I've never played the pyro during the entire time I ever played TF2, I actually main the Spy believe it or not. Scouts are crazy good in this game as well but demos are capable of soloing many different classes provided that the person playing is actually somewhat proficient with the grenade launcher.

I played demo primarily and stopped way before that shit came out. How you make the OP character more OP (in pubs at least) and don't fix it for years though is fricking hilarious.
Some of these look legit some of them questionable. TF2 is fricking wonky when it comes to headshots, though this is coming from someone usually only ever stumbles to the top of the scoreboard when sniping.
Guy literally busted himself as a cheater by posting a video where a cheat function kicked in that wasn't blocked by the anti-screen recording function.
A lot of these clips are due to TF2 interpolation being fricked. Lazy Purple also had a section that discussed about Headshots that shouldn't have happened but interpolation gave you a freebie.

Using projectiles is already a step up in skill compared to hit-scan and bullets, but now said projectiles are effected by physics and you have to calculate arcs. This combined with the fact that grenades don't offer immediate explosions if they miss (unlike rockets) and sticky traps require careful use unless you expend all your ammo means that Demoman is pretty far beyond all other classes.

If soldier required skill to play then he wouldn't have been picked nearly as often as he is, any moron with sub 60IQ can master the soldier and get tons of kills while doing it, same thing cannot be said for many other classes.

based. honestly i find every class fun except spy and pyro. i played back before they added the airblast or any alt weapons and pyro was dogshit so i never got into him. problem with spy is hes just too slow and on densely populated servers youre going to catch a stray flame or explosion that will ruin your cloak and get you killed
The combination of explosive jumping and airshot potential is just too much fun, no class can match that.

Correct. Perhaps not the highest skill floor, but easily the highest skill ceiling. Using projectiles is already a step up in skill compared to hit-scan and bullets, but now said projectiles are effected by physics and you have to calculate arcs. This combined with the fact that grenades don't offer immediate explosions if they miss (unlike rockets) and sticky traps require careful use unless you expend all your ammo means that Demoman is pretty far beyond all other classes.

almost any other class if you're struggling with using your primary efficiently you can just whip out the shotgun and if you have passable aim, probably get a kill. If Demoman can't hit pipes and isn't positioning himself smartly enough to make use of stickies he's in big trouble
How old were you when you realized level 3 sentry gun rockets fired in a timeframe that allows pyro to survive long enough to reflect the rocket then leave its firing range?

When last I played TF2 the sticky launcher was utterly broken and overpowered. I know this because I used it all the time and it was an easy way to dominate the server.
iirc iron bomber pipes are how the pipe launcher was actually supposed to be and they nerfed the size of them in order to try and counter people carpet bombing spawns by arcing them over map geometry
dunno if that's true but it makes sense to me, considering how weirdly difficult the pipe is to use compared to every other projectile weapon and how grenade launchers feel in every other quake derivative i've played
