I'm about to wrap up my playthrough of a beta Gold romhack (at the "superboss" right now) and I'm really bittersweet about it. It made me love the game like I hadn't since these first released, I had such a great time.

Still remember playing the jap version of this on emulator before it released internationally during the late RBY days.
Thought it was some sort of fangame due to all the new mons and weird new music compared to only KANTO existing at the time.
