One of the most fun things about edf is baiting a frickton of enemies and then having someone attempt to kill as many as they can in one big play death or not.

Because their fricktarded westerner alpha testers said gibbing gigantic masses of enemies "wasn't satisfying", and also the graphical fidelity didn't allow for them to keep huge amounts of enemies around. Really just a sad situation all around. I'm hopeful maybe it gets some changes in the future but for right now I wouldn't pay full price. $20 tops.
I love HD1, but there simply wasn't anything new to add to it. Also all their games are isometric, this is their first big third/first person break and honestly its pretty nice to see they did it well. You can tell they threw a lot of effort into it and refining its details.
Its just the server issues which are holding it back atm.
