I think these are the two best games on the N64 console. There were a lot of great games, but these were the peak of the console.

Woops, meant Paper Mario, Pokemon Snap and Ocarina of Time, my bad.
Ah shit i meant to link Super Mario 64 and Rugrat's Treasure Hunt
🙂
You jest, but DKR >>> MK64.
I have no idea where the Mickey racing game falls since I never played it.
Dkr has no tracks and boat and plane levels suck.
Sorry, meant to post a pic of Blast Corps and Perfect Dark, not sure how those two games got there.
It's actually these two
Both awful games. Goldeneye is far better than PD and I'd rather almost anything over MM. Give me Hexen.
terrible opinions
Yup. And just because it says MM or WW doesn't make it any good no matter how culty it is
You don't have to think they're the greatest games ever made but calling them "awful" makes it obvious your opinions are worthless
>YOU CAN'T CRITICSE NINTENDO GAMES
I like plenty of Nintendo games like Punch Out and Mario Land but to try and claim an annoying games like MM deserves any praise is insulting. I hate constantly racing against the clock while also trying to take my time in dungeons to not miss anything. It's poorly designed. Let me guess you're going to defend this shit by saying I'm bad? No, I don't speed run in and never intend to.
Don'te Kong Sisfor Simply isn't a Game. It's Work
DK 64 is the first game I ever played where it felt like the developers were actively trolling me with horrible game design.
For me, it's Castlevania 64 and LoD
donkey kong is for babies
Collectathons are unplayable. Way too monotonous
After all these years I have never played Diddy Kong Racing. DK64 is fun, though
give it a go, it's not Mario Kart, it's a collectathon up front, you can use a plane immediately, and there's stuff to explore in the overworld, and then inside the levels there's some tough races.
i play turok and perfect dark and diddy still
only games on that console tbh
Sorry guys, Ganker must be messing up posts again. My photo was actually of WWF No Mercy and Shadowman
My top 5 N64 games:
- Castlevania and LoD
- the two Goemon games
- Duke Nukem Zero Hour
Turoks are okay, never played Mario 64, beat OoT but wouldn't put it in my top, Majora's Mask is a piece of shit, I always thought Goldeyene was laughably bad and I could never get into Perfect Dark
>goymon
Can't decide if this is a snowflake list or just pure bait
The two Goemon games are among the best games on the system.
yesterday I played DKR and MK64 for the first time. MK64 has tons of soul and legit good fun gameplay, but I was surprised how plastic and plain bad was DKR. The most redpilling thing is CTR is objectively better than both (and I HATE crash's clownish universe)
how much of a massive contrarian hipster do you have to be to pick anything other super mario 64, ocarina of time, or majoras mask for your top two N64 games
animal forest
banjo tooie
custom robo
no mercy
bomberman hero
toy story 2 probably means more to me than sm64. I really think it's zoomers looking back on the rich history of sm64 memes that put it on this grand pedestal above every other 64 game. We beat it then, loved it, and moved on for the most part. Sure you'd "start a new save" but only out of necessity while you waited to rent something else, you weren't beating it again anytime soon if at all. SM64 to me felt like just a simple teaser for the rest of the library. Back then you just wanted more 3D worlds to explore, and all the fancy mechanics in the world cant save you from half your levels being some abstract pre-alpha sgi nonsensical testbox rather than just something appealing like a kid's bedroom
how plain do you have to be to think some of the first games that came out are the best, like What.
