I remember reading GameFAQs reviews for these Wisdom Tree games and the author inserting some unnecessary 2000s nu atheist rant in the review. I mean, this isn't a bad little Zelda clone when all is considered.

k.. thx for the post
but have you anything useful to contribute to the thread?
Why bother? The thread was pretty damn useless from the start. You read a Gamefaqs review and it was cringey? Welcome to the club 25 years too late. Do you want a cookie?
OP you can't bump your own thread.
You can't?!
The thread didn't bump when this was posted so obvious OP samegay is obvious.
I didn't bump it because it's a shit thread. OP would want it bumped... are you just moronic?
Anon, you're not admitting that you saged a post, are you? Because that would earn you a three day vacation from Ganker.
welcome to a famibot thread,.expect more to come
one may never figure out why those who are not interested in a thread cannot simply hide and ignore it, but instead feel the need to post and complain about it
You realize you're even more cringe than this hypothetical atheist that you haven't been able to forget about for the past 20 years, right?
Doubt, but it sounds like his nu-atheist bit got under your skin.
Spiritual Warfare is relaxing fun, and I like the instrumental hymns as the soundtrack. Only wish the GB and Sega versions were easier to emulate.
>>God is not Christian
t. single-digit IQ poster
What's the deal with terminally assmad tourists freaking out whenever someone implies they have a memory better than a late stage Alzheimer's patient?
>Expecting quality from a famibot thread
keep me posted
used to have this cartridge, but i was always afraid to use it because the lockout zapper in these Color Dreams games could not be so good for your NES. fortunately today you can just use an Everdrive.
Tengen games were the only unlicensed ones you could trust that would be safe and not potentially damage your console 'cause they had a stolen lockout chip instead of a zapper circuit. In fact all Flash carts use a clone of the Tengen lockout chip rather than the Nintendo one.
There's a weird nerve-racking pause when you power the NES on before the title screen pops up, it's not like normal licensed carts where it comes on instantly. You did have to be a bit nervous about these unlicensed carts with lockout defeaters in them.
Here is a better review
ok
It's a fine game and technically beats Zelda 1 at least in all key areas.
gamefaqs reviews you sometimes have to take with a (heavy) grain of salt. like you just know some of them were written by some salty little homosexual upset his parents got him the wrong game and they were too cool and mature for it.
Why weren't Christian games the best games in existence? Wouldn't God want his games to be exceptional? I would have thought God would spiritually assist the developers, giving them divine intellect to create extraordinary experiences. Instead, these games are all Black personlicious.
I imagine God would want his followers doing real things with their lives instead of wasting time on children's toys.
>you must spend more time slaving away for a soulless corporation!
>you're either a slave to your impulses or a slave to the israelite, nothing else
The mind of a gamer who's never touched grass truly is fascinating.
Yes he does. But God is not Christian so he doesn't bless idolatry.
~~*Christian media*~~ is evil, only God matters
These games were made by atheists who wanted that sweet sweet Christian $$$. Also the games could be sold in stores that Nintendo couldn't extort to pull out the games. So these said atheists didn't even have to license their pharisaic crapware.
For as lawsuit-happy as Nintendo were/are they were still not going to risk the PR disaster of suing Christian bookstores.
Are you stupid, Anoniel? Japanese people don't have souls!
In the overarching design of videogames, God does win. The main narrative in videogames is you are the good guy and you are trying to stop the bad guy/s. Very rarely are you actually the bad person and even in many of those instances (GTA series being one) you are still the lesser of two evils. Good overcoming evil is the general narrative in all media.

>You're not making Christianity better, you're making vidya games worse.
You're making it up, because not a single one of these has atheism rants and I'm not checking other wisdom tree games.
OP is a fraud, kill him now.
youre only looking at the NES version it came out on Genesis and PC too check those.
It's all the same b***h
im not OP i was just curious too b***h
Tengen, Color Dreams/Wisdom Tree, Camerica, and AVE carts were always pretty common in flea markets and used game stores suggesting NOA's attempts to prevent stores from selling them weren't all that successful.
There were 90 unlicensed US NES games but Japan had very few of them, just a handful of FDS titles including several porn games.
NOA had more stringent licensing policies. Any unlicensed games that would be in Japan were FDS for cost reasons and because nobody was going to incur Nintendo's wrath by manufacturing unlicensed carts. As for US ones, if you look at Bootgod's site, the other thing you notice about those Tengen, Color Dreams etc games is that all components in them are American or Taiwanese. There's no Japanese chips in the things for same reason.
a lot of the people who wrote these FAQs were like 16 which is why you see stuff like "So, to get through this dungeon just grind for a while and you'll be okay."
A lot of Wisdom Tree/Color Dreams games are dogshit but some of them are surprisingly competent if not fun for what they are.
Menace Beach/Sunday Funday is awful but Bible Buffet is actually pretty fun and unique in a lot of ways for an NES game.
Bible Adventures' Noah Ark was the best. I loved throwing animals at other animals to knock them out.
Bible Adventures is iffy but I actually enjoy it for what it is, particularly the Noah's Ark section.
I didn't like the rest of Bible Adventures but once I figured out I could bean animals in the head to capture them in Noah's ark I was hooked.
Kek Super Noah's Ark 3D is kinda fun too but only because it's basically a total conversion mod of Wolfenstein.
I remember having the chance to buy a physical copy of that game back in the day and I passed on it. I should have bought it. I already had Wolfenstein.
I remember Seanbaby making fun of this game but even he admitted that going strictly by gameplay it was a decent Zelda clone
>blow open hole in prison wall
>leads to cave system
>that leads directly into hell
>Throw exploding sword at satan
>his head falls off
>the end
Batshit game, I liked it.
Why are atheists so cringe?
Why are monotheists so fragile and prone to false dichotomy?
I think I has to do with believing in objectivity or something like that. They're definitely the WRONG kind of enlightened, am I right?
This was a really good Zelda clone and the perfect game to utilize the whole Armor of God stuff.
>the author inserting some unnecessary 2000s nu atheist rant in the review.
What
I had the PC version. It was no Zelda, but it was a decent way to while away a rainy day.
op has been obsessed with an atheist on the internet for 25 years
Sounds more like he brought it up as a contrast to the actual qualities of this game, as a discussion talking point. Call me a coper or whatever for saying this, it's fine.
>seething about a post on the internet for over 2 decades
