I really wanna know the thought process of CA. >Warhammer games are popular but the historical side has been neglected

I really wanna know the thought process of CA.
>Warhammer games are popular but the historical side has been neglected
>What if we develop historical games...but we add some minor stuff to appeal to fantasy fans like overpowered hero dudes
Did nobody thought that this would appeal to neither side?

This is actually a sound idea though. It's the execution that sucked.

The only fantasy worthwhile is half history half mythology.

    What's there to know?
For ages WHFB fans have been wanting for a vidya adaptation, and while 40K was getting numerous titles, they were left in the dust. Horned Rat and Dark Omen were cool, but have grown old. The most logical replacement was Total War and mods doing WH were super popular. Once the license went out for grabs CA jumped onto it and made mad bucks. More than ever on history titles. So they kept pumping it out. And they had the moronic idea that quasi-history titles with fantasy element will get them the broadest appeal. And that is not the case, cause fantasy fans don't just want ANY fantasy, they want the setting they are invested in, while history fans don't want any fantasy at all. So here we are. CA are just dumb, cause they rely on whatever suited up detached from reality market analysts present them with and make a game that's only appeal is on paper.

Most of TW:W players aren't tabletop fans and never owned a single model let alone played the wargame. They are casuals who are new to both Total War and Warhammer.

      >cause fantasy fans don't just want ANY fantasy, they want the setting they are invested in, while history fans don't want any fantasy at all
problem is that their games are just low quality both historic and fantasy

Your reminder that everything wrong with modern Total War games(2013-Current Year) started in Rome 2; a 'historical' game. CA ruined Warhammer as much as the other way round

      not with Empire?

Empire has it's flaws, but it fits in the older gen (Med 2 , Rome, Napoleon) not with post-R2 TW. R2 is so different from Empire and the older gen, visually and gameplay wise.

CA realized that the Warhammer fans would eat up any shit they put out so they solely catered to them and actively pushed the oldgay fans out because they would actually call out CA's shit. Not to say that there weren't fanboys that sucked CA's dick at every moment but they were within a minority.

CA managed to successfully change its fanbase's demographics to question less and consume more to the point that the r/totalwar subreddit is the epitome of "Don't ask questions just consume product and then get excited for next product." I've seen them do a 180-degree opinion change on certain topics solely because Voloundgay mentioned it in a video or some shit. I've also seen them 180 from giving BJs to certain YouTubers, to suddenly making up negative shit about them because they would dare to criticize CA for being a bunch of morons.

Part of the reason Three Kingdoms got dropped out of nowhere even though they said there was more DLC on the way was that they realized:
    1. Fantasy gays only want Warhammer
    2. History gays don't want quasi-historical, they want full historical. Every attempt at historical/fantasy- mutt games appeases neither side.
    3. Chinese don't buy DLCs
    4. Their attempt to tweak the game to bring in history gays failed

Anyone that expects a "return to form" to the "good old days" with a Medieval2/Empire sequel is delusional and I actively pitty them. The CA that existed before Warscape is FAR gone at this point, the CA that existed from Empire to Rome 2/Attila is also gone. NuCA is here to stay. Their games have been steadily declining in quality for over a decade, like a loved one with dementia.

Nu Creative Assembly is as heartless as Game Workshop Group, a fitting union I suppose.

Are you comparing this to white privilege? You know, white privilege is just nepotism, and it's something israelites practice more than white people do.
