Remake and Rebirth use a special AI program that specifically animates the lips to what the voice actor in each language is speaking. Cody and his other language counterparts would have had to record a line to go along with this sequence, including the OG lines.

All these things are repeated in later chapters in the main story, so you will still see them. 1 in the sleeping forest, 2 through marlene saying that to zack, 3 after the last fight.
