I really fricking hate the fashion in this game. It pisses me off so much that it makes me not want to play it. Also frick limited respec. I have all these cool weapons and I can't even use 99% of them unless I decide to farm up to level 250.

Eh? Are you levelling sissy stats like vigor? Shameful
you need to unless you want to get one shotted by everything in the end game
git gud
just don't take damage bro
you literally can't. The game's combat is not designed to be able to dodge and evade damage preemptively through visual cues and reflexes, but rather by memorizing attack patterns. Any person who can do no hit runs in Souls game can do it because they were hit thousands of times before and they now know exactly when to press dodge to avoid the attack. That's not a feasible thing for a first time or even second or third time regular playthrough, so if you aren't moronic and you want an enjoyable experience, you will level vigor.
chill, it was a shit post
You explained the whole problem with elden ring though, with dark souls 3 bosses, the way they were designed, it was much more feasible for a person to focus really hard and if they got lucky they could first try bosses as advanced as Orphan of Kos, and I know this, becfause I saw a guy actually do it, even though it was his first time fighting it. With ER this is impossible, to attacks get so complicated and complex, the combos so long and track you so well, the AOEs are so unforgiving, that it's fricking impossible to do shit unless you are seeing it two miles away since you've repeated the fight multiple times, it's now less of skill check and less of a memory check and that's fricking lame.
less of a skill check and MORE of a memory check*
Just to proove my point I don't have anything but to mention bosses such as Maliketh, Malenia, Radagon, or even good bosses such as Godfrey, who have elements of impossibility to predict.
Malenia speaks for herself, everyone knows, Maliketh and his constant zooming around the aren as well as his black blade AOE that forsome fricking reason doesn't come out from his blade but rather from the blade in front of it which is moronic and unknowable, Godfrey's tremors (to a lesser extent these apply to crucible knights too but godfrey can actually make the entire ground a damage zone, also, even if it's BS to predict these are fun and not too unforgiving so he's very fun anyways because the rest of his attacks are fair and cool), and Radagon and his teleportation that is literally impossible to predictand dodge, it's impossible to dodge often times even when you can predict he might do it in the following second, because your character is either stuck in animation or a jump, and he does it too fast or comboes it.
Let's not get into Elden Beasts elden stars.
People will say shit like this and then end up like this moron.
Didn't even die to the buttslam aoe rot. What a loser...
That move is so easy to avoid and has so many recovery frames that it's practically free damage whenever it does it.
bruh, you can make a 55/55 quality build with 50 vigor and few points in either faith or intelligence to wield over 80% of all weapons while still staying at level 150, then you can also add great runes and talismans to further boost stats to have even more options
uhhh buyhhhhh muh fashion buhhh mu respec duuuuuuuuuhhhhhh wut is build buhhhhhhhhhhhh
Elden Ring has great fashion, my issue is, once again, the characters in Souls games are frickin ugly.
it doesn't if you want something unique that all doesn't look stupid. and I'm not wearing enemy or npc armor, because that' lame.
Dark Souls 3 was somehow better for mixing-and-matching.
because everything was the same shade of grey
3 didn't bring in too many interesting sets into the series but it had the advantage of having access to many classics from previous games like the black/silver knight, dragonslayer, wolf knight, elite knight, brass, favor, thorns, sun, alva, faraam, etc.
shame it didn't have all the best sets from 2 like the alonne knight set or the rampart golem armor
3 was using sets from 2 prior games including its own. Granted it did exclude some. I really liked Vendricks outfit from 2.
>Game is dogshit
>Complain on Ganker that game is dogshit
Fromdrones never learn
I just use generic knight armor and a zweihander. Trying any other build is too much of a headache. In terms of spreading out stats and fashion. And casting sucks for someone like me that exclusively two hands and gets in the boss's face because switching between grips is too clunky in this game. The boss will already close his opening and rape my face by the time I press R1 and trangle and then slowly wind up an offensive incantation.
How many times do you seriously need to respec?
Make different characters for different builds, repeat playthroughs don't take as long if you know what you're going for. You can also speedrun the big disabled dragon and farm the bird in the blood area which cuts down playtime by a lot.
are you one of those dorks that NEEDs to get 80 in a damage stat to feel "viable"?
>limited respec
Are you moronic? There's like 30 per game cycle you spastic c**t
Also you lads all sound like you really suck at this game...
Yeah if tha guy could make a legitimate complaint he would bring up the availability of upgrade materials as the thing hindering weapon variety, not the respec
The quantity just exemplifies the pointlessness of having a finite respec material per cycle in set locations. If its more than you would ever need, why not make it a 5/10% drop rate on something or free.
i made several PvP characters at various levels because it that was easier than repeatedly respeccing to try a new setup.
works on my machine
the game's got great sets but mix and matching is hell because almost all of them have so striking colours and outlandish designs
i wish we got AC level customization
I just started playing this game, I beat like 5 bosses or so, and I don't really get it.
The open world doesn't really seem to do much for the "souls" format. I just wish I was playing BB or Sekiro again
Elden Ring's wardrobe lacks variety. It has a lot of color/detail variations of the same few base shapes and designs. Dark Souls, even Dark Souls 3's original armor sets, had greater variety.
