Can someone tell me what the deal with paradox mons turned out to be, no way in hell do the legendary beasts have dinosaur ancestors so time travel is out of the question.

We don't actually know because our only sources of information are people who don't fully understand the true nature of the Tera Crystals.

        >Can someone tell me what the deal with paradox mons turned out to be
What you see is what you get. They are designs pulled from a sketchy magazine that claims they are ancestors/descendants of present-day species. The professor believes this, despite the mountain of evidence from Heath's book that suggests they aren't the same.
So all we really landed on was the same debate from before, except some exceptionally illiterate people don't understand how timelines work and think it's any different of an explanation from what the base-game gave. The professor still believes they come from other time periods and that pulling them to the present creates a new timeline where they were pulled, and no other source in the game seems to reaffirm or suggest this is what actually went down because we're talking to a parallel version of the real professor that still believes it.

Row, Row, Row Your boat is a children’s song. Sung as a lullaby and when learning music. The lyrics to the song are “… life is but a dream.”
This children’s song has the same message as the flavor text. So the guy saying it is below philosophy is saying this line is nothing special. Seems meaningful but isn’t.
A child would likely know this before grade school.

It's supposed to mean that Terapagos turns the big desires(aka dreams) of people(Heath, Sada, Turo, and Briar)(though not Kieran for some reason) and Pokemon(your -raidon at the lake)
And it fulfils that with the concept that there are infinite realities so everyones dreams are a reality somewhere

          Yes they are.
          >in japanese, they're known as the mugen duo rather than the eon duo
          >mugen has a double meaning in japanese depending on the kanji used, either infinite (無限) or dream/fantasy (夢幻)

    >reality imagination rocks were used to create an AI that couldn't exist, AI developed time machine
    >funny paradox pokemon existed for almost 200 years probably based on schizoid tabloid material
    >several paradox mon are based on impossible concepts like prehistoric dog trio meaning time travel is bullshit
    >you create a paradox loop with the books

Real morons know both imagination rocks and time travel is canon simultaneously.

You don't create a loop at all, the time travel is between timelines set in the past and the future, there's no time travel happening in a single timeline at any point of the game.

      >inb4 but the professor
The AI doesn't know about us until we pick their dragon despite having the same memories as the real professor. The real professor also never lost their treasured childhood book in the crystal pond and never got to know for sure they were in Kitakami.
The professor from The Indigo Disk is of another world, not our world's past, and our professor meet another world's child, not us.

        DREAMS MAKE TIME TRAVEL CREAMS

      Anonymous

Nah time travel lost because the paradox pokemon were never from our world's timeline, it doesn't matter if it's the past, the present or the future, Violet abominations will never bea thing in the games' worlds, they are a fever dream only real in bizarre alternative universes.

      Anonymous

Time travel was the original concept that GF wanted to do, but they were forced to obscure it due to China's laws about time travel. This is why some parts of the story imply the imagination stuff, and it's also why Khu was so insistent on it.

Ultimately, time travel was the original cannon, but now it's intentionally contradictory (a paradox) in order to appease China.
