character to be a lycanthrope
Fricking hell he’s a werewolf.
didnt we have 3 childhood events
Rolled 5 (1d6)
roll for parent
oh that means we're the firstborn son
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night!!
Reminds me of my gharial lizardman knockoff chinese character from a oneshot a while back. His Jade Dragon emperor was an actual dragon.
So to sum his early life
>Started reading as a hobby
>Somehow became renown for his occupation thus bringing his family out poverty to well to do
>Starts a collection of something
>Become a teenager, family doesn’t love him
>Gets famous for befriending a human that’s an old friend
>gets attack by some animal and becomes a lycanthrope
Time for him to get a job. d10 for what its gonna be
Rolled 8 (1d10)
>An occupation selected from the oc cupation table appropriate to the character's Culture Level.
So 1d10+5
Rolled 1 + 5 (1d10 + 5)
>Lower Class Occupation
1d20 what he does
Rolled 19 (1d20)
>Craftsman
Another d20 for what his craft is
Rolled 8 (1d20)
>Carpenter: builds with wood.
So he has his job. Time to see how his adult life goes. d3 for how many events
Rolled 2 (1d3)
>2 events
2d20 for the first event
Rolled 9, 2 = 11 (2d20)
now for the spicy stuff. rolling
>A race-specific event. To select the event, elves go to section 627, dwarves to section 628, halflings to section 629 and monsters to section 630. If the character is human, then he has an encounter with nonhumans and befriends them. Find out the type with 751 Nonhumans
>1 random trait
Okay so 1d10 for what it is
Rolled 3 (1d10)
>Character participates in several raids against humankind in which he slays 1d3 significant opponents. He gains at least Rank 4 skill in one of his natural or cultural weapons.
So 1d3 for how many enemies he made
Rolled 2 (1d3)
>2 enemies
Anyways 2d20 for last event
wasnt SolMod 5?
It is. I added it to the result. 11 would have been he decided to travel
oh you are using the original version then i think
Wait there’s different versions of this?
yeah yours is the second edition
iirc the first edition rated homosecuality as a mental affliction or some such thing
That‘s wild
Rolled 12, 1 = 13 (2d20)
u dont know nothing yet
rollan
>An exotic event occurs. Select the event on section 642 Exotic Events
>1 lightside trait
1d20 for what happened
Rolled 12 (1d20)
gimme the 20 now
> While near a river after a mighty storm has passed, the character discovers a waterlogged old chest, sealed with rusted chains and weighted with stones. Upon opening the chest, the character discovers the limp, be draggled, and apparently drowned form of a young animal. The chest looks as if it has been underwater for years, but apparently the animal is only recently dead. Moments later, the creature's eyes open and it begins to calmly and casually clean and preen itself. The character has acquired an unusual pet
d20 for what it is and d3 for how many abilities it has
Rolled 18 + 1 (1d20 + 1)
Rolled 1 (1d3)
frick. 18 counts. rolling for d3
> A big cat (lion, tiger, etc.)
>1 ability
1d20 for its special ability
Rolled 7 (1d20)
not OP but
>Pet can use magic spells
noice! if we pick a jaguar then we're warhams slann-like
What
said. So to sum up his adult life
>Attacked a human settlement and made two enemies
>found a spell casting jaguar
On to his values. First off the most valued person in his life is 2d10
Rolled 5, 1 = 6 (2d10)
>Character's patron (if none, roll again)
He doesn't have one so reroll
Rolled 7, 3 = 10 (2d10)
>Lover
Good for him, 1d20 for his most valued thing
Rolled 15 (1d20)
> Legacy. Select from 858 Gifts & Legacies
Need another 1d20 for what it is
Rolled 8 (1d20)
sounds good
> A locked or sealed book.
Now for his most valued abstraction. 1d20 for that
Rolled 1 (1d20)
> Family, love of and loyalty to one's kin.
Ironic since his family doesn’t love him. Now 3d100 to see the strength of his values
Rolled 100, 99, 53 = 252 (3d100)
>Loved One Value: Obsessive
>Locked/Sealed Book Value: Obsessive
> Family, love of and loyalty to one's kin Value: Average
Next up is his personality
what do we roll
Sorry so he has
> 2 Darkside Trait
>2 Neutral Trait
>2 Lightside trait
>1 random trait
So I'll use this for random trait.
>No personality trait develops.
So the dice for the actual traits are weird. It's 1d4/1d10 for each one.
Rolled 2 (1d4)
So 6d4/6d10?
So first Darkside trait
>Argumentative: starts arguments
5d4/5d10 more
Rolled 4 (1d4)
> Egotistic: proud and conceited.
Another d4/d10 for his neutral trait
Rolled 4 (1d4)
>Passive: accepts things without resist ing them.
Another d4/d10 for the second one
Rolled 1 (1d4)
>Precise: always exacting.
That’s it for his neutral traits. Now d4/d10 for his lightside ones
Rolled 4 (1d4)
>Diplomatic: careful to say the right thing
And one last d4/d10.
Rolled 3 (1d4)
>Dependable: does duties reliably, responsibly.
And I believe that’s everything
nice!
Rolled 8 (1d10)
i could assemble a personality from those rolls
Rolled 8 (1d10)
Rolled 2 (1d10)
Rolled 10 (1d10)
Rolled 2 (1d10)
>Argumentative: starts arguments
> Egotistic: proud and conceited.
>Passive: accepts things without resisting them.
>Precise: always exacting.
>Diplomatic: careful to say the right thing
>Dependable: does duties reliably, responsibly.
A lot of these seem contradictory
yes but that can mean a certain moodiness and i would tie that to the moon cycle given his affliction
Or it could be half are his normal personality and the other half is werewolf personality
does it have to be a wolf tho? wouldnt weredraco be more fitting?
It doesn’t have to be a wolf just tossed it out cause thats most common. Weredrake would be fine too
that sounds fricking scary tbqh
>hey look at this shitty lone lizardmen bro
>let's REKT him and take his spear
>OH NO
>OH NO NO NO NO
>AAAARGGHHHH GARY SAVE ME!!!!!!
So dude is a ranger right? He has a pet and nothing in his backstory makes me feel like he’d be a different class
i'm not into D&D but i guess to me that could work. id play a bit fast and loose with the outcome and say he's a lizardman carpenter who got outcast by his family after he became a weredraco which made his gentle self aggressive around full moon
of course he could also be a were jaguar instead if his pet bit him
in summary pretty decent rolls, ive had much weirder characters before
Perhaps he gets on poorly with his immediate family, but his clan is still something he holds to be of importance to him?
1st ed is probably somewhere on the share thread. pic related
Rolled 6 (1d100)
And then everyone clapped.
Rolled 10 (1d10)
That was all for Darkside obviously.
