>An exotic event occurs. Select the event on section 642 Exotic Events
>1 lightside trait
1d20 for what happened
Rolled 12 (1d20)
gimme the 20 now
> While near a river after a mighty storm has passed, the character discovers a waterlogged old chest, sealed with rusted chains and weighted with stones. Upon opening the chest, the character discovers the limp, be draggled, and apparently drowned form of a young animal. The chest looks as if it has been underwater for years, but apparently the animal is only recently dead. Moments later, the creature's eyes open and it begins to calmly and casually clean and preen itself. The character has acquired an unusual pet
d20 for what it is and d3 for how many abilities it has
Rolled 18 + 1 (1d20 + 1)
Rolled 1 (1d3)
frick. 18 counts. rolling for d3
> A big cat (lion, tiger, etc.)
>1 ability
1d20 for its special ability
Rolled 7 (1d20)
not OP but
>Pet can use magic spells
noice! if we pick a jaguar then we're warhams slann-like
What
said. So to sum up his adult life
>Attacked a human settlement and made two enemies
>found a spell casting jaguar
On to his values. First off the most valued person in his life is 2d10
Rolled 5, 1 = 6 (2d10)
>Character's patron (if none, roll again)
He doesn't have one so reroll
Rolled 7, 3 = 10 (2d10)
>Lover
Good for him, 1d20 for his most valued thing
Rolled 15 (1d20)
> Legacy. Select from 858 Gifts & Legacies
Need another 1d20 for what it is
Rolled 8 (1d20)
sounds good
> A locked or sealed book.
Now for his most valued abstraction. 1d20 for that
Rolled 1 (1d20)
> Family, love of and loyalty to one's kin.
Ironic since his family doesn’t love him. Now 3d100 to see the strength of his values
Rolled 100, 99, 53 = 252 (3d100)
>Loved One Value: Obsessive
>Locked/Sealed Book Value: Obsessive
> Family, love of and loyalty to one's kin Value: Average
Next up is his personality
what do we roll
Sorry so he has
> 2 Darkside Trait
>2 Neutral Trait
>2 Lightside trait
>1 random trait
So I'll use this for random trait.
>No personality trait develops.
So the dice for the actual traits are weird. It's 1d4/1d10 for each one.
Rolled 2 (1d4)
So 6d4/6d10?
So first Darkside trait
>Argumentative: starts arguments
5d4/5d10 more
Rolled 4 (1d4)
> Egotistic: proud and conceited.
Another d4/d10 for his neutral trait
Rolled 4 (1d4)
>Passive: accepts things without resist ing them.
Another d4/d10 for the second one
Rolled 1 (1d4)
>Precise: always exacting.
That’s it for his neutral traits. Now d4/d10 for his lightside ones
Rolled 4 (1d4)
>Diplomatic: careful to say the right thing
And one last d4/d10.
Rolled 3 (1d4)
>Dependable: does duties reliably, responsibly.
And I believe that’s everything
nice!
Rolled 8 (1d10)
i could assemble a personality from those rolls
Rolled 8 (1d10)
Rolled 2 (1d10)
Rolled 10 (1d10)
Rolled 2 (1d10)
>Argumentative: starts arguments
> Egotistic: proud and conceited.
>Passive: accepts things without resisting them.
>Precise: always exacting.
>Diplomatic: careful to say the right thing
>Dependable: does duties reliably, responsibly.
A lot of these seem contradictory
yes but that can mean a certain moodiness and i would tie that to the moon cycle given his affliction
Or it could be half are his normal personality and the other half is werewolf personality
does it have to be a wolf tho? wouldnt weredraco be more fitting?
It doesn’t have to be a wolf just tossed it out cause thats most common. Weredrake would be fine too
that sounds fricking scary tbqh
>hey look at this shitty lone lizardmen bro
>let's REKT him and take his spear
>OH NO
>OH NO NO NO NO
>AAAARGGHHHH GARY SAVE ME!!!!!!
So dude is a ranger right? He has a pet and nothing in his backstory makes me feel like he’d be a different class
i'm not into D&D but i guess to me that could work. id play a bit fast and loose with the outcome and say he's a lizardman carpenter who got outcast by his family after he became a weredraco which made his gentle self aggressive around full moon
of course he could also be a were jaguar instead if his pet bit him
in summary pretty decent rolls, ive had much weirder characters before
Perhaps he gets on poorly with his immediate family, but his clan is still something he holds to be of importance to him?
1st ed is probably somewhere on the share thread. pic related
Rolled 6 (1d100)
And then everyone clapped.
Rolled 10 (1d10)
That was all for Darkside obviously.
