I need help, I'm playing pokemon Platinum and I'm trying to catch the pokemon Skorupi in the great marshes, I keep changing the date on my DS but it isn't showing up, is there anyway to make it faster and more quicker? I've been doing it for days now.

Sinnoh is a good region if you only play platinum and don't want any of the pokemon in the great marsh, honey trees or spiritomb.

Sneedot, Nuzleaf, Shiftry, Surskit, and Masquerain are also time-gated in Emerald when they weren't in RS

i definitely think theres a difference between what are basically morning/night encounters that are guaranteed and something like the honey tree where you wait i think 12 hours for a single encounter or having a pokemon only available once a week

The ice cave pokemon are permanently locked out on retail copies of the game, so are Sneedot and Surskit in Emerald

Sneedot and Surskit also require you to wait 24 hours for a chance of getting them to appear within the next 72 hours, but you can't control for it or roll multiple at once. They're way worse than the honey shit

don't you also have to delete the save if you change the battery for shoal cave to work properly or was that only for other timed stuff in gen 3

Vespiquen and Drifloon are fine. Great Marsh guys aren't a big deal.

              It's true.
I think you might have meant to say Gliscor, not Gligar.

are you clinically moronic or something

Of course, only a moronic disingenuous homosexual would compare a fully evolved mon to a nfe

holy fricking christ, why does drapion have the same stats as an unevolved baby
skorupi evolves super late and then gligar gets its own evo

Set your clock to a minute or two BEFORE midnight
Boot game, allow to roll into midnight
This works, I promise you. Don't listen to goons who say you can't change your clock, they just never figured out the exploit.
